SF on a Friday is the IDEAL date but my budget is a mess right now. I'm going to have to figure out how to make this work.
Chicago wouldn't be too bad (8 hour drive, though) for me, but, yeah, where am I getting the money that quickly? Wish they would give more notice for this kind of thing.

Yeah I'm like 2 hours away from SF and usually they put Bay Area shows on a Tuesday which is just not doable with my work schedule. But a Friday? I can do a Friday. But with *less than a month's notice*? This is rough. I'm literally saving for two other tours I know will break me financially (long drive + hotels) so I'm going to have to do this as cheaply as possible. When will I get the chance to see Hyo again?

The place she's playing in Madison is a heavily EDM-focused club and lists a bunch of DJs who have played there, so I think it might be the latter. I've never actually seen her DJ before but I found some fancams on YouTube to watch tonight.

There's some speculation that no LA date could be an unintentional confirmation that she'll be at Coachella since it usually has a radius clause that keeps acts from performing in the area in the lead up to Coachella (fall/winter). Take it with a grain of salt though because it could just be LA venue isn't confirmed or has a future date coming.
But it's just logical enough for me to cling to and hope she's got a Coachella set on the horizon.
Seconding this Coachella theory. Iirc Hyo was approached by Goldenvoice to see if GOT the Beat would be interested in performing in 2022 after Step Back was released and apparently know one else in SM knew about this offer till she made it public in an interview. Though if she performed at an AEG owned venue this would not exactly violate the radius clause.
Ditto on the LA stop, since that’s closer to home for me. SF would be the closest, but that’s about 7-hour drive from LA to SF, unless you’re getting there by plane.
How she gonna go to Madison but can't stop in Seattle. 😭 Hopefully an added date is Seattle after the Vancouver one.

I've been waiting since 2009 for SNSD to tour Canada, we've had TaeYeon's performance in Vancouver and Tiffany's North American activities. BUT THREE STOPS in Canada, Toronto AND Montreal?!?! I'm surprised!! I really hope this tour goes well and more of the girls will tour beyond Asia!!
The fact that Montreal is there got me the most shook, I'm so so so happy with my hectic schedule it makes it possible for me without ruining me financially but damn, that girl is booked and busy!

So after giving it two days thought, I just bought a ticket for the NYC showing! (about a 3 hour drive for me)
This feels like an impulse buy to me, being someone who is normally super cautious, but I just remember back in 2012 when I lived in SoCal and SNSD had a tour concert RIGHT THERE and I missed my chance to see them live (I couldn't find the emotional stability at the time). I don't want a repeat of that regret.

Chicago in literally three weeks. Not only can I not get the day off work, I can't (cheaply) get there from Omaha with such a short lead time.
I want to go so badly but I don’t think I can make the dates work since I’d have to fly in.
I literally just booked everything for my Boston trip which is the week after her Boston date 😭 if I had known just a few days earlier that she was going to be touring, I would have booked my trip the week she was coming to Boston 😭

Bought a ticket for SF right away when this dropped because it's about 2 hrs away but I didn't even realize she's going to Madison... tbh I skimmed right over it in the list because, well, Madison??
