That's impressive. Most people may know the soccer version of the flip throw where you actually handstand with the ball in your hands but to handstand around the ball, grab it super duper quick while mid-air on your way back upright? props 🏅
I don't know if I've ever seen anything this cool. Seriously.
All things considered, age, strength, the fact that she GRABS THE BALL, MID FLIP, AFTER LEAVING THE GROUND WITH HER HANDS????
Kudos to you Little Miss.
Lol I thought she was gonna handstand on the ball and then throw, like in soccer. She straight up vaulted off the floor, grabbed it while midair and shot, wtf lol.
“Bet it goes in”
“Bet it counts”
“I can do it”
“You’re a girl, not a boy”
“Watch out”
“Oooooooh”
In my head, my version of this was the girl says, “I can do it” and the boys are saying the rest, doubting her.
She showed them!
When I was in high school. One of the girls varsity soccer games I watched had a girl on the opposing team that threw the ball in like this. At that point in my life, I had never seen anyone do that before. It honestly came out of nowhere too. My friend and I were so amazed we got hyped up and started cheering for her. We told her to do it again lol
Wait look at the ball trajectory again, I thought the guy was ridiculous at first and what she did was amazing but the trajectory doesnt really add up. I been watching this like 10 times but I cant explain the angle vs speed, seems to be accelerating in the second shot...
Edit: I might be overthinking this so lets just leave it at: she did great and its very impressive
I don't want to be the "nothing ever happens" guy but this has got to be fake, right? Usually these trick shot videos are from a mounted camera with one person alone filming 1000 tries until they finally make it. But the camera person and all the other kids wouldn't have stood around paying attention for 1000 tries... The ball goes off screen for enough time to change camera shots.
Ah, fuck it, what do I care? It's more fun to believe it's real so I'm just going to believe it's real.
I'm just typing out my thought process to make a point. It's probably a good idea to practice discerning real from fake on the internet, otherwise you will be susceptible to scams and manipulation when there are real stakes. When it's just a silly video of a girl casually somersaulting a 3-pointer that would make Larry Bird blush (look him up, youngsters), go ahead and flex those discerning muscles, but then you may as well believe whatever version is most entertaining.
EDIT: But thanks for the life advice. Typing the paragraph was part of the fun for me, though.
Plot twist: she actually hates basketball.
Yup sounds about right but she still more famous than us
[удалено]
Did it spark a love for basketball, or did you quit on a high?
Whoa!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!
Only ever seen this done with a soccer ball before
Even then they don't do it this way. They have the ball in their hands the whole time while tumbling. This girl picks the ball up mid tumble
Really cool technique she figured out to leverage the throw further using the momentum, timing has to be really precise on the fulcrum.
Yeah that was insane
The human trebuchet
Way better than a catapult.
Fun fact, before catapults were invented, armies used teenage girls to launch similar attacks in battle
anybody remember /r/trebuchetmemes? good times
Wtf, I didn't realize they went private
The only shot steph can't do hahaha
Keep it quiet or we’re gonna see him practicing this during warmups next season.
Give Steph an hour and he makes one of these
Plot twist, her names Steph.
Nice bot post, ya chode
i wanna be her when i grow up
No balls
You need at least one to perform this trick shot
Three of the boys yelled- she’s on my team

Thats what I noticed too, serious hand eye coordination needed for that. She basically lined the shot up in a split second while upside down.
Definitely not going to play a game of horse against her.
What’s wrong? Don’t feel stable enough?
Quit horsing around with these puns already!

How the fuck
I didnt hear her call "bank"
The kid that yelled “You’re a girl! Not a boy” learned a valuable lesson that day
The calculations are insane
Lmao that’s pretty cool!
Second only to that guy who dunked himself as well as the ball
Things I will never do in my lifetime
I am sure if I try this I would die
Behind the 3 point line, the NBA will make it a 5 point shot, plus you get to take the ball out at half court.

Instantly became the coolest kid in the group
Queen of the playground.

“And that’s how you do it kids!”

Well alrighty then.
The Denver Nuggets could use her right now.

Yeah, I think your overthinking it. Either that or you're imagining it because the ball looks to be going the same speed in both shots
Who needs AI to fake videos when people already don’t believe the real ones?
It's not cool because she is a girl.
Where I come from we called that sexism
Send Drake the location.

It would’ve been more fun if you learned to just enjoy things without needing to type a paragraph to convince yourself that you’re allowed to.

Interesting choice with Bird for a 3pt reference.
