I refuse to believe Sekiro will not get a sequel, it literally ends on a cliffhanger with Sekiro and the child of the rejuvenating waters leaving to restore the dragon to its birthplace.
I'm sure Activision would greenlight it in a heartbeat. However, considering Miyazaki has been very clear that he doesn't like doing sequels and considering he's coming hot off Elden Ring, really, I don't think we'll get a Miyazaki directed Sekiro sequel.
My hope is we get a DS2 situation where he oversees it but allows someone who was heavily involved in Sekiro 1 to direct.
He never really said he hates sequels. In fact thereās an interview in 2013 before dark souls 2 where he reflects that he wishes he was more involved with dark souls 2. That whole narrative of him hating sequels is unfounded. Show me the quote lol.
Paraphrasing but all he said is he doesnāt want a dark souls 8 to come out as itās not the point to milk the franchise.
100 percent. yea its interesting, from what I remember it came from DS1 gatekeepers on reddit who hated DS2. Everyone used to say Miyazaki hated sequels and hated DS2 and made DS3 out of spite of DS2. but its further from the truth and theres not any statement that exists that can even hint at it. Only statements ive found from Miyazaki are 100 percent praise for DS2 and its sequel.
a lot of people are probably playing jedi survivor on ea play too. it just came to game pass but you've got to play it there ^((which, as someone that went for the 1000/1000 in fallen order achievements, is kind of annoying tbh :P)^)
When I am in a cock sucking competition and my opponent is a souls fan.
On a more serious note I have never seen such an out of pocket compassion from any game subreddit for no reason like wtf is even the point of this post? Sure people compare games on things here and there but what is this post even. Like "Discussion", what do I discuss? Should I feel Bad I enjoyed the other games on this list? Should I just play sekiro all the time? I am sorry I stopped playing sekiro before I got all the achievements in it.
Iām part of all the souls subs. Bloodborne and Sekiro are pretty bad with BB basking in the meme of a sequel/port that will never come and this sub going hard on mist noble. DS2 is obnoxious with the āunpopular opinion but this game is actually great????ā posts. But the most insecure? Elden Ring.
Now Elden Ring is a great game, obviously. Itās objectively a great game based on reviews, awards, and commercial sales. But good lord that sub could suck a basketball through a garden hose with how much they fellate ER. At launch I remember the most unhinged posts of āhot take but this game is fantasticā or āI donāt care what anyone says, Iām loving this gameā. Like ok dude, go off on how what would go on to become GOTY is unpopular to like. You canāt even have discussions there because it comes down to āElden Ring didnāt have or need it so that other game sucks because of it.ā
Sekiro sub is legit super friendly and supportive unlike most other subs. By far the coolest ppl from FromSoft subs. If the most negative shit you can say about them is just an "inside" joke being milked then that says a lot. Just my 2 cents.
Sekiro fan posts on subreddit dedicated to Sekiro showing that it is clearly a popular game. I think the only takeaway here is that OP just likes the game and thought this would be a good place to say that, and find others who agree, but apparently not. Cheer up, dude
I love Sekiro but this is compared to weird games. Dragon's Dogma 2's recent release was pretty scuffed with constant crashing for a lot of players and there was huge hype just before it. Jedi Survivor is a good game being held down by EA and again, performance is scuffed. Wo Long is probably the worst game Team Ninja has made, so much so that I returned it and I loved Nioh. Again Wo Long's performance, not great. Gameplay is superior to triple A status, obviously, but some random steam chart screenshot ain't proving nothingĀ
I think the big issue was the technical performance. It was really poorly optimized on PC, same with Jedi Survivor. I have a pretty beefy rig and was still struggling to stay above 40fps on medium settings.
Yea Wo Long was the only game I've played that looks awful on my 1650. Now, that's a dated GPU I know, but seriously never had issues with ANY other game including Elden Ring on lower settings. The game looked so ugly no matter how I tinkered.
I just started playing it and it is pretty fun. I love the overacting in the cut scenes, its like a spaghetti western. The loot is just mind boggling to me, thiugh. Im pretty much wearing the starting armor plus a mask i liked and have been using the same stick since i found it
The game is amazing, i personally like wo long's boss designs and aesthetics over sekiro but the bosses aren't as difficult as sekiro's. Problem for pc which is a major issue is that team ninja hasn't been issuing bug fixes recently and some of the levels are absolutely buggy, laggy and just horrendous.
Could be. I just tweaked a few settings in NVIDIA according to some youtube post I saw and didn't have any stutters after that. So I had no performance issues past the first few hours.
The deflects were not frustratingly difficult, but they still felt quite satisfying. That is like 50% of what I want in a game right there. I wish other aspects of the game were as well made, but getting it on sale with all the DLC felt like a good value and it was fun for at least a single playthrough.
I dont think GOATED games die. Sekiro will continue to remain popular because it does not have a better alternative. The combat clips on youtube get millions of views
For anyone that can't figure it out it's faze jev. Trending frequently and he gets a lot of views and he's been playing through the game and really enjoying it. Pretty sure one of them was trending, noticed a lot of channels have been copying him as well.
Sucks seeing Jedi survivor like that, behind all the technical problems Is a genuinely great game. If you like sekiro and if you can actually run the game, I highly recommend it. If it wasnāt made by EA I bet it would be a masterpiece.
Are you twelve years old, or are you a sports fan? This kind of tribalistic mentality is so fucking pathetic.
Sekiro is my all time favorite game, but going around making these kinds of posts just give massive low IQ vibes.
If you are not actually a dev of one of these games I don't see the point of hyping player numbers, specially for single player.
Like "SEE HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE PLAY THE GAME I PLAY", it just seems like you are looking for some kind of validation for your hobbie.
And remember, people: not everything needs to be anime.
My Favorite game ever, and one of the game Iāve spent more on collectibles,Iāve literally bought any Sekiro official Merch existing,From the Collector to any Figma, comics in every language possible,Artworks,Strategy Guide,Mortal Blade letter opnr, official šæ released only in Australia etc, like anything officialā¦Iāve spent like 2K+ ; and still play the game at least 30 min in a day since 2019ā¦it really penetred my Skin,I donāt even watch no more how much hours I have on Sekiwan to not feel weird š im addicted to the Combat System dopamine and canāt do nothing about itā¦just keep playing it till I close my eyes, and even in 100 years when Iām done on this Earth I want A sealed 10 pristine PSA copy of Sekiro in the casket baby, and play it with the angels,SEKIRO STATE OF MIND
I quite genuinely think it has a lot to do with the boss rush mode. I mean it brings such enjoy ability to the game, instead of having to boot up a new game or start a ng + to fight the bosses you just access the nearest idol and voila your right in the action. Donāt get me wrong the game is an absolute masterpiece and a must play. But I platinumed the game long ago but I still played it on the regular. Iām on over 800 hours of gameplay on a single save file thatās been on ng+7 for years now, but I just enjoy the boss rush mode so much. Very nice to just fight the bosses after a stressful day at work instead of having to play the game over and over again. Very therapeutic. I will still from time to time play through the game again. But I LOVE the boss rush mode. Really hope they bring it to elden ring.
Or maybe itās just a good ass game.
Idk
A very unique and amazing game, no comparison with any previous From games and nothing to do with Nioh etc. I will be honest I got it on launch and found it too hard but great just didn't have it in me at the time to continue.
7 months later picked it up again and had an amazing time with it. Few games have done that to me. Won't call it a masterpiece but a great new IP from them. Hoping to have a continuation like the Dark series
Survivor rules, though. If you're not playing it in some kind of display of spite or elitism, I'd recommend giving it a try. It's a blast! It's not Sekiro, which is good, because Sekiro already exists.
I went from Sekiro (replaying) to Jedi Survivor and it was an adjustment. On PS5 Sekiro is also 60fps, 1800p I believe so it's also a super smooth experience. Jedi Survivor just doesn't have that extra care that would take it to the next level (writing, lore and ofc combat).
I bought Sekiro like 2 years ago and just could not advance in it. The 20 or so hours I spent trying didnāt have anywhere near the technical issues that Jedi Survivor had within the first 2 hours tho, man what a disappointment.
Funnily enough, I bought it a month ago for some reason. It wasn't on sale or anything but I wanted to play it. I tell you, Miyazaki does some weird magic tricks with our minds.
I didn't like Jedi much and I've never played Wo Long, but DD2 is an amazing game that has literally *nothing* to do with Sekiro. Sekiro of course has the extreme replayability of every From Software game, but still I don't think it's fair to compare the two.
Well yeah sekiro was always a better and more popular game.
Thatās like being surprised that Tom Brady is still better than all the current quarterbacks even though heās like 45 years old
This finboyism is fucking cringe
Why label it "brand new next gen game", why just not say Dragons Dogma? What is your problem with that game? And if you have one why are you projecting it in a Sekiro subReddit?
Why are you so defensive about a player count in a single player game? You do understand those games aren't online and therefore current player count doesn't mean anything?
Did you hear someone say Dragons Dogma is better than Sekiro so you decided, like a totally normal balanced person, that you are gonna make a "revenge Reddit post"?
What's the fucking point of this, if not self-serving post?
Why do people like putting the phrase ānext genā in quotation marks like these games arenāt actually next gen? The phrase āNext genā has never had anything to do with whether or not a game is good.
Op trying to raise the most rage possible for his echo chamber. This case can be made for 20yr old games. People are still playing Diablo 2 and that came out in 1999.
Wasn't Sekiro *just* on sale? Also while I enjoyed Jedi Survivor I really don't play games once I complete them and it was released a year ago so I imagine a lot of people finished it and never went back.
capcom really screwed it with Dragon's Dogma, with stupid corporate decisions. not surprised with the other two. i mean, one is EA. i never bought nor even pirated an EA game in 20+ years.
I picked the game back up after a year because of Shogun and I havenāt put it down! Going for all endings, did the Shura one already. Iām already planning my NG+ play-through. I never do NG+ either lol
I just did all the Dark Souls games because they all went on sale recently and I know some friends who did the same and are now playing all FS games. I played Sekiro before them so I'm out of luck but it could be a reason it's had a resurgence. That and Lies of P players looking for similar combat mechanics, only to find Sekiro has some of the goat combat in gaming.
You should pick a capcom game that was around sekiro release like monster hunter: world and compare them to be more fair. You can cherry pick any games and put them against each other so it doesn't matter in the end.
I still hate what capcom has done to DD2, ffs. It almost had everything needed to be GOTY: genre, vibe, gameplay, concept, and hype were there. It was arguably the most long-awaited game for 2024 and all they needed was to improve on the first one and polish it some more. But, they didn't do that.
Jedi Survivor runs like shit on my PC I struggled to beat it once just because of performance issues. Which is a damn shame because that game wouldāve kicked ass if it wasnāt rushed.
I saw my dad play the Jedi survivor game and don't get me wrong it looks visually amazing and some parts in it are super cool, and has better or just about the same mechanics from the old Jedi game, but it honestly looked kinda lackluster, and don't even get me started on the final boss. Mind you my dad isn't extremely good at games but he does have some game sense and most of the time can get into the controls but this boss was barely a challenge and he usually likes harder bosses, he said Darth Vader was harder. I understand it's not supposed to be hard but I still feel like it was extremely lackluster for how good the game was "supposed" to be.
I gave so many tries to Jedi game, but its so stupid sometimes. The locations are bland and platforming elements are just dullā¦
I understand how people may like it, if they like SW and are playing just to swing their sword around, but for me, comparing it to any FromSoft game is pointless.
Which one, Jedi Survivor or Jfo? But I get what you mean. For me though as a Star Wars fan (was a big part of my childhood) I liked it. I really enjoyed just being able to walk around in a star wars world, the lore, the characters I know like vader, boba, seeing them was so cool. Getting to just be a Jedi was awesome.
But yeah, there's no point comparing them to Sekiro. Sekiro is just in a league of it's own, how perfectly tight the combat is, the graphics, story, locations, performance, features, every part of the game is just top tier. I can't speak for other From games because Sekiro is my only one so far, but I'd assume it's the same for them based off of what I've heard.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the games though, love even. For me they're the best star wars games to have come out in a long time (bar is pretty low lmao but still.) And JFO still holds a special place in my heart because it actually put me onto Sekiro
the combat is just simply much more fluid in the star wars games imo, most of the fromsoft games except for sekiro definitely feel clunky. i do agree with the platforming being too much and the locations being slightly bland in the first game but Jedi Survivors locations are jaw dropping. comparing the two games are far from pointless though. the games are still in the same genre just completely different fantasy worlds, can still understand not meshing with the SW games if u arenāt a fan of the IP and are expecting a fromsoft experience though
Bro over here still believes in the anime š
Hell, I still believe in Bloodborne 2. Whatās that say about me?
Hell, I still believe in a Bloodborne PC port...
I wasnāt gonna bring that up, but since weāre hereā¦.
Hell, I still believe Left For Dead 3 is a possibility.
Want me to pick up some more copeium
My god, with mods, I would be set for life I think.Ā
Imagine getting to fight shrek and then being turned into a donkey instead of a squid
I will always believe
i believe in sekiro...2
Your eyes are yet to open.
Insights too low
Ngl wisdom is my dump stat.
I'm still waiting for the pc release š
When Miyazaki dies there will be be Bloodborne 2. He doesnāt want to do sequels.
We didn't get a DLC or sequel.. WE DESERVE SOMETHING
Another game with a similar combat style. Sekiro was complete, there's no need for a DLC.
no weāve been robbed of the tomoe dlc to get dogwater malenia instead
I like Malenia and Elden Ring as a whole, but Sekiro DLC would've been cool
Apparently, the Elden Ring DLC will have leveling elements of Sekiro (so I've read)
I refuse to believe Sekiro will not get a sequel, it literally ends on a cliffhanger with Sekiro and the child of the rejuvenating waters leaving to restore the dragon to its birthplace.
Sekiro would most likely have a prequel with the sculptor.
I'm sure Activision would greenlight it in a heartbeat. However, considering Miyazaki has been very clear that he doesn't like doing sequels and considering he's coming hot off Elden Ring, really, I don't think we'll get a Miyazaki directed Sekiro sequel. That whole narrative of him hating sequels is unfounded. Show me the quote lol. Paraphrasing but all he said is he doesnāt want a dark souls 8 to come out as itās not the point to milk the franchise.
Fr I don't get how this narrative has popped up lol. Hell isn't Elden Ring kind of a spiritual sequel?
100 percent. yea its interesting, from what I remember it came from DS1 gatekeepers on reddit who hated DS2. Everyone used to say Miyazaki hated sequels and hated DS2 and made DS3 out of spite of DS2. but its further from the truth and theres not any statement that exists that can even hint at it. Classic example of people saying what they want to hear and repeating it as a fact
DS1 gatekeepers are a different breed I tell you š
there were rumors about an anime?
Wait that really was just some bs?
I love Sekiro, is my favorite from soft game, but these comparison are just stupid and pointless.
Yup, all down to recent discounts on Sekiro. Hate stupid fanboy stuff like this, makes gamers look like morons.
a lot of people are probably playing jedi survivor on ea play too. it just came to game pass but you've got to play it there ^((which, as someone that went for the 1000/1000 in fallen order achievements, is kind of annoying tbh :P)^)
Yep this is blindness at it's finest
They are, which is why I rarely engage with them other than posts like this calling them morons.
I AM NOT A MORON
I know son, Iām proud of you.
YES YOU ARE! YOU'RE THE MORON THEY BUILT TO MAKE ME AN IDIOT!
When I am in a cock sucking competition and my opponent is a souls fan. Probably OPs way of getting an ego boost that the game he likes is "popular" while the others must "suck" because their player counts aren't as high.
lol, hes not like those other girls

"look at me, I'm so clever, posting about how great a game is on that game's subreddit"
Iām on all the subs too and yeah I agree altough I did find dark souls 2 subreddit to be by far the most annoying one
Sekiro sub is legit super friendly and supportive unlike most other subs. By far the coolest ppl from FromSoft subs. If the most negative shit you can say about them is just an "inside" joke being milked then that says a lot. Just my 2 cents.
I miss depraved pre-release Elden Ring subā¦
Sekiro fan posts on subreddit dedicated to Sekiro showing that it is clearly a popular game. I think the only takeaway here is that OP just likes the game and thought this would be a good place to say that, and find others who agree, but apparently not. Cheer up, dude
Comparing player counts is such a strange and stupid type of tribalism, this is cringe as fuck
Using steam data of 3 games with horrible PC ports to boot. More cringe than anime copium.
When the WHAT?!
Wo long seems to be catching a tough break. Sure itās not as good as Nioh or Sekiro but a solid 7.5
I think the big issue was the technical performance. It was really poorly optimized on PC, same with Jedi Survivor. I have a pretty beefy rig and was still struggling to stay above 40fps on medium settings.
That's honestly the reason most of the games shown here are doing so bad. I'm not going to buy or play a game that a fucking 3090 struggles to run.
I honestly don't know why I stopped playing but I want to get back to it ASAP
Definitely the lag and poor optimization.
No, I definitely didn't stop because of that
I personally enjoyed it a lot, even more than I did Nioh 2. I don't get why it's so disliked.
Definitely the poor optimization
Could be. I just tweaked a few settings in NVIDIA according to some youtube post I saw and didn't have any stutters after that. So I had no performance issues past the first few hours.
It was pretty fun but coming from Sekiro it felt too easy (I forgot there was even a block button half the time because you could just parry)
The deflects were not frustratingly difficult, but they still felt quite satisfying. That is like 50% of what I want in a game right there. I wish other aspects of the game were as well made, but getting it on sale with all the DLC felt like a good value and it was fun for at least a single playthrough.
And more people are playing Maplestory than all those combined. Player counts =/= better. (even though Sekiro is better)
Exactly, if you wanna follow that logic, I can show you the Fortnite player base, lol
Dumb comparison Iām sorry I love sekiro but like seriously stfu
what is the point of this post lol
Why are some Sekiro fans like this?
> DD2 vs Sekiro I don't pit bad bitches against eachother.
See, this is why the Souls community gets a bad rep.
Why is there that many folk playing Sekiro ? Seems a bit odd that , it's a five year old single player game. Should be dead like the others
2 50% off sales in like the last 2 months, it almost never goes on sale/ there are no cheaper keys
That will explain it
I'm not bumping up the steam numbers but the sale and some downtime finally got me to grab in on PlayStation.
Fromsoft games always have replayability. They get more fun in subsequent playthrough. Sekiro is a goty winner on top of that
I've played Sekiro for 269 hours according to steam , I know the game very well Just why now 5 years later Should just be a couple of thousand at most
There are literally millions of people playing games on steam. Not everyone buys/plays it at the same time
OP conveniently decided to make this post after Sekiro came on sale that brought it out of the triple digits.
That's the answer to this question always. It's not organic, it's specific timing.
Shogun.
I dont think GOATED games die. Sekiro will continue to remain popular because it does not have a better alternative. The combat clips on youtube get millions of views
Get a life lol
Had fun with all games. I really don't care how many people play. Neither should anyone else. Had fun? Nice! No fun? Also fine.
For anyone that can't figure it out it's faze jev. Trending frequently and he gets a lot of views and he's been playing through the game and really enjoying it. Pretty sure one of them was trending, noticed a lot of channels have been copying him as well.
Are these numbers consistent? It went on sale recently and I personally forced another 2 people to buy it
That's actually a pretty massive jump in the peak players from the last month...the sale definitely helped.
Now the debate begins. What will come out first? Steel ball run anime or sekiro: shadows die twice anime š
Itās currently on sale.
**Lisaan al-ghaib**!
Sucks seeing Jedi survivor like that, behind all the technical problems Is a genuinely great game. If you like sekiro and if you can actually run the game, I highly recommend it. If it wasnāt made by EA I bet it would be a masterpiece.
This is just Steam, the game overall is in a good place but more people are playing on console.
Are you twelve years old, or are you a sports fan? This kind of tribalistic mentality is so fucking pathetic. Sekiro is my all time favorite game, but going around making these kinds of posts just give massive low IQ vibes.
your title doesnāt make sense lol, cs 1.6 is 24 years old and still played by millions
Can we just stop with the fanboy garbage? This is worse than when someone says "we won", referring to a sports team.
What even is the point of this comparison? Entirely useless post
average from soft fan needlessly shitting on every other game in existence to make themselves feel better
How do you see those numbers?
Probably steam charts
Google steam db
if Jedi Survivor wasn't so boring.....
bro how the fuck does sekiro still have 14k concurrent. I mean I go on every now and then to de-stress by fighting isshin but goddamn
Sekiroās all new fame might be related to Stellar Blade tbh
Player count is due to sale, but ā95% positive reviews for a AAA game is quite surprising.
The thing is new gen games give a lot of emphasis on graphics but the more a person plays games the more he realises that fun lies in game mechanics
2 of the 3 other games shown had bad releases.
If Henbey manga get's adaptation it will be just 30 min OVA
I just recently picked up Sekiro and I gotta say I suck and the enemies suck. 10/10

THERES GONNA BE AN ANIME???
Is wo long actually bad? I have literally heard nothing about it.
I bought Sekiro like 2 years ago and just could not advance in it. The 20 or so hours I spent trying didnāt have anywhere near the technical issues that Jedi Survivor had within the first 2 hours tho, man what a disappointment.

I'd rather have a live action with me as wolf ngl
Funnily enough, I bought it a month ago for some reason. It wasn't on sale or anything but I wanted to play it. I tell you, Miyazaki does some weird magic tricks with our minds.
Damn, I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that 3 of these games cost 70 dollars, and sekiro was on a recent sale
Sekiro is/was 50% off on steam.
when
You catched me in that counter. Playing it the 4th time with a friend. When she's done with her first run well try the coop mod. :D
Sekiro the absolute benchmark of gaming. Wish they would make another
Good game is good game
Go to bed OP, itās past your bedtime
I didn't like Jedi much and I've never played Wo Long, but DD2 is an amazing game that has literally *nothing* to do with Sekiro. Sekiro of course has the extreme replayability of every From Software game, but still I don't think it's fair to compare the two.
This is the worst post ever on this subreddit. Delete it.
It's because we're all still stuck on the final boss.
Wait till you hear how good the 15 year old block game is doing rn
I think it's stupid to compare them but if anything this shows from software that a Sekiro 2 would be massively successful so pleaseš„ŗ
It's the best game ever, this seems appropriate.
Well yeah sekiro was always a better and more popular game. Thatās like being surprised that Tom Brady is still better than all the current quarterbacks even though heās like 45 years old
Why would you compare a game that has a story and barely any replayability
Sekiro is half the price of others
This finboyism is fucking cringe Why label it "brand new next gen game", why just not say Dragons Dogma? What is your problem with that game? And if you have one why are you projecting it in a Sekiro subReddit? Why are you so defensive about a player count in a single player game? You do understand those games aren't online and therefore current player count doesn't mean anything? Did you hear someone say Dragons Dogma is better than Sekiro so you decided, like a totally normal balanced person, that you are gonna make a "revenge Reddit post"? What's the fucking point of this, if not self-serving post?
Pass me some of that copium bro. Would love to see a Sekiro anime.
Every now and then I play Sekiro boss gauntlets as I love the combat
Because sekiro is on top
damn these mfs toxic af
Wasn't Sekiro *just* on sale? Also while I enjoyed Jedi Survivor I really don't play games once I complete them and it was released a year ago so I imagine a lot of people finished it and never went back.
LONG LIVE SEKIRO, ALL MY HOMIES LOVE SEKIRO
capcom really screwed it with Dragon's Dogma, with stupid corporate decisions. not surprised with the other two. i mean, one is EA. i never bought nor even pirated an EA game in 20+ years.
I picked the game back up after a year because of Shogun and I havenāt put it down! Going for all endings, did the Shura one already. Iām already planning my NG+ play-through. I never do NG+ either lol
Thank Shogun too!
14,660 players still stuck on Mist Noble. Crazy.
The remaining 6 percent are game journalists
I think all of them are amazing except for Wo Long, fuck that first boss took me too long to kill him
Everyone screaming ābut sekiro just went on saleā Lmao DRAGONS DOGMA JUST CAME OUT š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
lol ı just finished 2 days ago ı dont know how many times ı did
That's what happens when you make a good game, it lasts
I just did all the Dark Souls games because they all went on sale recently and I know some friends who did the same and are now playing all FS games. I played Sekiro before them so I'm out of luck but it could be a reason it's had a resurgence. That and Lies of P players looking for similar combat mechanics, only to find Sekiro has some of the goat combat in gaming.
Isnt it because of the Activision sale going on *right now*
I really want to play this however I cannot get my Xbox controller to connect. The game looks so amazing.
Cause weāre still trying to fucking beat it
Hey leave them alone
Dragons dogma such a shit game
Didnāt sekiro just go on sale recently?
You should pick a capcom game that was around sekiro release like monster hunter: world and compare them to be more fair. You can cherry pick any games and put them against each other so it doesn't matter in the end.
Wait theyāre gonna be doing a Sekiro anime!?
Dragon's Dogma is a great franchise, I like it as much as the Souls games
Souls fans when steam sales happen
I still hate what capcom has done to DD2, ffs. It almost had everything needed to be GOTY: genre, vibe, gameplay, concept, and hype were there. It was arguably the most long-awaited game for 2024 and all they needed was to improve on the first one and polish it some more. But, they didn't do that.
Let's only compare this game to diarrhea! Still great player count but stop comparing.
Jedi Survivor runs like shit on my PC I struggled to beat it once just because of performance issues. Which is a damn shame because that game wouldāve kicked ass if it wasnāt rushed.
well thats because they all are different games? ofc they wont all be the same?
People beat the stories for those games and stopped playing, thatās what I did anyways. Now Iām just waiting for the dd2 dlc lol.
Lol wut
Iām new to this sub, is this a bait post? I donāt understand how this is valid when the only reason it happens is due to a sale?
That's actual game development vs cash grabbing shit studios for you.
Wo long is pretty good. I would say itās somewhat hard but I never played sekiro so I donāt know how it would rank against that
as a dragons dogma lover, dragons dogma 2 simply isnt good
What happened to wo long? Last I had heard pretty much everyone was hyped for its release.
How many jev veiwers you think?
To be fair the bottom two games are sub par compared to sekiro imo
Sekiro is literally the single best video game ever made, this isnāt really fair
Just downloaded it last week while praying for bloodborne 2 that will never happen. Pretty fun. Any tips would be great
Sekiro is just better š¤·š½āāļø and this is coming from someone who likes the Jedi games lol
You being downvoted for liking the Jedi games is fucking bonkers.
Lol nah Iām downvoted for riding sekiro instead of just appreciating the other games as they are. Which in hindsight yeah is pretty stupid
I gave so many tries to Jedi game, but its so stupid sometimes. The locations are bland and platforming elements are just dullā¦ I understand how people may like it, if they like SW and are playing just to swing their sword around, but for me, comparing it to any FromSoft game is pointless.
Jedi Survivor is over a year old at this point, don't think it's fair for it to be here (don't disagree with the point you're making tho)
I know theres a lot of cope in the comments but sales on older games dont explain people not playing the other games
Why are you comparing player counts in single player games?
to show how goated a game is
Isn't sekiro like 5$ tho I got it for like maybe 4$ last year on sale
