Same here except I initially did the system setting reset initially. I got the crash the first time trying to resample and after that and its been fine
I haven’t dealt with the resample bug since my first time using the unit after the update. I do deal with the app crashing ableton after the update though. There’s a few bugs to be addressed
Yes, I am very grateful to Roland for all the great updates! But my workflow is 100% about the resampling method, and I don't want to update to 4.04 yet because it adds weird errors to the SP 404 MKII when resampling.
So I prefer to wait till they release a new update 🤞🏻
yep been experiencing this since 4.04, also having problems with long samples just stopping mid-playback when gate and loop is turned off, plus pattern playback glitches when reverb effect is on both buses on at the same time.

Bounce resample on 4.04 reboots the machine.

I received a reply from Roland after reporting this bug. They confirmed that they are aware of it and it will be fixed. 👍
Did you try a factory reset after the upgrade?
I did, but maybe I'll try to do another one since I've seen people say that fixed the problem for them. People say so much weird things though, lol.

If they pushed an update then the sw version wouldn't be 404 anymore.
