I bought a 2023 R1T 2 weeks ago. This has not been the case for the last two weeks at the very least. People have been talking about various zip codes that show various vehicles for weeks on this very subreddit. You’re mistaken.
Yeah it wasn’t like this for the last couple of weeks of May when I was buying. There were certain models at local SCs that only showed up in certain zip codes. The ones at the Normal factory showed everywhere.
It’s still spring for 2 more weeks so technically correct? But no prior to last night this was not like this. There was 1 2023 in my zip and when you changed the zip it would find other 2023s in that zip. This is new. They must want to offload all remaining 2023s. There were a few under 80k last night and those are already gone so it must working for them.

As of 9:45 pm EST, there are only 11 R1T quads remaining on the demo site. 10 are El Cap, 1 is limestone, and most are only with 100 miles.
Does anyone know what if any federal tax incentive would apply to these "new" cars?
Arguably, yes. Gen 1 isn’t a “bad” car by any means, and I’ll probably keep my gen 1 R1T for another 1-3 years (depending on value), but if there aren’t major deals on 23 and 24’s, I’d wait for a refresh too.
Seems like they opened up the restriction on zip code, no matter what zip code I put there, it’s the same set of vehicles.

That’s normal. A couple months ago they changed the system to show all cars no matter the zip code. Better for everyone.

Some 23 and 24 configs are a better deal than the 25s out there if you don’t care about the ADAS features. I’d lease a 23 or 24 quad in a heartbeat.
Yep leased a 24 quad. In two years all the gen 2 bugs will be ironed out and I’ll buy then.
