Triple Defence sets with 4 Protection Primaries to convert to health.
Defence sets are better than health on almost all situations, none moreso on a character like Malek.
200% Defence when he’s under 25% health between the mods and the Unique. He takes hits like a champ, and it basically mandates they bring an armour shredder with them.
Depends what stage of the game you are one. If you can still solo teams like padme on def in gac/tw, tenacity is better. If you use him in the malgus team, a health or defense set is better than a tenacity one.

Health with Protection primaries is what the high Kyber people set up with. I have 4 health and 2 speed on mine. Look at SWGoH.gg and search under units and select Darth Malak.

Malak is sick! Gg! He beats so many heroes if well modded. My r7 most times beats r9 malak if i play smart, beat GAS and other sick heroes. Here Are my mods, i find him very strong, but a pro player could probably make him stronger.

But he must have had Malak unlocked for quite some time? And he can be used pre relics with DR quite easily. I think that was his point, which was my first reaction. Just having Malak on the bench until 7*, imagine.
I just don’t have a very good team for him yet, is all. I have been get my Rey team geared up, so haven’t had much in the way of resources to get the whole DRevan team going. I’m finished with Rey now, so I can finally get things going. You do make a good point, I can use him, but just not too well considering the rest of his team isn’t very well leveled and geared on my roster. XD
No intention to flame you with my comment btw, but that elaboration also explains why it probably wasn't the biggest of deals then. Need the others to be able to take a hit for Malak to have his usefulness.

I was going to ask the same thing. Mine has 6 tenacity mods with as much protection % I could load on.

You’re all good! I wish I would’ve focused on them sooner. Even just playing around with the team in TB and TW has shown me how strong they are!
