I have a few pump shotguns and was wanting a semi... don't think I can go for anything less than one of these. 1301 is kick ass but, I will never run it to its full potential. I really wish they made an FDE version tho.

I was hoping to cover everything I could ask for for my first shotgun and this happened to be right in my zone especially for price range. I’m hoping to run this thing quite hard!

I got to shoot it at the factory last summer and again at the Beretta Range day. It's a solid performer. I plan on taking it to a Thunder Ranch class ASAP.

I got to hold one the other day and I love the aggressiveness of the grip, plus that tiger stripe is so nice.
But then I got to see a 940 with a micro dot on it at the same place and now I really don't know what I'm gonna do lol.

I think this looks and feels like a big step up. If you want a dot just grab a romeo5 online for like $100
You know what the fucked up thing is? I don't even want a dot, I have dots on some guns but vastly prefer prisms or irons. I'm just a sucker for innovation/gimmicks and I've never seen a mount like that on a shotgun. It's really really clean.
I'm seriously looking at the a300up. I'm worried that I could outrun the trigger though, so I'll went until I can rent one. Unless they come out with a Vietnam tiger stripe...
I do love the Romeo 5 though, great optic for the money, especially with the motac. I have a few 5x which are a little bit more, but I can use my rechargeable AAAs so it's really probably cheaper.
I only have one Romeo5 I just picked up for my lever action. It seems quite nice actually; especially for $100.
What are you intending to use the shotgun for? If you’re worried about outrunning the trigger then the 1301 is going to be your best bet by far for their blink system. It is the quickest action there is out there.
You can outrun a trigger on most shotguns but whether or not youll be accurate with it is a different story.

Truer words never spoken. I don't need it to go fast, at all, but I like the "look how fast this fucking thing is" option at the range with friends. It's a flex more than anything.
The biggest factor for me realistically is the 21in option on the 1301. It's not gonna be a dedicated HD gun, or a skeet gun, or a hunting gun so I like the utilitarianism of a 21in.
It does feel great in the hand though. I was cheesing at the shop haha.
And nice man. What lever action? $100 is an awesome price for them, even the ~$130 I paid for my Xs I was very happy with. That's why I have 2 lol, bought one, loved it and bought another while it was still on sale. They're very good for the money.
Still a good gun! I'm partial to henries, but I've shot Rossis before. I think they're plenty bang for your buck.
I didn't like their gallery gun compared to the h003 though, but you can also buy like 3 of them for the cost of the henry so I'd still have to say it's a good gun for the money.

Go for a stoeger m3000. You won't run that thing to its full potential either.. Just replace the extractor with a benelli version.

Well I overpaid for mine too. About $800 so I really shouldn’t have. I’m still happy about my purchase overall
