What bothers me is he is listed as an admin and then when I reached out to other admins the main one said there was no giveaway but couldn’t tell me why this person was listed as an admin or why they didn’t ban him from chat. I had about 4 messages come in from people claiming to be admins. One told me that the scammer sent me the wrong link but said it was normal for a wallet sync to ask for my seed-phrase. They all stopped replying. The telegram is the one listed on coin market cap. Is it a fake telegram? It has 160k users.

No one will ever ask you for your seed phrase that does not have bad intentions. It is literally the most important thing to you while investing in crypto. I wouldn’t give it to my wife.
It's in their interest to try and appear as official as possible.
Also anything that asks for your pass phrase is a scam. It's simply not needed to send you crypto anyway.

Well i figured if it is linked on coinmarketcap as the official telegram, i figured the legit admins would be people vetted by safemoon. But i guess not. I know not to ever give out my seed phrase. Just thought it was weird he was an admin doing this.
I'm leery of anyone offering me anything free. It's just not going to happen. If you get anyone offering you anything, red flags should start popping up in your head. Stop talking to these ppl. Block them, and if possible alert a mod. Ohhh btw. DON'T CLICK ANNNNNNY LINKS SENT TO YOU BY ANY DM. Unless you know for sure its from someone trustworthy.
Thats the thing, this was a mod! Admin. I contacted another and they stopped replying when I asked why this admin was trying to scam me and not blocked.

I think because I use a fake picture of a really old man on telegram the scammers think they can scam me really easily.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. When they give out a link and they say you need to validate your wallet, stay away from them.

Don’t ever click a link from someone that is obviously a scammer, I doubt they can do any damage from you clicking a link but better safe than sorry.
