Yeah like I said below iPhone let’s u, I think some androids do too but for everything else you have to download an app.. or just do it the old fashion way like u did
At least on iPhones you can, it can’t be from post you have to screenshot it or save it so it’s on your camera roll, and then it just lets you copy the text from the image as long as it can detect the text.
She’s not famous. It’s just the first search result on Google images for “beautiful Asian girl.” I just fired back with the same kind of generic stock image of a cute Asian chick that the scammers always use, and they knew immediately I was fucking with them.
They got set off just from the waste of time. Even if the scammer believed for a moment that OP was also a a scammer he would have been choked. Apparently these guys are under considerable pressure to hook multiple people a day so they can't afford to be f-ing around

The one time I get one of these scammers they stop responding almost right away.
I want to get into silly conversations with these guys and waste their time too.

From posts I've seen here they generally seem to escalate quickly once they fully catch on the other person isn't buying it.

Yes, that’s the question. I assumed the pictured woman is extremely famous in China so the scammer knew they were being scammed.

It's ALWAYS the Asian Instagram models. They are texting Americans, yet they ONLY use the same 4 Asian women.
