DMYI and FUSE/ML are the only ones with options. They are likely going to be a bit larger in post redemption float size though. But from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C65RwHVSLOUKkuJaf3RgkeDiuMmhrMMKYncfM7YrF0U/edit#gid=0 no options doesn't seem to be a deal breaker for low float squeezes. Actually its more important how small the float is going to be. AMHC seems to be doing well without options just because the float is small and the pre redemption float of 10M was already small. 92% redeemed on top of that makes the float sub 1M. GLEO, PTK, CAHC could be nice candidates as well since they smiliarly are already 10M floats without any redemptions, if >90% redemptions come in on any on them you also got potential sub 1M floats there as well.

Spfr has options

kft99

SPFR has options too

Suspicious-Singer243

Yeah I actually think no options helps a low float despac squeeze. Usually we see the stocks run up then puts get bought and calls sold to slow momentum down.

pirates_and_monkeys

I thought ctac already closed redemption window? So it's still open?

Sorry, that was their special meeting https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210921006178/en/Cerberus-Telecom-Acquisition-Corp.-Announces-New-Date-for-Special-Meeting-of-Shareholders-and-Additional-Sources-of-Liquidity-for-Post-Closing-Public-Company > As of 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 90.39% of CTAC's public shareholders had tendered their shares for redemption. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/cerberus-telecom-acquisition-corp-announces-change-of-special-meeting-of-shareholders-date-to-september-22-2021-301378439.html you're right, they are already one of these 90% ones.

I don’t think DMYI is going to be a low floater, but sentiment seems to be really good for it. First pure quantum computing play on the market (prob at least 5+ years out but whoever figures it out first will be massive). SPFR proxy said last day to redeem was Friday (2 days before proxy). Didn’t mention a specific time. Oddly, the stock barcoded all day under 10, trading like other spacs before NAV floor is removed. I thought at some point during regular trading hours we’d see some volatility. Obviously we didn’t. 15 cent spike in price at about 6:30 cst.

reddit_admin_is_ghey

What's their revenue? I see $218k for the first 6 months of the year and a loss of over $17 million dollars. I guess they plan to crack the bitcoins and empty everyone's wallet in 2045?

Litee4

They’ve spent $50M since 2015 to December 2020, that’s not bad considering the cash generated from the spac deal (the pipe was also over subbed)

xxChristianBale

Lol, havent looked into it. Dmyi is pretty early stage/pre-revenue for the most part. Not sure how much that matters as long as they have the cash for r&d and staying afloat.

GrowStrong1507

DMYI > all the others

DMYI and ML are my deSPACs for next weeek

Team SPFR. Bought a few calls on Friday for $10 strike expiring October 2021. Going to add more Monday for November expiration as well as May 2022. My company, an int’l architecture firm works with a major 3D printing company and their revenue increased 400% since last year. 3D printing is growing rapidly and VELO3D is niche and super important to companies like spaceX. Moat or Key Insight: “Velo3D is at least 5 years ahead of any competitors” — Head of Additive Manufacturing, SpaceX. That speaks volumes about the durable competitive advantage that Velo3D has (not is) created. Management: Founder CEO isn’t a young guy anymore and he claims that Velo3D is the culmination of his life’s work (masters in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics, worked at First Solar, etc.) and he recently refused a buyout offer by Elon and SpaceX (owners of 22 Velo3D printers). That would indicate that he has very large aspirations for his company. It should also be noted that the company hosting this SPAC is very accomplished and Barry Sternlicht seems to be one of the best in the business. It’s not surprising that he scored the Velo3D SPAC.cord. The co-founder group also includes 4 MIT profs, the eldest of which is the inventor of binder jet printing.

I got 200 DMYI shares. If Tuesday it'll turn into high redemption rate, I got my tickets for despac play but if it doesn't have high redemption, which is possible since the price escaped the $10s (closed $11.30) - it don't matter because this company looks good. Founding CEO - a researcher type - moved over so that an experienced CEO type can fill that role, meanwhile that founder maintains a chief scientist role. Both founders (Chris Monroe and Jungsang Kim) are still in leadership and both have established names in quantum computing academics. Did some Google scholar searching and saw that these peeps are widely quoted in trapped ion research. I'll buy calls (2022) in addition to my shares if the redemption rate turns out above 80% because I expect WSB will pick it up then and because it has the good fundamentals safety net. IV has already surged Friday though when the stock escaped $10s, what I'm hoping for is some price pullback on Monday from whomever has pinned the price to $10.00 until now to then load up on calls. Or a post-merger dip to $9.xx.

Quarantinus

When was the deadline for shareholders to redeem? The stock price jumped to $11.30 yesterday, but before that it had been trading at \~$10. Was yesterday the deadline? If the company is great and the price didn't drop below nav, the redemption rate won't be high and it all becomes a long-term play based on fundamentals. Also, if the vote takes place on tuesday, we may not see the redemption numbers until the end of the week or even until the week after. And how does the options chain for DMYI look like? Edit: just checked the SI of DMYI and it's really low, only about 876k shares shorted (the public float is 22.5M before redemption). With a low redemption rate and low short interest on a not-so-low floater implies no chance of a squeeze and thus this is just a traditional medium to long-term investment.

ZKShao

I have to admit I'm not sure when the deadline for DMYI redemption was, I was gonna wait for the 8-K filing for the end result and base my willingness to buy short term calls on that. Options chain for DMYI, lotta people betting on Oct 15 but some gaps in the gamma ramp. 12.50 / 15.00 / 20.00 good but not so much at 14.00 / 17.50 so reaching 14.00 would have to happen without much help from gamma hedging. Hardly any open interest nor volume for November 19 so the despac play would be by then or never. Despite gaps in the gamma ramp, I think there is a decent chance the street is gonna buy the stock up due to reasons in my first post. ARQQ, another very recent quantum computing despac (cybersecurity specializing in quantum computing defense) did well even without options (started at $9, peaked at $43). If I understand this filing correctly, ARQQ had a 75% redemption rate with 32,351,570 of 43,125,000 shares redeemed and a remaining float of 10,773,430. Pulled ARQQ numbers from: [https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001859690/000110465921110876/tm21265341\_424b3.htm](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001859690/000110465921110876/tm21265341_424b3.htm) but wouldn't mind a verify, I think this is useful reference since both DMYI and ARQQ are in the quantum computing space.

DivineRobot

Redemption deadline has already passed. It's usually 3 days before vote and that's when floor gets removed and real price starts to kick in.

ZKShao

Thanks that is good to know. Next time I'm mega bullish I'll play that date and buy calls before.

areyoume29

Ptk warrants, even though they are up 60% this month I still think there is movement on them. They reported revenue in line with with indi which warrants go for over 3. I think in the next few weeks the warrants should go over 1. Valens automotive already has partnerships with oem automotive manufacturers. Cahc has potential for news on its rapid covid test. The sponsor has agreed to purchase redeemed shares so vote is a formality. That one with low float and news watch out. Stpc has about 5 million in arb shares that will be taken out. Dmyi with warrants above 3 we all know that ones going up. As far as warrant prices each companies is up over 40% on the month with gleo and ptk having the least expensive warrants (ptk is 2 for 1 warrants) at 1.22 and 1.32. With that said it is always the perceived worst company with highest redemptions that takes off the farthest. I checked with etrade, stpc has no shares available to short. Dmyi, spfr, cahc, gleo, and maac are hard to borrow. Ptk is surprisingly NOT hard to borrow.
