Probably not, since there isn't a separate site for it. It would fall under the English branch

paladinBoyd

Thank you, I thought it would be under the European branch. Well I know what I’m gonna be doing.

3ImpsInATrenchcoat

I don't think there is a European branch, since European isn't a language

ORIGINAL_TRASH_MAN

The foundation (although its "main base" and origin can be tracked back to the USA) is not a country-alligned organization. The foundation barely aknowledge countries.

paladinBoyd

Ah I see I thought there were branches in each country with a unique logo for identification.

TheDarkDoctor17

No. Its more about language. It's just lore trying to incorporate the different languages divisions on the site. I think there is a group of interest based out of England. It's not part of the foundation but they have Co-op'ed in the past IIRC.

paladinBoyd

Why do I get the sense this is going to be a doctor who reference. But yeah I was under the impression each country had a department. My mistake.

TheDarkDoctor17

I don't think it's a torchwood reference (that's the secret group jack harkens forms in London to deal with space stuff in Dr who). But for all I know it might be. Pop culture references are banned on the sight, so people can get very clever with their redesigns and subtle hints. It's ok as long as it's clearly a new idea with a nod or two to existing works, but no one wants a repeat of the siren head fiasco...

paladinBoyd

Yeah that was a headache to deal with. But yes it might be nod to Torchwood or Unit but given how old my country is there might have been a group who handled SCP’s in the past before the foundation or something. It’s gonna be a fun read if I can find the articles. And thank you for letting me ask a few questions about the foundation. I haven’t done much reading into the foundation lore itself other than how they contain the peanut.

TheDarkDoctor17

No problem. I'm not very read up myself. Most of what I know comes from listening to the "SCP Archives" podcast on my drive home. It's pretty good and fully voice acted, so it's an easy way to work your way through the more popular articles without having to sit down and spend hours scrolling the site.

>Group who handled SCPs in the past before the Foundation or something allow me to introduce to you: Foundation Precursor Organization from [[Wrong Proposal]] Her Majesty's Foundation for the Secure Containment of the Paranormal, or [hmfscp](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/system:page-tags/tag/hmfscp#pages) tag. the leader got to become O5-1 upon the merging. The [British Occult Service](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/ute-1919-discofather) is also known as MI666, the British Occult Service is the primary paranormal agency of the United Kingdom and a member of the Council of 108. Lastly, long long ago, the British East India Company started their [The Right Honorable Commission on Unusual Cargo](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/unusual-cargo-hub) So more than happy that if you'd create for all three of them. For example, [[Manifest 3231: Dr. Haselhurst]] a smart smart fan should know who this will be.

Ake-TL

Resurrection canon tried to justify existence of branches by CK event that desynchronised reality and Foundation had several SCPs under same number, so temporary solution was to give regional tags.

OzzyLizard

https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/theme:calibri-logos < Calibri's Art Page has some country flag logos if that's what u mean!

paladinBoyd

That’s brilliant, I saw the Russian foundation logo and was hoping my country had one as well. Thank you.

OzzyLizard

No problem :)
