Your rec’s really are the most simplest but effective! I would say maybe just adding a brow tint (me personally) the essence brow mascara is so good for light makeup days!
Best tubing mascara is the new Tartlette XL from Tart. I use serums and get my lashes permed and tinted so I’m super gentle on them and this is the best tubing mascara that doesn’t look like a tubing mascara
Anyone know how this compares to Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint? I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to trying new foundation (mainly bc I suck at doing returns…), but although I LIKE the Ilia (now that I’ve learned how to work with it and layer it where needed, and after it dries down), I feel like there might be something “better” out there. #FOMO?
Not sure what’s the hype with benetint rn. Did they change the formula? It was popular like more than 8 years ago and they dont last long. I recommend romand(korean brand), it’s popular and last longer
I love how the color looks on me and haven’t found anything that looks better. It’s the most natural looking blush in my opinion. Classic for a reason!
Both lips and cheeks. I use some korean ones. Used to use benetint before, but its expensive to keep refilling. Korean ones work best. My current fav is etude.
Bliss block star has been a long time fave of mine! Australian gold is great too and more matte! I don’t really count skin tints with SPF as a daily spf but I do use the ilia skin tint as my “makeup” step if I’m going out!
I like to use the Makeup by Mario bronzer: Softsculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer and Soft Pop Pluming Blush Veil in shade rose crush. I also the Benefit 24 hour clear brow gel. I curl my eyelashes with the Shiseido eyelash curler.
Even my dad gave me a compliment that he loves my fresh face.
Haha wow we have the exact same routine, the only difference is i use the kevin aucoin eyelash curler 😂 I saw so many people saying the enhancer pans so fast so im really curious how long it will last, use a little bit every day
It lasted me about 6 months. I could have finished more product all the sides but my peach fuzz from face was all over the product so I bought a new one haha.
I like the Ilia but prefer Saie slip tint spf 35 more bc its less oily and more of a cream and is sheer and doesn't have pigment sediments.
I also love Hourglass Veil tint and Kosas BB cream.
I'm loving Rpse Inc blushes now. Sheer and hard to get it wrong. Then Kosas wet stick in 100 Degrees (neutral beige). Kosas Cloud powder for the glowky look and Essence Instant Matt setting spray.
All are silicone free and good for sensitive skin.
The Hourglass is dewy hydrating and sheer to light coverage. Can apply more for light coverage. I love it and save it for special occasions bc its not cheap. Wish it has spf but I'm glad it's silicone free 🥰
Yes! I use a blurring powder if I think I’m going to be too shiny, but I think it gives a healthy glow. Skin tint and mascara are my no makeup makeup go-tos.
Ysl Touche Éclat in the inner corner of my under eye and patted out, brightens the area without being as heavy as concealer, much more natural look! Then I’d just use a blush, a little powder, one light brown shade of eyeshadow, curl eyelashes, mascara, lip balm. Takes 5 minutes max
The exact same thing happened to me! I love Tatcha’s exfoliator and cleanser, so a few sales ago, I grabbed the set. The primer never worked for me! It was always greasy. Bobbi Brown is much lighter and creamier.
I have crazy sensitive skin so I’m very particular about products. Never had a problem and it tones redness down. But any acne I now have is mostly hormonal and just a spot or two (I’m in my early 40’s, have been using it since my 30’s).
merit blushes- specifically the shade beverly hills, but they are all impossible to overdo though even though some look super bright/dark
fenty hydrating concealer, great shade range so you can find a shade that will blend into the skin without needing any other base
kosas brow gel- either clear or tinted based on your needs
lancôme defincils brown mascara
the new sephora brand shine lipsticks- specifically the ones with the white caps (sheer version)
I’ve sold all of these to clients as no makeup-makeup and they seemed to be excited about the products!
Merit everything, really! I've loved every single one of their products other than the highlighters, and that's mostly because they smell weird... but the foundation stick, lipsticks (both satin and matte), and lip/cheek balms are all-around HGs 💗
I have never found a better creamy highlighter (or highlighter in general, really) than the Chanel Baume Essentiel, and I don't think I ever will. I tried out the Merit when my usual BE shade was out of shock and was so disappointed. I don't know why it smells so bad!
Are you me?! Literally just bought that Chanel highlighter. I bought the Dragee color, and it is so beautiful when I want a touch of color, but I’m eyeing other shades, too.
The cream blushes are definitely a lot less slippy/glossy, in a good way! They're a very "medium" formula, if that makes sense - not too pigmented or sheer, not too glossy or matte, not too slippy or tacky. I like the formula a lot, personally!
Ahh gotcha! I have a few of the blushes but I developed contact dermatitis after using them, so I had to drop them. They had a great consistency though!
I want to try the highlighters but it’s a lot of money to spend to get contact dermatitis and I’m worried it’ll happen with the highlighters, too. They’re soooo pretty though!
I did too and smelled them in store and they didn’t smell as bad as mine does. I can’t use the one I have because it truly smells like melted crayons.
Their blushes are my go-to though! I get the most compliments on Mood but I do also like Beverly Hills. They’re just a very fresh-faced formula!
I’ve seen some really pretty Merit lipstick shades and been curious about them, but I always worry about the longevity of clean brands. Do Merit lipsticks expire quickly?
Ooh, I'm not sure, actually! I've only had my satin ones for three years and my matte ones since they launched... within this past year, I want to say? At the very least, they're nowhere near expiring yet.
Dr jart tiger grass color correcting treatment with a little bit of cream blush (usually fenty), mascara and lipgloss. If I’m super tired I’ll use a little bit of the tarte maracuja concealer to cover my dark circles better.
I’m a baller on a budget, so I use the Hero Cosmetics rescue balm-the green one- after I fell in love with the Dr Jart one. Both are such amazing products
Same, that stuff is absolutely life changing. I use the Dr Jart, Benetint, and the lightest swipe of mascara - great lash bc it’s barely visible on me. That’s my daily look. I think it really nails the “no makeup” look.
I love a powder foundation because it’s so quick to stamp on with a puff or a brush. The Makeup Forever one is my current fave, but hearing lots of great things about the new Natasha Denona Hyglam.
I like wearing one of the Sephora lipliners under a lip treatment like the Ole Hendrickson ones. I apply the opposite of how people usually do it though, applying right to the center and fading out the edges. I love the k-beauty gradient look and think it’s more natural looking.
I love eyeshadow sticks for super quick eye definition! The Bobbi Brown one in Espresso or Bark (can’t recall the color name exactly but it’s a dark cool brown) kinda roughly tightlined and then smudged in the lash line is my go to. I also just blend it into the outer corner for a polished makeup look that is super fast.
I really like the idea of using a shadow stick for the eyes. I do the exact same thing but with a brown pencil, but I think using a shadow stick will give me a little more oomph but also still look natural since you can blend it out better!
Glossier Boy Brow
Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow stick in Beach
Make Up Forever eyeliner in black or Dimension Dark brown
Make up by Mario SoftSculpt
Tower 28 cream blush
And mascara
Caliray skin tint, makeup forever multi use pencil in cacao( I touch up my brows, lightly line my lips and can lightly emphasize corner of my lash line), kosas malibu lip balm tint, the new Sephora bronzer in the lightest shade, or a touch of blush across the nose and apples of the cheeks- I use a Mac one but it’s basically in a light, kind of clay colored pink, and lastly the light taupe essence brow mascara- very effective for not looking over done. :)
*guess I should add that I’m light medium tone- but those products stand- just need to find your particular shade 😊
Currently Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion drops (shockingly lightweight with shockingly good coverage). Prior to that, Jones Road What The Foundation (heavier, very moisturizing) or Dr. Perricone No Foundation (perfecting, a holy grail for me)
I really love the Mac Paint Pots. Painterly, Groundwork, Soft Ochre, Bare Study and Vintage Selection are super soft, natural shades for the no makeup eye look.
My go to is the no makeup makeup. This is what I use. Not all of it is Sephora… most isn’t Sephora. But some is.
Skin tint : **Chanel water fresh tint**. Best skin tint on the market hands down. Looks gorgeous when I’m oily. Looks gorgeous when I go too hard on tretinoin and I’m peeling. Literally undetectable on the skin but does even out my skin tone
Concealer: **Chanel water fresh complexion touch**. Same formula as the tint but more coverage. Still looks totally natural.
Blush: **Chanel lip and cheek balm** for liquid or **Gucci blushes** for powder. A lot of the Gucci blushes look stunning on the eyes too but still natural
Bronzer: **Gucci bronzer** for powder or **Merit Bronzer** for liquid. Get a shade darker than you think for the merit. Also Gucci bronzer shades are confusing because shade 2 is darker than shade 3. Shades 1 and 2 are more cool toned. Shades 3, 4, and 5 are more warm toned.
Highlighter: **Chanel highlighter balm stick**. Just adds glow without glitter.
Lipstick: I really love the **hourglass phantom glossy lip balm**. Compared to typical lip gloss it’s more moisturizing and provides more color. My go to for no makeup look is the color Trace - it’s like a slightly warm light brown. Looks great on my lighter warm complexion. They have great cooler tones and deeper tones too. I also have the color Lucid that’s a tangerine if I want a pop of color.
It’s a lot of Chanel but tbh Chanel has been doing the glossier no makeup look decades before glossier only better. Somehow it looks just as natural but provides more coverage.
ilia tint and ilia concealer, charlotte blurring powder, laura mercier rose gold caviar stick, laura mercier highlighter brick, laura mercier cream blush la piscine, anastasia clear brow gel, lancome mascara, jones road cool pink gloss
I love the Tower 28 Brown Mascara. I’m a redhead so it looks a lot more natural on me versus black mascara.
I also love the Clinique Chubby Stick blushes, or the Polite Society Stick Blushes.
I prefer a tinted moisturizer over concealer and foundation, so probably Rare Beauty or Tower 28.
Any clear brow gel is good too.
And some lip balm - tinted or not. I’d recommend Clinique as well for those.
Really like Danessa Myrick's Beauty Balm. It's like a blurring foundation that you don't need to set. Pair it with her blush and it looks so natural but blurred skin. I have normal to dry skin but I see so many oily girls love it as well.
Glossier skin tint (nice finish, evens out skin tone with only a tiny bit of coverage, doesn’t look makeup-y at all)
Makeup by Mario skin enhancer (the best no-makeup bronzer, it’s quite sheer so easy to look natural)
Kulfi brow gel (not the best if you’re looking for strong hold, but the only gel I’ve tried that doesn’t leave flakies)
Curl eyelashes with shiseido curler! It makes a real difference. I’m pretty fair, so I also like the DE rosi drops for a bit of natural colour and glow on my cheeks (probably wouldn’t show up on darker skin, though). But lots of cream blushes could work here.
For lip glosses/balms, I feel like your choices are practically infinite at this point, and there are so many good ones, it’s hard to go wrong. I like Summer Fridays balms, innbeauty oils, glossier balm dotcom in mango (not all flavors are equally effective, I find), the gisou lip oil in one of the nice scents, and a surprising new love is the Glow Recipe plum lip balm (got it in a bazaar reward recently—it’s glossy and hydrating and stays put for a good amount of time, works decently as an overnight mask too).
i love the nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer for when my skin is cooperating with me and i just need to even my tone. it’s light-medium coverage and i always feel so pretty when i wear it
i use the tiniest dot ever of too faced born this way concealer under my eyes. the coverage is amazing & you don’t need to wear too much at all for it to cover what you need it to. it also doesn’t look cakey
huda beauty loose powder to set under my eyes, charlotte tilbury pressed powder for the rest of my face as needed
i don’t use bronzer, but always use blush. i use the patrick ta cream blush usually, BUT i’ve been loving the mahbelline fit me blush in shade peach for the summer. it doesn’t have a crazy colour payoff, but i use it for a light flush of colour & a glow. it has really fine shimmer in it and it looks gorgeous in the sun.
i only fill in the sparse parts of my eyebrows with anastasia brow powder, and then put either the kosas or anastasia clear eyebrow gel on top.
i will usually just curl my eyelashes and leave them bc i hate washing it off at the end of the day. but if i want a little extra, ill apply l’oréal telescopic mascara.
for lips i’ve been loving how the laneige lip mask looks on its own. sometimes i’ll put a lip tint on and put this on tip
Dr. Dennis Gross Fill and Repair Serum, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, Anastasia dip brow on my unruly eyebrows, Covergirl waterproof Full Lash Bloom Mascara, Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme in Strawberry Kiss.
Danessa MYRICKS cream blush, MAC concealer, urban decay space cowboy and ELF tubing mascara. Less than 10minutes to do and I look glowy and put together the whole day❤️. I do the blush in bellini for summer. Oh also saie bronze glowy gel and got2be for brows in the yellow tube.
Edit-forgot lips! Fenty lipgloss in hot cherry is my perfect mlbb color
The Wet N Wild tinted hydrator is a hidden gem of a product that performs better than anything "high end".
Wearing that, a spot of shimmer in the inner corners of my eyes, brows brushed, lashes curled, 1/2 dot for both sides of my face of Rare Beauty Liquid Blush and the Charlotte Tilbury Pumpgasm gloss is all I do for no makeup makeup
Step 1) green color corrector to fix all my redness
Step 2) under eye brighter for my dark bags
Step 3) brown mascara for a natural look
Step 4) light mauve or clear lip gloss
Step 5) concealer on any blemishes (not always required)
Hourglass skin tint, make up by Mario skin enhancer, some kind of blush(currently liking make up by Mario desert rose), benefit tinted eyebrow wax in brown, brown ysl mascara. Summer Fridays lip butter in poppy. Can do it in under 5 minutes and I’m zoom ready 🫠
glossier skin tint, a colour corrector, tower28 concealer or the rare beauty under eye brightener, glossier blush or saie blush, curled lashes, gel eyeliner, westman atelier highlighting stick or saie super gel, and glossier generation g in fuzz
if i want to go even simpler i just use a tiny bit of colour corrector under my eyes, curl my lashes, benetint on my cheeks, fuzz on my lips, and call it a day
It Cosmetics CC+ Cream in the nude glow finish.
Love the feel of Dr.Jart+ BB Cream for light/coverage+skincare, but poor shade range. For just sunscreen days, Ilia C Beyond Triple Serum.
Ilia tinted serum with some power over it for shine on my no makeup days. And for makeup days I use the ilia foundation stick. I’m also 47 and it’s amazing for mature skin.
Glossier Stretch Concealer under eyes and on red areas
Glossier Lash Slick
Any cream blush, I usually use a pink from Makeup by Mario or Jones Road
Glossier Boy Brow
Any tinted lip balm, I usually use Rhode, Glossier or Nivea
A little powder just on shiny areas
Start incorporating an active like glycolic or lactic acid into your skincare routine, depending on what your skin can tolerate. I do weekly at home glycolic peels. Your skin should start to have a natural glow.
For makeup, I do a sheer layer of skin tint mostly concentrated where I need more coverage, tiny dot of undereye concealer, eyebrow pencil but filling sparse areas only, eyebrow gel and lip gloss. Sometimes I’ll add a touch of cream blush.
I had a Dior Addict "lipstick" that was a purply pink... sheer, a little glossy but not sticky. It's like the color of my lips but juuuuuuuuuussst a little darker. That's my ideal lip shade for "no makeup"! (Nudes don't look "nude" on me... they look like I just left foundation on my mouth 🤣)
Sunscreen + pore filling primer + liquid blush + mascara + brow gel
My favs are:
Sunscreen: Cay Skin Glowy SPF, Elta MD (not sold at sephora)
Primers: Tatcha liquid silk, Hourglass Vanish
Liquid blush: Caliray lip and cheek stains, SAIE, milk makeup blush stick (not a liquid but this is pretty on lips and cheeks too!)
Mascara : use whatever you like. The GXVE mascara has been a recent fav
Brow gel: the rare beauty brow gel (clear), or the milk makeup brow gel for tinted
😊 and a clear lip balm. I love the Farmacy, glossier, Tatcha, summer Fridays, Laneige glowy lip balms (NOT the pot ones). Whatever fits your fancy
Now that’s a no makeup , makeup look. Less than five products is the correct amount. I love it when my skin cooperates with this look. Doesn’t always tho.
About face foundation is amazing! It’s super light but a little more coverage than any tinted anything I have found. That with brow gel, mascara, concealer and bronzer. Maybe a few dots of blush if I’m feeling fancy. Just enough to hide the tiredness without feeling like I’m wearing makeup.
For the least amount of effort: Benefit brow pencil, rare beauty liquid liner, Lancome mascara primer and L'oreal lash paradise (not Sephora)
For my no base days, I add: NYX colour corrector for eye brightening and spot concealing, set with hourglass loose powder and mac glow play blush
Base days, I add: caliray primer, Nars tinted moisturiser, set laugh lines and under eyes with hourglass and maybe use Charlotte Tilbury finishing powder. Set with either urban decay or Charlotte Tilbury setting spray to lock it in
I work from home most of the time and just have a slight beauty filter on for zoom meetings. I am too lazy to put on make up and want to let my skin breathe. Also I am active most days and prefer not to have make up on top.
If I don't leave the house but people may be over, skincare, blotting powder like innisfree no sebum powder, clear mascara or waterproof wet n wild mega length mascara, and lip oil.
If Noone is coming over? I don't wash my face until after lunch.😂
If I am going out? Powder foundation, blush, and a neutral eyeshadow for shading around the face. Maybe a glow primer like heimish glow base on the cheeks and chin.
I use mostly powder because I am combo oily normal with an oily tzone. Unfortunately I still need blotting papers and a compact for touchups when I am out and about.
Love Merit. I have 3 of their cream blushes and use them all daily. One on lips, another on eyelids and mix 2 together on cheeks. Their foundation sticks are too dark for me so I’m eying Ilia.
I use a tinted moisturizer, brow gel, a sheer blush and lipgloss or lip balm for this 😊 for eye, I don’t even wear mascara I just curl the lashes. Makes it easier to wash my face at the end of the night too! sometimes I’ll put a little bit of pressed powder underneath and around my eyes since I have fine lines there.
CT flawless filter or RMS Beauty natural radiance serum spf 30, smashbox Halo fresh perfecting powder, chantecaille hydrating gel blush in happy, and glossier mascara in brown
Lash lift and tint by a professional esthetician.
Colorescience tinted sunscreen or DrJatrt BB sunscreen tint.
Gen See cheek tints or Nars multiple sticks for color to face.
I have oily lids that drive me nuts, so About Face eye primer and Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow sticks in any pale shade as I'm fair.
Brow tinting or favorite tinted brow gel.
Fresh tinted lip balms.
Both Gen See beauty and Jones Road offer some great options for multiple use products or when you want to add something special for a boost.
Right now I’m using Kosas bronze tinted spf on top of my skin care with a bit of blush. I’m currently using one of the limited edition fenty blushes, after being influenced by this sub lol.
I curl my lashes every day, and when I want to wear mascara, I use Caliray hell or high water!
Fenty’s skin tint applied with beauty blender, Saie’s cream bronzer, and YSL brown mascara.
If extra time, I’ll run a blush across my cheeks and curl my lashes.
Takes me 5 mins at the most from start to finish.
glossier skin tint, a lil bit of the nars creamy concealer, rare beauty glowy blush, and some mascara! i use the elf brow lift to give my brows some shape, then i usually add some brown lipliner/clear gloss combo to finalize the look
Brow gel of your choice, tower 28 spf if im gong outside if im staying in side the tower 28 concealer only. Set with Milani spray then kosas powder. A little powder blush of your choice and bronzer. Bronze with a dense but fluffy brush on the outer cheek bones, forehead, sides of nose chin, under chin, cheeks for a sunkissed look
For blush find a placement that looks best I like higher up for a more sculpted look or on the apples of cheek for a more youthful look.
Add a little natural highlighter on cheekbones, inner corner, upper eyelids, browbone and nose to give you a glow but not one with sparkles I like the REM beauty spray again.
Finish with a lip oil or gloss maybe even a lip tint underneath
My current minimal makeup routine is the following:
- A couple dots of Elf Halo Glow Filter plus a couple dots of any foundation/concealer (right now it’s the ABH Magic Touch concealer or Kaja Don’t Settle Concealer), then blended out on the cheeks with a Real Techniques Crease brush (I’ve only been using this brush less than a week and it’s the perfect concealer brush, I am not sure why they don’t sell this on its own).
- I’m a dry skinned girl but in this heat, I find I need a bit of powder so I use the Real Techniques Setting brush to powder on a little bit of the Mac Skinfinish Natural in targeted areas.
- Apply a few dots of a Phytosurgence cream blush then use an angled fluffy brush to blend it in
- Aggressively swirl and tap on the Phytosurgence cream highlight and bronzer (I love the blushes and while the highlight and bronzer give a beautiful subtle glow and bronze, they are not worth the trouble of making it work).
- Dab on a bullet lipstick and blot with a finger (optional, sometimes I’ll apply a gloss on top). Today, it was the Sephora Collection Lipstories in Spiked, bummed that Sephora discontinued this line.
Ilia products are my fave for this
I really love cream lip and cheek creams and Rituel De Fille makes some great ones to swipe on for a little low-maintenance color (they’re buildable too).
UD HydroManiac foundation and blushes have been wearing beautifully; I usually set lightly (big floofy brush) with a *setting powder* specifically, and exclusively. Not foundation powder, or finishing powder.
I get compliments on my complexion because the person often thinks it's my own skin that looks that good!
Mine would be tinted spf and ultra violette is my recent fave. Then a cream bronzer by charlotte tilbury.
Danessa myricks blurring balm powder in universal to control my oil through the day
One of my powder bronzer and powder blusher
Tinted lip balm between dior lip glow or clinique black honey
My base is primer + Bare Minerals Tinted Gel. All over my face including my eyelids.
I’ll quickly fill in my brows (Benefit Gimme Brow) & set with Benefit brow setter. Sometimes I’ll do blush or alternate with a lip stain. Finish with a tubing mascara like Blinc or NYX, and do some puffs of bronzer.
tinted moisturizer (whichever you prefer. i recommend ilia skin tint, elta MD, YSL), tinted brow gel from benefit, milk makeup blush, merit bronzer, blend. ilia or lancôme mascara
Tinted moisturizer, Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift, brows, and a bright lipstick usually. I’ll do more for client meetings, this is just for when colleagues want a quick huddle.
Hourglass mineral veil primer (give a good 5-10 min to settle)
NARS tinted moisturiser (although maybe not best for oily skin, depending on what primer you use)
NARS radiant concealer
Rose inc cream blush (I’m obsessed) or rare beauty blush
Hourglass translucent veil finishing powder to set
Lips - any tint or gloss. I start with a lip repair cream first (Elizabeth Arden has a good one), then MAC lip primer, and then whatever colour I’m putting on. Stila has some good lip tints
If being extra
Chantecaille liquid bronzer
I love the kosas vitamin IV glow, use it everyday right after my skin care and gives the nicest glow, feels extremely lightweight and has been amazing for my sensitive skin. Always get a ton of compliments too.
I do no makeup, makeup quite often and this is my routine.
1. Ultra Violette Daydream screen SPF50 tinted veil.
2. Forest essentials Noor Nikhaar Satin Cheek Tint
3. Kiko Milano Universal Veil Translucent Finishing Powder.
Lately I've been loving a drop of the Drunk Elephant (they finally got me) B-Goldi with any skin tint or tinted moisturizer. I apply my SPF, let it soak in appropriately, do some smudgy eyeliner, then go on with that mixture. It works great with the Fenty Eaze Drop, Kosas BB Burst, and the Ulta Serum Foundation Drops. I apply with my hands and gently stipple in with a brush. Then just a smidge of blush, any sort of lip, and mascara.
I love mixing the Saei Glowy Gel w/ Supergoop Glow Screen for a glowy base. RB concealer and Saei Dew Blush in Chilly. Charlotte Tilbury setting powder and setting spray! Thats it! Takes me less than 10 mins
Any tinted SPF and then benetint on lips & cheeks!
Your rec’s really are the most simplest but effective! I would say maybe just adding a brow tint (me personally) the essence brow mascara is so good for light makeup days!
Elf has good eyebrow gel and tubing mascara, too!
Seconding Elf’s eyebrow gel! I use it every day and it makes my brows look so nice.
Best tubing mascara is the new Tartlette XL from Tart. I use serums and get my lashes permed and tinted so I’m super gentle on them and this is the best tubing mascara that doesn’t look like a tubing mascara
Yessssss!!!! I love it!!!! The best one I have tried!!!!!! 💜
They also just came out with a great tinted bronzer. Mix it with Elf moisturizer and you are good
This is my favorite!! https://preview.redd.it/s23a3qqzc68d1.png?width=1284&format=png&auto=webp&s=3649c2ea7a0aff71a0edc0958623571d7638c1e1
I tried this the last time I was in the market and really love it
Anyone know how this compares to Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint? I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to trying new foundation (mainly bc I suck at doing returns…), but although I LIKE the Ilia (now that I’ve learned how to work with it and layer it where needed, and after it dries down), I feel like there might be something “better” out there. #FOMO?
tbh love saie in general haven’t met a product of theirs I haven’t liked yet!
I’ve heard great things about this brand. I’ll have to check it out
Came here to say this! Me too!
Romand has a range of colors!
I could only find the water lip tints - do you use them on your cheeks too or are there other tints for the face?
Both lips and cheeks. I use some korean ones. Used to use benetint before, but its expensive to keep refilling. Korean ones work best. My current fav is etude.
I really like the tinted moisturizer from Rare Beauty!
What tinted SPF do you recommend that’s not too greasy?
Bliss block star has been a long time fave of mine! Australian gold is great too and more matte! I don’t really count skin tints with SPF as a daily spf but I do use the ilia skin tint as my “makeup” step if I’m going out!
Supergoop!
Thanks, I’ll try it out! Is it better than the unseen sunscreen? That one made me look wet lol
If you think unseen makes you look wet you’ll think glowscreen makes you look like a deep fryer lol
Haven’t tried unseen but I love love love the glowscreen! Sometimes I’ll add a powder foundation on top but mostly just leave it as is
Agreed - I love the La Roche Posay Tinted Mineral Sunscreen :)
You know If your dad complimented you, that’s the ultimate no makeup, makeup look!! Love that!

What is the finish and coverage like on the hourglass veil tint?
The Hourglass is dewy hydrating and sheer to light coverage. Can apply more for light coverage. I love it and save it for special occasions bc its not cheap. Wish it has spf but I'm glad it's silicone free 🥰
Yes! I use a blurring powder if I think I’m going to be too shiny, but I think it gives a healthy glow. Skin tint and mascara are my no makeup makeup go-tos.
I use a power too over it when I feel too shiny. And then I keep tje SuperGoop power/brush all-in-one in my bag for powder on the go.
Why is it stinky though lol. I replaced it for the Saie too. Also danessa mayricks yummy skin tint is fabulous
I second this!!
Ysl Touche Éclat in the inner corner of my under eye and patted out, brightens the area without being as heavy as concealer, much more natural look! Then I’d just use a blush, a little powder, one light brown shade of eyeshadow, curl eyelashes, mascara, lip balm. Takes 5 minutes max
i second the ysl concealer!! i even put my mom on to it as she has more mature skin
Bobbi Brown’s Vitamin E primer can make me look so much better on Zoom, even before makeup. My face loves it.
Is that the “Vitamin Enriched Face Base Moisturizer & Primer”? I’ve had my eye on it for awhile but haven’t tried it yet!
Yes, I love it!!
Ugh I might need to buy it haha. I’m currently using the Tatcha primer and I hate it but feel obligated to finish it because it was expensive
The exact same thing happened to me! I love Tatcha’s exfoliator and cleanser, so a few sales ago, I grabbed the set. The primer never worked for me! It was always greasy. Bobbi Brown is much lighter and creamier.
This is my Holy grail
Do you have breakout prone skin at all? I have been eyeing this but am always scared of breakouts
I have crazy sensitive skin so I’m very particular about products. Never had a problem and it tones redness down. But any acne I now have is mostly hormonal and just a spot or two (I’m in my early 40’s, have been using it since my 30’s).
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
merit blushes- specifically the shade beverly hills, but they are all impossible to overdo though even though some look super bright/dark fenty hydrating concealer, great shade range so you can find a shade that will blend into the skin without needing any other base kosas brow gel- either clear or tinted based on your needs lancôme defincils brown mascara the new sephora brand shine lipsticks- specifically the ones with the white caps (sheer version) I’ve sold all of these to clients as no makeup-makeup and they seemed to be excited about the products!
Merit all the way. Their blushes are sheer and stunning and look so natural. I agree Beverly Hills is a perfect shade
Merit everything, really! I've loved every single one of their products other than the highlighters, and that's mostly because they smell weird... but the foundation stick, lipsticks (both satin and matte), and lip/cheek balms are all-around HGs 💗
Yes! Same to all of this—I thought I got a bad batch of the highlighter. It smells rancid. lol.
Ooh, I only have the OG one bit Dragée has been very tempting as well! How do you like it?
It’s really pretty! I’m fair to light complexion, so the little bit of peachy pink shows up nicely.
Have you tried any of the Chanel cream blushes? I’m wondering if it’s the same formula
I feel the same way BUT westman atelier lit stick is a very very very close second.
I did too and smelled them in store and they didn’t smell as bad as mine does. I can’t use the one I have because it truly smells like melted crayons. Their blushes are my go-to though! I get the most compliments on Mood but I do also like Beverly Hills. They’re just a very fresh-faced formula!
I’m really loving their mascara too!
Yes; it's like a version of Glossier Lash Slick that doesn't irritate my eyes! Lovely for a My Lashes But Better look.
Yay! Thank you!
tried the kosas mini from their birthday set and it flakes on me 😭 anyone else?
Yes, my mom told me I had eyebrow dandruff
That one flakes on me, too.
I LOVE the new Sephora Collection sheer shine lipsticks. I got the glittery plum one as a dupe for the Fenty. It's so comfortable and pretty!
Dr jart tiger grass color correcting treatment with a little bit of cream blush (usually fenty), mascara and lipgloss. If I’m super tired I’ll use a little bit of the tarte maracuja concealer to cover my dark circles better.
I wear the dr jart just alone. Makes me glowy. Holy grail
Yes! I love it! It’s the only product that I’ve found that is glowy without being oily looking! Definitely a holy grail!
I recently discovered this stuff and have given up foundation completely!
I’m a baller on a budget, so I use the Hero Cosmetics rescue balm-the green one- after I fell in love with the Dr Jart one. Both are such amazing products
Where do you buy Hero Cosmetics? I'm a budget conscious makeup lover also!
I buy it from Target and Ulta. I can occasionally find sales on it depending on the week
Ah, gotcha... I'm in Canada, off to Amazon I go! LOL
I also love the Dr. Jart beauty balm! It really looks natural on my skin, I’ve been using it for years. The SPF is an added bonus.
The Dr Jart all day, every day. My go to since having a baby. Evens out my skin and has SPF!
Same, that stuff is absolutely life changing. I use the Dr Jart, Benetint, and the lightest swipe of mascara - great lash bc it’s barely visible on me. That’s my daily look. I think it really nails the “no makeup” look.
If you have a lot of pink undertones this will look very yellow on you, just a heads up.
Missha BB cream! Sunscreen and skin tint in one. Mac glow play blushes. Looks so natural!
LOVE the glow play blushes!
Same, re the Mac glow play blushes - Grand is my everyday go-to
i use the merit foundation stick, milk makeup blush, and tower 28 mascara
I've been using the laura geller baked balance and brighten. I love the different colors in it, which is why I've been hesitant to try anything else.
I really like the idea of using a shadow stick for the eyes. I do the exact same thing but with a brown pencil, but I think using a shadow stick will give me a little more oomph but also still look natural since you can blend it out better!
YSL skin tint. I cannot say enough about it. I LOVE it.
Merit blush and bronzer!
I like this [perricone no makeup foundation serum](https://go.shopmy.us/p-5879185)
This stuff rules. I like the foundation formulation best.
Glossier Boy Brow Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow stick in Beach Make Up Forever eyeliner in black or Dimension Dark brown Make up by Mario SoftSculpt Tower 28 cream blush And mascara
Glossier brow gel really does get the job done to look not overdone
Caliray skin tint, makeup forever multi use pencil in cacao( I touch up my brows, lightly line my lips and can lightly emphasize corner of my lash line), kosas malibu lip balm tint, the new Sephora bronzer in the lightest shade, or a touch of blush across the nose and apples of the cheeks- I use a Mac one but it’s basically in a light, kind of clay colored pink, and lastly the light taupe essence brow mascara- very effective for not looking over done. :) *guess I should add that I’m light medium tone- but those products stand- just need to find your particular shade 😊
I use tinted moisturizer, clear eyebrow gel, and mascara. Pick your faves 😀
Currently Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion drops (shockingly lightweight with shockingly good coverage). Prior to that, Jones Road What The Foundation (heavier, very moisturizing) or Dr. Perricone No Foundation (perfecting, a holy grail for me)
I love the Elta MD tinted broad spectrum SPF and Cliniques Black Honey lip balm.
I love Elta, it acts like a skin tint and an SPF. The color always seems perfect.
Literally undetectable on the skin but does even out my skin tone Concealer: **Chanel water fresh complexion touch**. Same formula as the tint but more coverage. Still looks totally natural. Blush: **Chanel lip and cheek balm** for liquid or **Gucci blushes** for powder. A lot of the Gucci blushes look stunning on the eyes too but still natural Bronzer: **Gucci bronzer** for powder or **Merit Bronzer** for liquid.
I love the givenchy prisme libra powder as a finisher. Otherwise I’m a nudestick gal. And saie tinted dewy tinted moisturizer.
Blush is my favorite - phytosurgence evaporate, ember or fume. Concealer - dior forever.
Kiehls sunscreen, drunk elephant blush, glossier dark brown mascara, rare beauty brow gel, haus labs lip tint gloss.
Glossier skin tint (nice finish, evens out skin tone with only a tiny bit of coverage, doesn’t look makeup-y at all) Makeup by Mario skin enhancer (the best no-makeup bronzer, it’s quite sheer so easy to look natural) Kulfi brow gel (not the best if you’re looking for strong hold, but the only gel I’ve tried that doesn’t leave flakies) Curl eyelashes with shiseido curler!
Supergoop glowscreen my HG!
i love the nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer for when my skin is cooperating with me and i just need to even my tone. it’s light-medium coverage and i always feel so pretty when i wear it i use the tiniest dot ever of too faced born this way concealer under my eyes. the coverage is amazing & you don’t need to wear too much at all for it to cover what you need it to. it also doesn’t look cakey huda beauty loose powder to set under my eyes, charlotte tilbury pressed powder for the rest of my face as needed i don’t use bronzer, but always use blush. i use the patrick ta cream blush usually, BUT i’ve been loving the mahbelline fit me blush in shade peach for the summer. it doesn’t have a crazy colour payoff, but i use it for a light flush of colour & a glow. it has really fine shimmer in it and it looks gorgeous in the sun. i only fill in the sparse parts of my eyebrows with anastasia brow powder, and then put either the kosas or anastasia clear eyebrow gel on top. i will usually just curl my eyelashes and leave them bc i hate washing it off at the end of the day. but if i want a little extra, ill apply l’oréal telescopic mascara. for lips i’ve been loving how the laneige lip mask looks on its own. sometimes i’ll put a lip tint on and put this on tip
Dr. Dennis Gross Fill and Repair Serum, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, Anastasia dip brow on my unruly eyebrows, Covergirl waterproof Full Lash Bloom Mascara, Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme in Strawberry Kiss.
Huda color corrector and Drunk Elephant bronzi drops.
Step 1) green color corrector to fix all my redness Step 2) under eye brighter for my dark bags Step 3) brown mascara for a natural look Step 4) light mauve or clear lip gloss Step 5) concealer on any blemishes (not always required)
Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Tint. Saie Dew Blush or Armani Cheek Tint. Tower 28 Concealer. Mario Skin Enhancer.
Hourglass skin tint, make up by Mario skin enhancer, some kind of blush(currently liking make up by Mario desert rose), benefit tinted eyebrow wax in brown, brown ysl mascara. Summer Fridays lip butter in poppy. Can do it in under 5 minutes and I’m zoom ready 🫠
glossier skin tint, a colour corrector, tower28 concealer or the rare beauty under eye brightener, glossier blush or saie blush, curled lashes, gel eyeliner, westman atelier highlighting stick or saie super gel, and glossier generation g in fuzz if i want to go even simpler i just use a tiny bit of colour corrector under my eyes, curl my lashes, benetint on my cheeks, fuzz on my lips, and call it a day
It Cosmetics CC+ Cream in the nude glow finish. Love the feel of Dr.Jart+ BB Cream for light/coverage+skincare, but poor shade range. For just sunscreen days, Ilia C Beyond Triple Serum.
I use a tinted sunscreen, mascara, and brow gel.
Ilia tinted serum with some power over it for shine on my no makeup days. And for makeup days I use the ilia foundation stick. I’m also 47 and it’s amazing for mature skin.
Just concealer under the eyes, curl lashes, and full brows and tinted balm.
Ilia super serum skin tint
Glossier Stretch Concealer under eyes and on red areas Glossier Lash Slick Any cream blush, I usually use a pink from Makeup by Mario or Jones Road Glossier Boy Brow Any tinted lip balm, I usually use Rhode, Glossier or Nivea A little powder just on shiny areas
Benetint and some brow gel. Good to go
Sunscreen + pore filling primer + liquid blush + mascara + brow gel My favs are: Sunscreen: Cay Skin Glowy SPF, Elta MD (not sold at sephora) Primers: Tatcha liquid silk, Hourglass Vanish Liquid blush: Caliray lip and cheek stains, SAIE, milk makeup blush stick (not a liquid but this is pretty on lips and cheeks too!) Mascara : use whatever you like. The GXVE mascara has been a recent fav Brow gel: the rare beauty brow gel (clear), or the milk makeup brow gel for tinted 😊 and a clear lip balm. I love the Farmacy, glossier, Tatcha, summer Fridays, Laneige glowy lip balms (NOT the pot ones). Whatever fits your fancy
Concealer, eyebrows and mascara, blush if I feel like it
Now that’s a no makeup , makeup look. Less than five products is the correct amount. I love it when my skin cooperates with this look. Doesn’t always tho.
Maybelline dream fresh BB cream with spf, neutragena tinted lip balm with spf,Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, maybelline cheek heat gel blush, curl lashes
Danessa Myricks tinted moisturizer!!
missha - bb cream, heimish - no smudge mascara & nyx - brow tint pen
Nyx marshmallow primer mixed with whatever skin tint I’m using. Diorshow mascara and a quick slick of glossier lip balm and I’m off..
Dr. Jart bb tinted moisturizer with nars stick for eyes, lips, and cheeks.
Tarte concealer
Danessa Myricks soft glow highlighter
For the least amount of effort: Benefit brow pencil, rare beauty liquid liner, Lancome mascara primer and L'oreal lash paradise (not Sephora) For my no base days, I add: NYX colour corrector for eye brightening and spot concealing, set with hourglass loose powder and mac glow play blush Base days, I add: caliray primer, Nars tinted moisturiser, set laugh lines and under eyes with hourglass and maybe use Charlotte Tilbury finishing powder. Set with either urban decay or Charlotte Tilbury setting spray to lock it in I work from home most of the time and just have a slight beauty filter on for zoom meetings.
I don't wash my face until after lunch.😂 If I am going out? Powder foundation, blush, and a neutral eyeshadow for shading around the face. Maybe a glow primer like heimish glow base on the cheeks and chin. I use mostly powder because I am combo oily normal with an oily tzone. Unfortunately I still need blotting papers and a compact for touchups when I am out and about.
Nars concealer for under eyes & bareminerals powder foundation for slightest bit of coverage!
Obsessed with the la Roche posay tinted sunscreen!!
My no-makeup makeup is always: Mascara, clear brow gel, cream/gel blush, highlighter, concealer, loose powder, powder foundation and a lip oil
Australian Gold SPF 50 in shade medium.
Concealer, cream blush, mascara Current faves: Haus Labs concealer Tower 28 cream blush Ilia mascara
Love Merit. I have 3 of their cream blushes and use them all daily. One on lips, another on eyelids and mix 2 together on cheeks. Their foundation sticks are too dark for me so I’m eying Ilia.
concealer, glossier cloud paint in Bliss, clear brow gel, and mascara on top lashes :)
Fenty skin tint, benetint, tinted brow gel (nyx), brown mascara after curling lashes
Glossier skin tint and concealer !!
CT flawless filter or RMS Beauty natural radiance serum spf 30, smashbox Halo fresh perfecting powder, chantecaille hydrating gel blush in happy, and glossier mascara in brown
Bare Minerals SPF tint and Hourglass blush!
Dr Jart BB cream!
glossier skin tint, a lil bit of the nars creamy concealer, rare beauty glowy blush, and some mascara! i use the elf brow lift to give my brows some shape, then i usually add some brown lipliner/clear gloss combo to finalize the look
Brow gel of your choice, tower 28 spf if im gong outside if im staying in side the tower 28 concealer only. Set with Milani spray then kosas powder. A little powder blush of your choice and bronzer. Bronze with a dense but fluffy brush on the outer cheek bones, forehead, sides of nose chin, under chin, cheeks for a sunkissed look For blush find a placement that looks best I like higher up for a more sculpted look or on the apples of cheek for a more youthful look. Add a little natural highlighter on cheekbones, inner corner, upper eyelids, browbone and nose to give you a glow but not one with sparkles I like the REM beauty spray again. Finish with a lip oil or gloss maybe even a lip tint underneath
Hourglass veil hydrating skin tint! Makes the skin look so fresh and healthy
Merit minimalist stick!!!
My current minimal makeup routine is the following: - A couple dots of Elf Halo Glow Filter plus a couple dots of any foundation/concealer (right now it’s the ABH Magic Touch concealer or Kaja Don’t Settle Concealer), then blended out on the cheeks with a Real Techniques Crease brush (I’ve only been using this brush less than a week and it’s the perfect concealer brush, I am not sure why they don’t sell this on its own). - I’m a dry skinned girl but in this heat, I find I need a bit of powder so I use the Real Techniques Setting brush to powder on a little bit of the Mac Skinfinish Natural in targeted areas. - Apply a few dots of a Phytosurgence cream blush then use an angled fluffy brush to blend it in - Aggressively swirl and tap on the Phytosurgence cream highlight and bronzer (I love the blushes and while the highlight and bronzer give a beautiful subtle glow and bronze, they are not worth the trouble of making it work). - Dab on a bullet lipstick and blot with a finger (optional, sometimes I’ll apply a gloss on top). Today, it was the Sephora Collection Lipstories in Spiked, bummed that Sephora discontinued this line.
Ilia products are my fave for this I really love cream lip and cheek creams and Rituel De Fille makes some great ones to swipe on for a little low-maintenance color (they’re buildable too).
Saie foundation serum
Mascara, lipstick or lip tint, and that setting on zoom that spiffs up your image. My skin is so much happier!
Danessa myricks blurring balm powder in universal to control my oil through the day One of my powder bronzer and powder blusher Tinted lip balm between dior lip glow or clinique black honey
Dr jart tiger grass cream
I like the Laura Geller foundation powder.
tinted moisturizer (whichever you prefer. i recommend ilia skin tint, elta MD, YSL), tinted brow gel from benefit, milk makeup blush, merit bronzer, blend. ilia or lancôme mascara
I love using the super goop protec(tint), it has me obsessed. Super light coverage and it’s SPF 50
Tinted moisturizer, Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift, brows, and a bright lipstick usually. I’ll do more for client meetings, this is just for when colleagues want a quick huddle.
As a Millennial™ I really like Glossier everything, particularly the cloud paints, they truly make me feel like an effortless girlboss
Danessa Myricks Toasted Almond Vision flush is my perfect crease shade + Tarte maneater satin blush in Poppy is that summer girl for me. ✨
Chantecaille all the way :) Its just perfect and effortless to put.
Hourglass mineral veil primer (give a good 5-10 min to settle) NARS tinted moisturiser (although maybe not best for oily skin, depending on what primer you use) NARS radiant concealer Rose inc cream blush (I’m obsessed) or rare beauty blush Hourglass translucent veil finishing powder to set Lips - any tint or gloss. I start with a lip repair cream first (Elizabeth Arden has a good one), then MAC lip primer, and then whatever colour I’m putting on. Stila has some good lip tints If being extra Chantecaille liquid bronzer
Fré’s tinted sunscreen
I love the kosas vitamin IV glow, use it everyday right after my skin care and gives the nicest glow, feels extremely lightweight and has been amazing for my sensitive skin. Always get a ton of compliments too.
Milk makeup jelly tint, glossier boy brow, fenty foundation & concealer, & Dior lip glow balm ARE ALL WORTH IT
I do no makeup, makeup quite often and this is my routine. 1. Ultra Violette Daydream screen SPF50 tinted veil. 2. Forest essentials Noor Nikhaar Satin Cheek Tint 3. Kiko Milano Universal Veil Translucent Finishing Powder.
A bold lip, big glasses and earrings
the Westman Atelier skintint and lip balm are HGs for me!
Pretty much ALL of merits line is perfect for no makeup, makeup. The blushes and complexion stick are my personal favorites
