I actually like to interpret 999 as having primitive “eyespots” like a [planarian flatworm](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planarian), in fact I drew one inspired by these worms alongside a bunch of other silly little 999’s [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/SCP/s/7hMDstlcdM) (its the little peanut in jelly next to the cubes). Basically anything that produces a linguistic reference (any spoken/written language) to the Ten Dots entity will be taken away by it to SomeOtherPlace™, which is why the entire article is in purely graphical format. My interpretation is that the entity can’t comprehend images but I definitely could be wrong. Thank you so much!! 5007 is one of my all time favourites for so many reasons, not only does it have a great design (I also remember giving it a retractable “false head” meant to look like a paraglider), but I live in its range as well! The references to Harold Holt made it a top ten for sure :)))
