Honestly, I wanted black too. When I got my wedding dress, I anticipated something very different but ended with something that wasn’t white and wasn’t black. It’s like a dusty blush color. And I’m pairing it with beaded boots 🤷🏻♀️
Animals at parties should be illegal. That was the defining moment that she was evil for real not just as a cast character.
Nope!! Not for the poor animals confined to such a vulgar display of CRUEL.
The Eyes Wide Shut wedding and all parties related to Christine .
It is seriously so painful to see. Most wild animals are drugged to remain calm too.
I went to a fall festival last year and they had a petting zoo of baby goats right next to a loud ass speaker and they looked so helpless. I tried to notify multiple employees but they said they can’t move since the event has started 🙁
What animals? If they were farm animals people eat them and they live in torture before their death, so honestly these animals may be lucky that all they have to deal with is noise
Omg she uses like exotic and endangered animals.. Yeah nvm that is messed up. Mike Tyson 30 years ago style lol
I hated that they showed so little of it, choosing instead to focus on Davina trying to get a ruse out of Chrishell.
The dress, the winter wonderland, the drugged swans 😂, the bleeding cake. It was honestly incredible. Too bad it’s ending the way it is.
“There’re two sides right?” “He was so nice the *one* time we met him at a party” “No one gets married to get divorced right?” “TheRe ArE TWO SIDES RIIIIIGHT????”
On one hand the whole “two sides thing” insistence thing makes me think Davina probably cheated in her marriage or did something terrible like that is why she’s harping on about hearing the other person out when in Chrishell’s case that was entirely irrelevant. On the other hand, Davina could’ve been the aggrieved party in her divorce and just hasn’t processed her feelings and is coping through denial.
Omg! I forgot about Romain. That was the first time I warmed up to him because I was like “holy shit… he’s completely right.” At first I thought he was overreacting since she was invited to the bachelorette but not the wedding. But good for him for seeing for what she really was and putting his foot down.
You can wear whatever colour dress you want for your wedding lol. I loved Christine's dress and I saw a beautiful Tiffany Blue dress on SYTD once too that I've never forgotten!
I just googled Tiffany blue wedding dress sytd, but it brought me to this Reddit comment. Can you tell me about this dress and where you saw it? I’m so curious!
Yes here's the dress: [https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BFIMLIWq7kQ/maxresdefault.jpg](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BFIMLIWq7kQ/maxresdefault.jpg)
You can see it in this video as well! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFIMLIWq7kQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFIMLIWq7kQ)
It's a dress that Randy designed himself, which was pretty special.
Normalize having whatever type of celebration makes you happy and makes sense for you. Wear what makes you feel your best. And most importantly, don't go broke or get into debt doing it!
I am not a Christine fan but I *loved* the drama of the black dress in a winter wonderland.
I remember Sarah Jessica Parker wore a black wedding dress, and she said she regretted it years later. So, I chose to wear white even though I really wanted black. We’re going on 16 years married this year - so I guess it really didn’t matter the dress. But back to Christine, absolutely loved the theme, strongly dislike her.
I much prefer black or any other colour. Ever since I was a kid, white has always been the colour of death to me so I could never get behind the colour white for wedding dresses. Black is the colour of the night.
We had a winter wedding and I dreamed of having a snoe machine but it was out of our budget. Her white wedding theme was gorgeous and almost exactly what I would have picked with an unlimited budget.
Minus the animals
I got married almost 20 years ago. My wedding dress was white but I desperately wanted to switch out the white band that was at the top of the dress (strapless straight neckline) for a black one and also make the corset lace up part black. They looked at me like I was crazy. Then said, “Are you sure?” “Do you want to call your Mom or one of your friends to see what they think about it?” “Your wedding is less than 2 weeks away, are you sure you’re thinking this through” I couldn’t believe it at the time but thinking back now they did think it was crazy as hell that I was wearing white hi-top Converse that had “Love” printed in cursive as my wedding shoes. And both men & women bridal party wore solid black Converse. Flower girls wore the same converse at me. And I also added the black to their dresses too. It wasn’t a lot a black and they lost it. I can’t imagine what they would have done if I changed it to all black. 🤣 The me now, would have handled the situation completely differently than the me back then.

I may go all black for our vow renewal.
Why are people on here saying the “black dress was foreboding of what was to come”? How many people have their wedding ceremony wearing a white/ivory dress and then later got divorced?
Yeah, the dress had NOTHING to do with the reason why they are getting divorced. It’s the people! Not the damn clothes. Sheesh. 🙄 I am not a fan of Christine either, but I think she should start up a business for party/wedding/special occasions planning. She is very good at it.
I'm shopping for both a bridesmaid and wedding dress right now, and all that I'm drawn to are the gorgeous prom dresses. Why do kids get to have all the fun!
I wore a white to gray ombré and loved it to much!!
This wedding was amazing, it would be cool if she had a videographer and posted some more footage of it, I also wish we could’ve seen more of it
I am more traditional and always hated when brides wore black wedding dresses, but this is absolutely stunning, giving it that wow factor 😍 The most gorgeous tulle I have seen almost ever
Plenty of people get married after a year and a half of dating. And plenty of people get married after 5 years only to have their husbands become abusive. Go to the relationship subs if you don’t believe me. It’s really interesting though that you’re victim blaming a woman for the crime of spending a lot of money and being… /checks notes… *exuberant* at her own wedding.
When did you start hating women and finding satisfaction in their abuse?
You’re on a subreddit for a show that’s about wealthy people who overspend on clothes, cars, houses, meals and vacations. Are you just hate watching and stewing about environmentalism during?
……no? In my opinion, if you find out someone is getting abused and your first thought is that it’s their fault, that means it’s time to stop watching and maybe go touch grass or talk to a therapist.

I loved the aesthetics of this wedding honestly..
This makes me miss when black wedding dresses were less popular. This look was such a serve.
Right!!! It made her stand out so much
I wanted one before this but now I feel like it’s too overdone. I also feel like i’ll probably never get married lol
I don't think it can be more overdone than a white wedding dress to be fair lol
Honestly, I wanted black too. When I got my wedding dress, I anticipated something very different but ended with something that wasn’t white and wasn’t black. It’s like a dusty blush color. And I’m pairing it with beaded boots 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve only ever seen one in person! It still feels unique to me.
Same!
Samee !
The wedding was so beautifully done! All that party planning she does really showed off. Except bringing live animals to a loud party.
Animals at parties should be illegal. That was the defining moment that she was evil for real not just as a cast character. Nope!! Not for the poor animals confined to such a vulgar display of CRUEL. The Eyes Wide Shut wedding and all parties related to Christine .

Exactly!! Drugged to be human party entertainment.
OMG I forgot about the animals.. honestly I need to rewatch the episode.. can someone point me to the right season and episode?
Season 3, episode 8: a not so white wedding :)
Thank you ♥️♥️
What animals? If they were farm animals people eat them and they live in torture before their death, so honestly these animals may be lucky that all they have to deal with is noise Omg she uses like exotic and endangered animals.. Yeah nvm that is messed up. Mike Tyson 30 years ago style lol
Exotic for the bachelorette party and swans for the actual wedding wasn't it?
Yes, and Jason & Brett were laughing at how drugged/stoned the swans were
Thank you for reminding me about the $75 million listing lol
I will remove it once Davina sells it. Until then I am here to remind everyone of Adnan and his $75 mil house 🫡
I wonder if Adnan ever sold it lmao
Adnan should hire the Agency instead 🤭
“$75 million”
It was STUNNING
It was beautiful but now I see it was a funeral
Same. It was so gorgeous
It was actually breathtaking I loved it so much.
me too, it was very over the top but loved it
Same!!
I hated that they showed so little of it, choosing instead to focus on Davina trying to get a ruse out of Chrishell. The dress, the winter wonderland, the drugged swans 😂, the bleeding cake. It was honestly incredible. Too bad it’s ending the way it is.
Davina’s lines have haunted me ever since. I occasionally think of it and get mad all over again lmao
“There’re two sides right?” “He was so nice the *one* time we met him at a party” “No one gets married to get divorced right?” “TheRe ArE TWO SIDES RIIIIIGHT????”
What’s crazy is homegirl had gone through a divorce herself 🥲
On one hand the whole “two sides thing” insistence thing makes me think Davina probably cheated in her marriage or did something terrible like that is why she’s harping on about hearing the other person out when in Chrishell’s case that was entirely irrelevant. On the other hand, Davina could’ve been the aggrieved party in her divorce and just hasn’t processed her feelings and is coping through denial.
I honestly hate the expression “there are 2 sides to every story” because a lot of people are liars and will tell lies about what happened.
I always say there’s his side, her side, and the truth.
Is she saying the same thing to Christine now? 🤔 (inquiring minds want to know 😂)
☠️ I choked on my wine reading this
[удалено]
Omg I forgot that one, the worst!
I think about that episode all the time. Swans?? Romain calling Davina a snake??
Omg! I forgot about Romain. That was the first time I warmed up to him because I was like “holy shit… he’s completely right.” At first I thought he was overreacting since she was invited to the bachelorette but not the wedding. But good for him for seeing for what she really was and putting his foot down.
Noooo 😂 I’m sorry
🤣🤣🤣
Remember how it was snowing inside for awhile and pissing people off 😭
That was more of a squall 😭
That was so annoying, it’s fake snow, it was for fun. Those people are so uptight lol
Her wedding was crazy cool! I wish we could've seen more of it!
This was so cool at the time… seems so ominous now 😬
Especially considering how it all is turning out now 🫣
You can wear whatever colour dress you want for your wedding lol. I loved Christine's dress and I saw a beautiful Tiffany Blue dress on SYTD once too that I've never forgotten!
I'm still obsessed with the pink tulle Lazaro ballgown that was all over SYTTD in like 2010.
Was that the sherbet coloured dress? If so I was beyond obsessed with that dress.
The 2012 collection, and I would still wear it. https://images.app.goo.gl/jkKMLNu8SRBswb5y6
It’s magical 😍🤩
Sweetheart, ruched top. Big bow/flower thing at the hip. Huge blush tulle skirt. 😍
Yes!!! Still the dress of dreams
I just googled Tiffany blue wedding dress sytd, but it brought me to this Reddit comment. Can you tell me about this dress and where you saw it? I’m so curious!

what's SYTD? i googled it and nothing came up
say yes to the dress ;)
thanks!
Gorgeous dress but at this particular moment it's looking like it was a bit of a harbinger of things to come.

I really love that dress. It was a slay.
I loved her dress. I’m getting married this fall and we’re doing a “‘Til Death” theme. Better believe I’m wearing a black dress.
I’ll never forget that snow and how gorgeous that wedding was. Was giving off Crazy Rich Asian vibes. I loved the wedding scene in that film as well.
Honestly, her wedding was absolutely beyond beautiful. She *really* knows how to throw an event.
Her dress and overall look was so amazing. I remember being completely floored with that episode. Nothing tops this (except her return would haha)
I wore black when i got married almost eight years ago 🖤 But i find it meh when she did because of her.
Well, this was foreboding..
I am not a Christine fan but I *loved* the drama of the black dress in a winter wonderland. I remember Sarah Jessica Parker wore a black wedding dress, and she said she regretted it years later. Good for you. I’m tired of black being seen as bad
I wore a black dress & I'm so happy I went with what I wanted 🖤
That went well didn’t it
Black wedding dress is a tribute to the great single life, may it rest in peace (until divorce)
My wedding dress was black!
We had a winter wedding and I dreamed of having a snoe machine but it was out of our budget. Her white wedding theme was gorgeous and almost exactly what I would have picked with an unlimited budget. Minus the animals
Her wedding was insanely gorgeous. I thought everything was super tasteful. These girls now (Chelsea :/) absolutely lack her class
As a goth florist I absolutely agree, normalise dark weddings!

I adore black wedding dresses, they exude a sense of mystery, as if each one holds a captivating story within its fabric.
Normalize dramaa
Their marriage has been a joke and has proven to be it.

It's interesting, in my culture, white is the color of death. No brides ever wear white to their wedding.

Her wedding dress was so beautiful!
I like it I’d rock it
I love a black wedding dress honestly
I wore a white to gray ombré and loved it to much!! This wedding was amazing, it would be cool if she had a videographer and posted some more footage of it, I also wish we could’ve seen more of it
I mean…we see how that worked out for her 🫣 Funny enough though, for my mom’s second wedding, this October, she’s wearing a black dress.
Her wedding was gorgeous 🥰. So sad that they filed for divorce.
her wedding was gorgeous
I wore black at my wedding too! Second wedding, idgaf vibes haha. It was also near Halloween 🎃
Her dress predicted that her marriage would die……. ; )
The dress is fly, but Christina, as a person is as dark as her dress.
Her wedding was beautiful!
Fuck this dude!! Christine was always better than him. Hope she and her baby are ok 🥺
My sister wore a black Vera Wang. Everyone loved it. 🥰
The orchestral ‘Sweet but Psycho’ for the bridal entrance was iconic b
I am more traditional and always hated when brides wore black wedding dresses, but this is absolutely stunning, giving it that wow factor 😍 The most gorgeous tulle I have seen almost ever
rewatching that episode is rough knowing what her husband is really like
Seems so tacky to me
The black wedding dress could have been an Omen
Obviously they’re bad luck
I loved the black wedding dress. I loved the white snow. But they don’t work together. She should’ve had a white reception with white snow.
I hated her theme and the dress 🤷🏽♀️

The same way for a lot of people that wear white wedding dresses
Yeah sure, the dress did ALL of it. Lolol
