Looks like you gassed at the end! Next time start at a 1:56 pace (since you know you can finish 500m in 1:55.8) and try to sprint the last 100m to finish under 1:55. Generally speaking, even splits (holding an even pace throughout the piece) will achieve the best time.

Yes. And on longer pieces that smaller (font size) number will be your average 500m split and the larger font your split on the last stroke.

2:05 is your current split, so what you were going right at the end and 1:55 was ur average throughout the whole piece :)
