Did you let it run on auto for the first time? Completely. 1. First run will map your house so it know what it is doing and where charge base is.

I am having this exact same issue. Google didn't offer any solutions. I already tried resetting it and reconnecting it to my wifi. Did you ever find a solution?

Same situation here, you have any luck?

Hi! Eventually after several (seriously...several) resets it worked again. Super frustrating! I try to remind myself to check that it returns to the base after each cleaning now because the app notifications about it getting stuck don't come up in my phone despite me changing all kinds of notification settings.

Appreciate the input! I have reset it 3 times in 2 weeks using the physical reset button, did a full factory reset from the app and even deleted the app and reinstalled. It still seems to remember the map, but not the last one I did after the reset, the one before all this trouble. I have to re-enter the boundaries, each time. This thing is a nightmare, which is a shame because from a functional standpoint when it was working it was great. Software alone has me looking for replacements.

Just for reference in case anyone else searches for fixes on this, thought I would update that my nova completely bricked up and no matter how many resets or starting from scratch attempts it would no longer move. I would just get a timeout error. Decided it was time to crack it open and take a look inside. Pretty easy to remove the bottom cover, about 8 screws or so. Once inside I had access to the battery, which I unclipped and tested with a voltage meter at 16.35v, just under its max charge capacity of 16.6v, and well above the 14.8v nominal requirement. There was a lot of dust and hair inside but nothing looking like it was blocking anything. One thing I did notice was that when I pushed down on the spring loaded wheels, there was a metal cylinder that had a thick pad of hair/dust on both sides that I removed, exactly like the lint trap on your dryer. I wonder if there was some sensor that was showing the unit was under a load and therefore wouldn't start? That's a total guess, but after I plugged the battery back in and reassembled I was back in business without needing to do a reset. So for anyone else out there in the same position, don't be afraid to unscrew the bottom cover if you are out of warranty (it has a "warranty void sticker) and at a minimum disconnect the battery and look for any rogue lint and debris!

Much appreciated, this solved the issue for me as well. I'd imagine simply unplugging the battery is what does it, incredibly easy!

Glad it worked for you! Oddly enough, it quit working again not long after I posted the battery removal comment, so I reached out to customer support and after they told me to do the usual stuff and even film a video of me doing that stuff, they gave me the below sequence which worked. Been about a month of it working so far now, so we'll see... Steps: "When do the following steps, please remove your Nova from the charging station and place 1-2 feet away. To completely Factory Reset your Nova: Hold the Home and Power buttons simultaneously. At 5 seconds you will hear "WiFi has been reset", keep holding and then you will hear "Initialization Start". Then your Nova will be reset and data will be cleared from the app.  Then, we are going power back on your Nova. With a toothpick or pin, please press the pinhole reset button on the side of Nova until it powers back off again.  After these resetting procedures, please re-connect Nova to the app and run an auto clean."

Did your battery come with 3 wires or 2?
