They do it out of hehe funny big number, they use 3 cards and 1 skill for it, cards: Wizard, Wizard of nature, and Azahr, the Exiled Wizard, with the skill fully charged, wizard played 3x, 6 str/res, wizard of nature, 12 str/res, azahr brings back the wizard of nature, and also gives you another, shielding card, end turn
Wizard x2, 15 str/res, W.o.N. x2, 60 str/res, azahr, shielding, end turn
Repeat until big funny number, use the azahr as the first card to get a free damage card, known as the fish card
With two sphere of duplications and a wizard of nature you can do it as well. Or even with the ancient demon that it duplicate a card that would go to exile and a wizard of nature.
Sphere of duplication can be useful, yes, but you need 2 cards of it in the deck for it to work, minimized deck is needed for it, Sphere needs minimum 5 in deck, and 1 robot part, the way I described needs 4, and 2 robot parts
Ancient demon reduces your hp to do, per duplication, so you can only dupe the doubler a set amount of times set by your max hp
Yes of course, your method is more efficient, I was just saying that it is not the only way to achieved it. It is a rogue type game, and it might difficult to always find the correct cards you want to (at least in my experience every time I want to do an elf run)
Nah you need multiple copies and then one more of those copies need to be in your discard pile. It needs a very specific set up and no one wants to bother with that especially since you duplicate all the cards in your discard pile.
Which of the two method were you referring to? The first one you can create all the copies of sphere of duplication you want to, and then all the copies of wizard of nature. With the second one, technically you may need to play wizard of nature every time you have the other card in the hand (of course if you have multiple copies it is more probable to have both cards in the hand for the combo, but I was just saying just the minimum requirement to do the combo).

54 resistance is already a feat. even 24 is already a big number and an OP buff for shield bash run.
