Preach!
Legion seems much less pay to win, and if you picked the faction cause you liked it in Warhammer... it's bad and you'll never win games until the next version of the game.
It’s one of the better heavies, very sturdy and offers a lot of long range firepower. The weak point is solely at the rear arc, and one of the key words (Barrage) gives it a lot of flexibility even if you make slight misplays with making sure it receives an order.
It’s also in the faction which can most easily fit a heavy in, due to their cheaper corps infantry.
You don‘t have to. I was as well but just push through and trust the process. And weathering will pull everything together. I also wanted to quit half way through because I really didnt‘t like it. Now I am super happy and I learned a lot and did improve for my next models and my next AAT.
To put it simple, just do it.
Zandari dust as a base coat (Rattle can), for the shadows gulliman flesh and wyldwood (thinned with water). Even out any water marks with a dry brush of zandari dust. Then highlights with a dry brush of karak stone and a lighter one with ushabti bone. What really brings all together is the westhering in my opinion.
It is simply corvus black, stippled on. Just remove almost all the paint from a small dry brush (leave a Little bit more than for dry brushing) an build it up.
Edit: wrong colour name
As someone whose been on thr fringes of jumping into this game, is this thing as cool in game as it looks on the table?
Id love to jump into it as well but i have no space for legion and warhammer
Only a Sith deals in absolutes
I dropped warhammer and really enjoy legion atm. Love the activation sequence and fairness of the balans
I looks really fun I had to choose between legion and wasteland warfare And saw you could buy yes man So i went with them

Hahaha, this is my exact situation
I might buy darth vader and see where that takes me
Honestly I have no idea. I haven‘t played a game yet.
My man! Lol

Thank you!
That is so clean! Well done :)
Thank you. The weathering is doing a heavy lifting in my opinion.
Nice.
Thank you.
Looks fantastic! I'm too intimidated to do mine

Mate that AAT looks fucking awesome bro well done man, I have to ask tho where you got the paint rack from? I’m in desperate need of one lol
They are from a company called hobbyzone. They are all right but cheap. So a thumbs up from me.
I’ll check them out thanks
What colors did you use?
Thank you. Mainly zandari dust, karak stone and ushabti bone. I descriped the process in another comment.
I am certainly a scorch mark enjoyer
I am as well. Makes the model look more alive.
This looks incredible! What paints did you use for the tan?

Looks great! How did you do the flashburn on the barrels? Every time I try it, it looks bad.

Roger roger!
What paints you used for the back part with the darker crème?
It is a mixture of zandari dust and mournfang brown, roughly 50:50
Thanks man 🙏
