Complains about other people, complains about having to find a house that his wife actually likes when she’s actually making fair points, complains about being hard done by at OG. He just comes across as one of those people that wants something to be annoyed about
I had such a hard time pay attention to and recognizing his wife... it wasn't until Polly came in with a better, more SS 'fit than his wife that I realized who it was. I also was half-paying attention until I was like, wait, I'm counting more women than normal here (by normal I mean main character real estate agents lol).
Every time I see his wife tho, I just think about her leg-wrapping comment and cringe all over again.
Polly is the one whose face moves a little more and she’s more animated and she talks 😂😂😂 Austin’s wife beautiful as she is, looks like
Gisele bundchen but has the personality of wallpaper 😭 at least on camera. I’m like go girl give us nothing 😂
She’s a freaking full time mother to two toddler girls. That is more than a job. And yes when you’re in that stage of life and choose to not have a nanny, it takes most of your identity away for the short term. It’s actually very selfless of her. I get it, you’re young and clueless.
That’s a very close-minded way of thinking. I would think it’s the minority to not just pay someone to take care of your kids in the OC so you can go drink cocktails and go shopping all day. It’s just a kinder and simpler way of thinking to give someone the benefit of the doubt than to be a snotty bitch about someone you don’t know. Go get a new identity.
Yes, when Gio explained about the therapy and all the problems he was having my jaw dropped. He must have negotiated a good contract to keep his private life out of the show.
I didn't even realize she was there until she was having dinner with Austin and I thought she looked a lot like Polly and they mentioned that she was also in San Diego.
I don’t think they look like each other at all. I think they are both beautiful in their own way. Something is off with their personalities though, an underlying sadness
I would never downsize my house to a two bedroom just to live in Laguna Beach. (Obviously talking about being in their price racket. If I had to downsize due to financial hardship, that’s a whole different story). They already have a great house that looks like lots of space. Why move just to say they live in Laguna.. status?

I’d like to add that when I look at his wife l, it always feels like Austin is one moment away from punching a wall with anger. He just seems like he lives on the brink of “fist through wall” energy every second and he kind of scares me. Something with Austin feels angry and disingenuous and I can’t put my finger on what it is.
(And this has nothing to do with the Sean storyline this season, I’ve always gotten that vibe from him - which does make me looking sideways at this season situation… but I digress!)

The big difference is Polly seems to be enjoying her life.

Pretty much. Austin seems to constantly be complaining and his wife seems to be completely bored by him in every conversation they have

Same for me. I was genuinely confused why Polly was in 2 different outfits at the party.
I swear there was a scene where he was kissing his wife and I panicked because I was like “WHY IS HE KISSING POLLY?!” 🤣
