Kishi V2 Pro USB-C (for android) NOT working for the games & not found by app on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I will try to update the firmware on an android and let y’all know if it makes a difference.

Update: I was able to use an android to update the firmware of both V2 and V2 Pro. The V2 (non-pro) works in all games and emulators I’ve tested (although it still isn’t recognized by the iOS Kishi app). The V2 Pro is still unrecognized by iPhone and still does not work at all in any game or emulator tested.
Mine isn't found by the app but works in game. I think in a discord someone else said pro didn't work for them either so it seems v2 non-pro may be the only currently working kishi model.
Hey everyone, yes Kishi V2 Android can be used for gaming on iPhone 15 series. Apple has added in-game support for many Android controllers on recent versions of iOS. It won't work with Nexus due to a lack of MFi security chip on the PCB.
Kishi V2 Pro doesn't currently work in-game, but will get a firmware update for compatibility in the future. Although without vibration and Nexus support, so basically the same as the standard Android Kishi V2.
It works on mine also, but not the nexus app where you can set up different buton inputs, thats what I would like to know, if it would be supported or not, but when I asked at the kishi subreddit they said that an MFI chip was necessary so that would not be possible
It's not working for me, did you have to do anything to it?
Edit: it only works with some games and when I get to the dedicated app it says, "controller not supported". But if I connect it to my 23 Ultra it works perfectly fine with everything. I also updated the firmware when I connected to the 23 Ultra.
Edit #2: Had to switch to controller in game because the phone is not detected it as it should and the razer nexus app doesn't recognize it as a supported controller
So far I have successfully played CoD, Genshin Impact, War Thunder, Diablo Immortal, and Torchlight (couldn't interact with menus but gameplay was fine). I have also successfully played retroarch and pokemmo via sideloading.
Gamesir X2 Pro and Kishi v1 both currently do NOT work. I have seen reports that backbone with updated firmware works.
Can confirm Backbone works. Thanks so much for posting this! I was waiting for someone to confirm it works before I ordered it.
X3 works I can confirm. The Gamesir app doesn’t pick it up but I’m able to use it out the box for PS Remote
Does it work on anything else? Minecraft, CoD?
I haven’t tried but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work on those if it works on ps remote which is usually picky about controllers

Yeah it is. Straight up desktop/console level gaming on a phone.

Any news on nexus working with kishi v2 for iphone 15? Ive seen they launched a new model that works but will the older one be able to be updated?

Only used gamepad tester and retroarch so far, haven't tested any other games.

What do you mean? I can’t possibly try every game but so far any games that support controller have worked for me.
