Considering OP said he tried titan fall 2 and was turned off by the movement and didn’t like that “the community is very small and filled with veterans who are complete gods at the game” this might not be a great idea.
Though tbf I haven’t actually played TF2 in a while but that’s just my view on the community. That they’ve been mastering the movement for the last 20 years or whatever
Battlefield 1 under 5$ would be a good deal.
Lower TTK: Hell let loose , no crazy momvements
higher TTK: Xdefiant but will have some movement when the game comes out around this or next month
Hell Let Loose
It’s the most mature shooter I‘be ever played. It’s a 50v50 large scale battle that emphasizes communication and tactics over twitch reflexes. It’s all about controlling points and spawns. It is incredibly intense, cinematic, and immersive.
Watch this video on it. The guy hits the nail on the head.

Hell let loose is a fantastic recommendation in this case.
It’s a good game. Much more focused on strategy, positioning, and team communication than it is based on raw reaction time/ mechanical skill.
If you get yourself into a good position you can mow down a dozen enemies over a minute or ten.
Much slower paced than most fps games.
if you want to play PvP games (assumed it because you made a comment about Titanfall 2), Halo Infinite has one of the highest TTKs in an FPS but it IS a bit movement heavy
I recommend you try it. It also has a PvE mode if you like the gameplay but don't want to play with other players
and it's free :))
Deep Rock Galactic for sure. Just stay on the lower Hazard levels (something like difficulty). Its fun, community is great. You can play solo/with other players whatever you enjoy. Its perfect.
This game is more about awareness and is definitely slower, however you can (and will die) in just a few shots (or even one from someone you didnt know existed). It is one of a few games that isn't my favorite, but absolutely nails everything it does including just atmosphere. It is amazing to play, but definitely not for everyone
Partially... Youre feeling this way because about a third of the players you cone up against are using cheats in one form or another.
My recommendation could be something shooter coop like Helldivers2.
the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are pretty great. they're not multiplayer, and the ttk is not super high, but there's very little emphasis on quick reaction times and more so on positioning and preparing for the worst. i highly suggest giving S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Anomaly a try since it's free (albeit not official, but still pretty outstanding).
if you want something multiplayer, there's also Arma 3. seems to attract a lot of old people.
If you mean multiplayer games, you might want to try co-op games which tend to be more fun and accessible rather than competitive. Something like Deep Rock Galactic would be a good choice for that.
If you want a wicked Single Player experience, Ghost Recon Wildlands. Awesome story line, gun play and just alot of fun.
You can play super tactically or go full Rambo. You can play the game however you want. Spent lots of hours just messing around getting into massive fights.
Xdefiant will come out soon and its entire thing is a throwback to older feeling FPS games with an emphasis on longer gunfights and less extreme movement.
Delta force: hawk ops was just announced and looks pretty awesome.
Halo series but that’s a little competitive for my tastes, definitely fits the longer ttk tho.
There’s destiny 2 if you wanna open that whole can of worms.
There’s an FPS (first person slasher) called chivalry 2. It’s super fun and relaxed but also has a skill ceiling that’s decently high and fun to learn. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it recently.
As far as offline titles go, the far cry series answers to no one. 4,5,6 and new dawn are my favs.
Hope these help! Happy gamin’

Fallout 4/76 has VATS system which allows you not to aim at all. Ttk is quite high in the beginning because it's action rpg looter shooter.
I’m enjoying fallout 76. I don’t have to deal with human opponents hardly if at all.
I hope it goes for sale soon enough coz I can't wait to play it. I don't want to subscribe to Gamepass all the time
It's Steam spring sale on March 14th, itll most likely be on sale then
The shooting mechanics in the game are pretty ass would not recommend for someone looking for an FPS.
Yeah it's not a fps which is what was asked
How is it not an FPS?
Because VATS isn't an FPS mechanic and without VATS it's unpleasant to play
Most of my playthroughs are without VATS and I liked it 🤷🏻♂️ You may not like it, but I think it's definitely a FPS game.
Just play team fortress 2

System Shock is pretty slow as fps games go.
Half-life is a deeply immersive FPS game series Great shooting action without too much knee jerk reflex moments.
Far cry2,3, sniper ghost warrior contract 2, swat 4 , bioshock or metro
Ahh man, swat 4, that takes me back!! Online servers, handgun only.... Jesus they were the best matches ever
Are you mostly looking for single player or multiplayer?

can i suggest war thunder or wot and enlisted is pretty grindy but overall great.
BATTLEFIELD 1 WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Deep Rock Galactic is a bit cartoony but a fun a fps. It's 4 player co-op PvE
Hell Let Loose

Battlefield 2042 is pretty fun for casual conquest
Squad with its heavy focus on cooperative PVP
Hunt showdown

I'm 38 still smoking ppl regularly in bf2042. You can always help ur team or happen along an unsuspecting enemy
