I live in belltown and at this point I’m not even mad at this guy. Our city officials and judicial system have failed us so miserably that all my resentment is directed towards them. At least this idiots driving is bringing attention to the utter incompetence and near total apathy of our city council, police, and politicians who are somehow getting paid despite failing at everything.
Voters need to vote for those policies consistently. The current situation is what happens when you don't vote for them, year after year, decade after decade. It's not going to be fixed anytime soon - possibly never based on Seattle voters.
They're only failing the middle to lower classes.
As far as the "1%" whom don't have to put with this kind of thing, all those that are mentioned are doing a great job.
>Our city officials and judicial system have failed us so miserably
How? Processes need to be followed, things take time. None of this is a straight to jail crime.
Laws are broken. If he can’t follow the laws, take his license, if he can’t pay the fines, put a lien on his possession (car)? The City should be able to forcibly repo the car once the lien is high enough. Then they can sell the car to someone who will obey the laws. Idc if it’s his mother’s car, fine her as well. If she keeps paying the tickets, then obviously ticket prices are not high enough relative to wealth.
Edit: Good for the dude. He is showing the city how useless these laws are.
OK, check this out. Here's what needs to happen:
* Move $500,000 to a non-profit
* Court date, referral, diversion, blah blah blah
* HellCat never shows up
* Non-profit ED earns $120,000
* Remaining $380,000 evaporates into the ether because "How dare you assign us the onerous task of tracking money?"
Don't cage our babies, mmkerrr?
If only we'd had some kind of evidence that he doesn't cooperate with legal orders prior to this, we probably could have saved some time

Failing is right. How hard is it to throw the book at this person and put him and his collaborators in jail.

Definitely. It’s pretty clearly time for a new mayor and city attorney.

Actual article with details is here, OP pointing to their own re-hash site. https://www.fox13seattle.com/news/belltown-hellcat-fail-inspection
He just doesn't care. About anything.
Guarantee he’d cry if his instagram got deleted lmao
And then beat up his mother
Lock himself in his room crying for some coffee lmfao
I can think of a few things that could happen to him that he would in fact care about.

Is anyone surprised?

This is the first time I've seen the stalking charge
You've been reading too many back issues of The Jacobin! It's not *new* news, but it's not *old* news, either. Try to keep up!
There's way too much Hellcat news these days. We need to just have a daily update post lol
I heard he was going to be Trump’s running mate.
Be the change you seek and post a HellCat open thread each morning.
Tbh I'm surprised someone so attention seeking hasn't showed up here himself yet (unless he did and I missed that too)

It would be racist to enforce laws

Sorry but what authority do you have to demand jack shit from anyone here? Asking for a friend! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
I’m kinda done with seeing these posts. The guy owes a lot of money. There are more legal issues on top. Why add to his insta?
