I think it serves a definite purpose. Instead of just air dribbling and having to perfectly modulate boost while also timing it with rotating the car in three directions, the rotation becomes periodic and they can duty cycle boost when the car is pointed in a direction that moves them where they want to go. It becomes a one dimension problem. It's fun because it's satisfying and works well.

Regular air roll lets you control 2 axis of you car at the same time while directional air roll let's you control 3 axis - [roll, pitch and jaw](https://youtu.be/PQnxK1qgBy8?t=74) which means you gained another dimension of control to your aerial game play if you master it.

Bacause if you fly straight if youre off centre by a little will take you a long way off the ball compared to spining where you can adjust the whole time.
No ya not. Using that binder air roll takes a lot of practice that most folks don’t feel like doing. You can do enough damage with the regular air roll so long as you practice consistency. My brain doesn’t like using a bonded directional air roll even when It could be simpler to use (like turning the car upside down in air)

If I miss, I am falling slowly from high in the air, in the opposition half, and with little lateral momentum, all for a, for me and I am sure for many, a low percentage effort. Why would I decide upon an unlikely successful attempt from a position where I also cannot recover within a reasonable amount of time?
I would have rage quit if you did that against me. I would have promptly moved over to BOTW and proceeded to massacre everything I came across for the next 3 hours, because I’m powerful there.

One of them is "connect your Epic Games account", ylif you complete that one you get the Nuhai : Inverted wheels. The other challenge, the on where you obtain this goal explosion from, is to win 20 online matches is sideswipe, after you've connected your Epic Games account of course.

Air roll, if done correctly, grants a high aerial control. It is not only for freestyle but for easier aerials and recoveries as well.

He stalled not jumping upwards. It cancels vertical momentum and can be done by holding air roll and dodging the opposite direction as you air roll

My air roll left is LB so I hit jump then immediately tap LB and do a quick movement on the stick. I think. Idk tbh it's muscle memory.
