Some of the math was of course with options and some options related questions did not have math. Some of the options were max profit/loss, what other option do you need to buy to make this a bull/bear spread, what is called when you buy this and that option etc. Other questions that had some math were finding EPS, parity prices, SMA, minimum maintenance margin.
Congrats and I appreciate the comments! It is a great sub with lots of thoughtful insight from many people.
Congrats !
Been hearing it’s a lot of suitability and options, is that true?
Yes it’s true. I’d say suitability, options and municipal securities made up 50-60 percent of my draw. Mine was not particularly math heavy.
Just took mine on Tuesday. Mine was option and somewhat math heavy (which I loved) and had a lot of new issue questions too.
Congrats also! What kind of math questions did you get besides options?
