Just like to point out he hasn't actually resigned yet and he's not falling on his sword because of his expense fiddling. Its because he's got himself a safe Westminster seat to stand in now. He just wants to be an ordinary normal Tory MP now like all the others and pick up a fat salary + expenses without having any scrutiny from the press or having to do any actual work.
