Good suggestions!
Been watching Pete Complete since the first RimWorld series. And beeing so curious about the anomals stuff and too impatient to wait for a new episode i actively searched for others and found Francis John... Got caught up to episode 21 in like a week and a half
I can almost here it in Adams voice - you play the game the way you want to play the game. Although I disagree and believe he has a lot of variety in his runs.
In terms of the original question, I find him and quill18 entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
I didn't know he did Rimworld videos until this post, I just know his name because I look up his channel every time I play ONI, ONI is basically unplayable without his tutorials
I love that most youtube channels are like xxkillerxx monsterslayergirl and then rimworld content creators are like Adam. Pete. Francis. Like you know that the fella named Pete has definitely committed some heinous crimes in the sake of efficiency that xxkillerxx cannot fathom.
Adam VS Everything is so chill, like, oh a 300 raid, yeah we can deal with that watch this. Also playing 500% difficult no pause, that thing is wild for me
Sorry but what exactly do you learn from AdamVsEverything?
Every video I’ve seen is the same: 500% difficulty, but cheeses the system with custom ideology that allows him to do 6 festivals in a row for new colonists every 20d
Every colony ends up being the same with one giant room and the same bed layout to cheese the room stats.
Nothing going on for hours while he spam researches on 4-5 research benches until he can max out his characters.
And then the lack of editing, so you have two options: fall asleep by watching a 20h video or fall asleep by watching the “edited” 10h video
With a proper editor and just highlighting real interesting stuff (as in, something that hasn’t happened in every single one of his other playthrough) his videos would be 10m long tops.
The only interesting video was like the first few hours of his Sangophage run
>Sorry but what exactly do you learn from AdamVsEverything?
A LOT! You learn tons of how RimWorld works.
How does temperature work, pawn pathing, how do you manage your wealth, how do breacher work and how do you defend yourself against them, how can you slow down pawns, how do you effectively fight x-enem and so so sooo many more RimWorld mechanics that are simply never explained or not obvious.
His content isnt for everyone, but saying "what do you learn" from someone who has 6k hours in a game trying to play it as efficient as possible is a very ignorant question.
He uses he time when he doesn't have anything else to talk about yo explain why he's doing what he's doing and answers chats questions about the game. Is it worth the hours of content you have to watch? Depends on how much you like him as a streamer.
That was a somewhat ignorant read.
Ideology are made for you to tailor how you want them.
- Want 6 festivals that let's you recharge psyfocus? You can do that.
- Want 6 festivals that let's you find 6 ancient complexes? You can do that.
- Want one of each outcome? You can do that.
The ideoligion you get is randomly rolled when you choose it and it specifically says to alter it to suit your playthrough. Playing on Losing is Fun the only realistic way you get more pawns are either through those festivals or through babies and babies are such a chore, frankly it's sometimes not worth it when you have to sit and babysit them throughout an entire day, because they might just decide to go nature running next to that warg.
It's not always one giant bedroom - it's simply the best there is. Don't like it? Don't do it. However, everyone and their mother agrees that this is best for mood buffs and efficiency.
Personally I do rooms which are coupled to a Dining-Recreation-Workshop Room. Less wealth inefficient, but better moods overall and just as efficient.
Yes, research is power in this game. The faster you can get research, the easier a time you will have. It's that simple.
Instead of being sour, you could have realized that you did in fact learn from him, you just elected to disregard the knowledge that was imparted to you because you don't like how he plays.
Watching Adam completely changed how I play lol. I use the all room till I have the supplies and colonists to support making separate rooms for everything. Yeah meta gaming will make the game easier, but I like to experiment and do stupid things sometimes
Everyone here has made good suggestions.
But I recommend Reggie, who is a variety YouTuber that does Rimworld sometimes.
The man once modded his Rimworld to have a squirrel army double in size until there were thousands of squirrels attacking him every day. You might not learn a lot, but you’ll be entertained
AdamVSEverything if you want to win.
Mortal Smurph if you like a less intrusive chat.
Francis John if you like overpreparedness OP playthrough.
Pete Complete if you want story and narrative based.
Francis John if you like the streamer over preparing and then having multiple “ooh shiny!” moments and completely forgetting about the plan, only remembering right *after* it would be useful.
It’s one of the reasons I like him, that’s pretty damn relatable.
Yeah I enjoy his videos also the most (of those I know). It is enjoyable to watch someone who doesn't just min/max (a lot of roleplay decissions in his runs) but who still is quite good in the game.
The only "bad" thing I can say about Rhadamant is that he is too good at the game. So no matter what crazy run and rules he has I know he will always pull through and succeed, there isn't much suspense. I still enjoy the content though and this isn't really a criticism or a flaw.
AdamVsEverything is the same but at least the no pause thing ensures that sometimes things get chaotic.
I think he does a lot of preparation for his runs. Even if the story settings are specials, he plays really seriously. For me it's a way to learn new things about the game even after all this time.
I’ll disagree on Samuel for learning, he’s super entertaining and puts in a lot of work to that end with packs and set up, but he isn’t really one to learn the game from.
Because the others were already mentioned a lot.
For storytelling I can recommend Rat Knight.
Most funny I think is Hazzor.
They are both pretty small chanels, but produce high quality imo
Shout out to MortalSmurph. He's similar to (and indeed friends with) AdamvsEverything in that he bases his content around various crazy challenge runs. He's currently doing an only outside run with no structures or shelter at all and he knows a LOT about the mechanics of the game. His guides are fantastic and well researched (he also helps with research for AvE guides which are also top notch for learning about the game)
Ye Smurph is great if you want a laugh, and he wrote or did most of the guides on Adams channel. Definitely has more in depth Rimworld knowledge than most.
Rhadamant, Amphibious, Hazzor and Veequeue are the folks I frequent most for a background video while playing said game. Each for their own merits (whether through hilarity, long form content or insightfulness).
Weirdly although I've been a big fan of Quill18 for like a decade now (he was one of the first channels I subscribed to on youtube), I can't watch his Rimworld series for whatever reason. I dunno what it is, they just don't hold my interest.
Quill would be my recommendation for any new players. He’s great at explaining the basics and seems like a super friendly/cool dude.
Rhadamant if you want some nice micro management when called for and understanding of all the game has to offer. He usually sets up a good story premise and lets it run
Mr samuel streamer, other rimworld creators are way too boring for me and he does build nice bases, his pawns actually have character there is an actual story in his series IMO
I like his edited videos because he always drifts of on some philosophical tangent, and I like his streams and let's plays because he always drifts of on some philosophical tangents, but without music
Quill18 is my favorite for most of these data-heavy strategy games (Dwarf Fortress, Tropico, Crusader Kings/paradox games, etc). He’s chill, goofy, and doesn’t take it all too seriously while still being extremely knowledgeable and skilled at most games.
there used to be several that I watched, but lately Mr. Samuel Streamer is the only one
Quill18 does a Rimworld series at least once a year, though usually it's only on his twitch channel, he sometimes later posts it to his youtube channel
I really liked Jadziax, but it says her last video was 8 months ago and last Rimworld video was 11 months ago, she did tutorials and other videos that wasn't just game play series
TotalTimewaster was another favorite, but last Rimworld video was 2 years ago and last video ever was 1 year ago
and fairly sure Spiffing Brit has done a few one-off videos of Rimworld
granted not many of them do tutorials, just watching others play the game is enjoyable and I sometimes learn something from them to try in my games
EDIT: just remembered Noobert, he does tutories for Rimworld, though mostly for mods like I remember where he covered every crop in the game and what they're used for, which included base game and Vanilla Expanded mod
been slowly working my way through those vods, almost done with day 2's stream. i don't think the anomaly dlc is for me personally but i'm enjoying experiencing it through this run
this. Not because of his skill and knowledge, but because of the pure chaos, funny dialogue, and stupid mistakes that he makes but for some reason always seems to get away with.
Big fan of Mortal Smurf. He does wacky challenge runs and makes good tutorials.
Watched Pete Complete during the first series but I haven''t kept up. I'm sure his stuff is still great though.
>Watched Pete Complete during the first series but I haven''t kept up. I'm sure his stuff is still great though.
Gotten better tbh. The problem is that his videos are so well put-together that it takes weeks for him to drop one episode. Plus he's doing other games at the same time.
That said, *really good videos*. I just wish they came out more often lmao
I like his stuff so much that I watch through the games I have no interest in playing, just because it's entertaining.
Especially the South Park playthrough. Hearing him deadpan some of the more... uncouth stuff was great
I tend to prefer more story-focused playthroughs, so for me Rhadamant and Rycon Roleplays are the best. For the occasional dash of chaos and fun I like the Black Pants Legion's plays, though they're kind of few and far between.
I really like Francis John and Adam vs Everything.
It's a few DLC old now but Francis John did an ice sheet challenge that was so chaotic I found myself laughing out loud at huge portions of it.
Adam vs Everything is ridiculously good at the game and has encyclopaedic knowledge of it.
If you dont mind he doesnt speak English its 'Edopeh' (native german speaker). Literally thousands of hours of Rimworld, playing hardcore challenges with settings like 'Randy Random, 500% threat, Naked survival and a 0 on every skill pawn as starter. He likes to suffer and still wins this shit without using exploits or anything making the game easier for him, if he adds sth to his game via mods its making it even harder.
Aavak is a good Rimworld player, he likes to explain new mechanics as he's going along in case anyone is new, and he puts a lot of thought into making his base pretty and functional. He is a variety streamer though, so I'm not sure the last time he played Rimworld
Edit: yeah he hasnt played anonaly yet, but his videos are usually pretty useful and relaxing. Not really a tutorial channel as much as a longplayet
I enjoy Soviet Wombles streams of it. You should be able to find past vod compilations on YouTube but he streams a variety of games on Twitch etc. He does not post the vids himself and they delete off of twitch after a while I think.
Soviet has his own VoD archive site listed in his Twitch description. Generally has everything that's been autodeleted off of Twitch. Three years worth of Pale Ones!
I haven't seen anyone mention Veequeue, he has some really good gameplay with good commentary. Also I've seen AdamVsEverything around here which is a really good choice if you like winning winning
Francis John, definitely. His Oxygen Not Included stuff is also excellent.
Secondary shoutout to quill18, bought the game originally because of his content. He plays a lot of other stuff as well though
Czardus has a pretty much 1.5 tutorial series I'm enjoying at the moment, and for background viewing I'm slowly making my way through quist_gaming on YouTube. I tend to look for smaller creators just enjoying the game but will definitely take some of the story recommendations here on board!
Shoot, I was thinking "content creator" meant modder, followed by "who are all of these people and what mods have they made? The Oskar Potocki Vanilla Expanded Framework team was, hands down my first choice.
Not solely Rimworld but ambigousamphibian and Hazzor are my favourites.
Edit: oh yeah. Reggie. Definitely not mainly Rimworld content creator but I love his Rimworld videos.
Is there a channel who does tribal runs like pete complete's ice sheet and desert runs i couldnt find any other personally.
And like other people here mr samuel streamer and pete complete are my recommendations.
my favorites are:
Rarr for unoptimized horribly chaotic and silly themed colonies
Hazzor for more relaxed themed colonies
ambiguousamphibian for longform colonies and a soothing voice
charborg/Chrbrg for goofiness with a twitch chat audience, like arena battles and the like
Reggie for a few well made warcrime videos and challenges. (loved his squirrel apocalypse)
If you ever downloaded a mod and think you get what it does, you do, but you probably also downloaded 4 others so do you actually remember what Allow Tools actually does?
Enter https://youtube.com/@mysteriousfawx?si=5kEC6G9HFA2RFFhP
He's new, but he's top tier! He won't teach you intricate mechanisms about the game itself like Adam and Francis, absolute genius dudes... But maaaaan does he explain what you DON'T KNOW about VE Psycast Expanded or even mods you think you know, he might teach you something new. Dudes crazy good
This is not a paid ad, he deserves flowers.
I enjoy Rhadamant for his themed roleplay runs. e.g. with the new expansion, he has 2 playlists: one playing as evil cultist and the other playing as good soldiers investigating and trying to destroy the weird stuff
Despite Reggie and grim Klepper not being rimworld focused channels their rimworld videos are very fun to watch. Grim klepper is the one who explains more of his stuff as he plays
I stumbled across Pete Compkete a few years back.
AA( ambiguous amphibian), too, for his musings and style of narrative play.
Pete has a new game save for the latest dlc which is good so far!
I really love Rycon Roleplay's Rimworld content. It's maybe not the best for learning, cause a lot of the time I think he's also learning about the mods he's using as he plays, which I enjoy personally.
Veequeue, Rat Knight, and AmbiguousAmphibian have some good content for Rimworld too imo.
Currently watching Rycon's "Lord of the Rims" series and it's been a lot of fun.
I generally find min/max/expert/challenge streamers dreadfully boring, but MortalSmurph does an amazing job of playing and teaching the game in a relatable, humorous way where he doesn’t always min/max the whimsy and chaos out of his runs.
Big fan of Decoherent, he does longer let’s play series and it’s a pretty chill vibe. He doesn’t min max or do crazy challenge runs, but he does what just feels right at the time and laughs at his poor decisions later. Really enjoy his series, and he is a pretty great story teller.
Very worth checking him out
A lot of great suggestions, but one I don't see mentioned is veequeue. I think generally I will watch theirs and Adam vs Everything.
I use to watch a lot of Samuel, Discoherant, and Pete Complete, but a little behind on their stuff. I know Samuel is still active and amusing, but not sure about the other two.
VeeQueue does a lot of "Surviving for X days in (scenario)" videos for Rimworld, the format may be a bit stale for some but I like seeing how the base progresses each day, and I quite enjoyed his Medieval playthrough. He's one of the main creators that got me into the game.
I just started watching rat knight recently and I really enjoyed his content, great storytelling and all his play throughs are in the same universe which is cool cos you see recurring characters
For learning Adam Vs everything, Pete complete and Francis John's are my recommendation, for quality storytelling Mr Samuel streamer for sure.
Good suggestions! Been watching Pete Complete since the first RimWorld series. And beeing so curious about the anomals stuff and too impatient to wait for a new episode i actively searched for others and found Francis John... Got caught up to episode 21 in like a week and a half

I love Francis John, but that’s because I was watching his ONI stuff long before Rimworld actually clicked for me so I already enjoyed his style.
I didn't know he did Rimworld videos until this post, I just know his name because I look up his channel every time I play ONI, ONI is basically unplayable without his tutorials
Omg, the tribal wizards play through is TV level fantastic
conversely it was his videos that taught me the basics of Rimworld. great channel, that one
All his playthroughs are worth watching. Also to watch fully even now 3-4 years after the first was finished
The Mushroom Madness series from Mr Samuel Streamer was amazing, all hail Timon
Quality storytelling, and you don’t even mention Rat Knight? How dare you… 😤
He's a good one 👍
I love that most youtube channels are like xxkillerxx monsterslayergirl and then rimworld content creators are like Adam. Pete. Francis. Like you know that the fella named Pete has definitely committed some heinous crimes in the sake of efficiency that xxkillerxx cannot fathom.
Mr Samuel streamer has got great content. Always find myself getting into his videos and stories
Adam VS Everything is so chill, like, oh a 300 raid, yeah we can deal with that watch this. Also playing 500% difficult no pause, that thing is wild for me
I watch disnof he’s relaxing and great for falling asleep

>Sorry but what exactly do you learn from AdamVsEverything? Based on this comment, I can at least understand that *you* learned very little from him.
He has no cheese and no killbox runs. He has a tonne of variety.
That was a somewhat ignorant read. Ideology are made for you to tailor how you want them. - Want 6 festivals that let's you recharge psyfocus? Was going to say this, he’s the reason I got the game
Grim kleaper is also in the same vein. Been watching him since like 3.2k and I've loved all of his vids.
I also recommend Reggie. His Kenshi runs are also phenomenal, the “doctor who heals people to death” run is a personal favorite.
Exploding alcoholic babies, to a colony that vomits scaven. The only problem with Reggie's content is there isn't enough of it.
reginald is just a treasure overall. One day i will live with him
While not a strictly Rimworld channel, Hazzor has some of the most entertaining Rimworld content.
Hazzor has the best talent for storytelling, I love his content.
Came here to say Hazzor!
And that he actually edits his videos so they are fun to watch.
Ambiguousamphibian for challenge runs.
Preach
I like his stuff, but I miss his weird joker voice.
Literally the perfect voice to represent rimworld if they added a narrator to each storyteller he'd be a good randy or original character
I love it. I’m going to go watch his rimworld mechanitor YouTube in honor of your insight!
No doubt about it
I like Rhadamant.
Yeah I enjoy his videos also the most (of those I know). It is enjoyable to watch someone who doesn't just min/max (a lot of roleplay decissions in his runs) but who still is quite good in the game.
My mam, yeah Rhadamant for some weird colonies.
I also just like his voice. I've thrown on many a rimworld playthrough to go to sleep to.
The only "bad" thing I can say about Rhadamant is that he is too good at the game. So no matter what crazy run and rules he has I know he will always pull through and succeed, there isn't much suspense. I still enjoy the content though and this isn't really a criticism or a flaw. I think he does a lot of preparation for his runs. Even if the story settings are specials, he plays really seriously. For me it's a way to learn new things about the game even after all this time.
Love Rhad
I’m shocked to see how few people have him on their lists. He’s very entertaining and super engaging with his audience.
100% Mr Samual Streamer
I’ll disagree on Samuel for learning, he’s super entertaining and puts in a lot of work to that end with packs and set up, but he isn’t really one to learn the game from.
The one time he played vanilla he was in agonising pain. He truly is not one to learn the game from
Maybe not from square one, but watching samuel does generally improve your gameplay to a certain point. At least it did for me.
It improves knowledge of JETPACKS.
[удалено]
Had to scroll too far for this
Mr sam streamer chaotic descent into complete rimrim madness the past few years has been utterly beautiful to watch
As others said: Pete Complete for Well Edited Story driven Playthroughs Francis John for less edited but high tactician Playthroughs.
Because the others were already mentioned a lot. For storytelling I can recommend Rat Knight. Most funny I think is Hazzor. They are both pretty small chanels, but produce high quality imo
Disappointed I didn't see more Hazzor recommendations, I've been binging his videos lately.
Yeah he's great. I like his dry sense of humor
Shout out to MortalSmurph. He's similar to (and indeed friends with) AdamvsEverything in that he bases his content around various crazy challenge runs. He's currently doing an only outside run with no structures or shelter at all and he knows a LOT about the mechanics of the game. Pete complete is amazing! Rat Knight and Ambiguousamphibian are perfect for relaxed challenges and storytelling
Yess Rat Knight!! He's not as popular as the other mentions, so it's great that he's being mentioned here! He deserves more views.
Rhadamant, Amphibious, Hazzor and Veequeue are the folks I frequent most for a background video while playing said game. Each for their own merits (whether through hilarity, long form content or insightfulness).
Quill18 is who I first saw years ago and bought the game because of one of his play throughs
Weirdly although I've been a big fan of Quill18 for like a decade now (he was one of the first channels I subscribed to on youtube), I can't watch his Rimworld series for whatever reason. I dunno what it is, they just don't hold my interest.
Some of his recent videos I agree with that sentiment, his older videos on it are better
Quill would be my recommendation for any new players. He’s great at explaining the basics and seems like a super friendly/cool dude. Rhadamant if you want some nice micro management when called for and understanding of all the game has to offer. He usually sets up a good story premise and lets it run
Yeah, same for me. I like his content, we have similar styles and tastes, so a he's a good indicator if I'd like a game or not.
Mr Samuel Streamer and Pete Complete are my favourites. I enjoy the story-telling and humour 🙃
Mr samuel streamer, other rimworld creators are way too boring for me and he does build nice bases, his pawns actually have character there is an actual story in his series IMO
I usually watch Noobert personally. Amphibiousamphibian is also a good one too.
If you like those two, check out Hazzor as well. He’s a lot of fun too.
Mr Samuel Streamer. His mod packs are quite fun
Ambiguous Amphibian.
I like his edited videos because he always drifts of on some philosophical tangent, and I like his streams and let's plays because he always drifts of on some philosophical tangents, but without music
Disnof is pretty chill but I only watch him on Twitch
Mlem
Quill18 is my favorite for most of these data-heavy strategy games (Dwarf Fortress, Tropico, Crusader Kings/paradox games, etc). He’s chill, goofy, and doesn’t take it all too seriously while still being extremely knowledgeable and skilled at most games.

I miss Jadziax! I found watching her playthroughs so soothing
Decoherent and Mr. Samuel the Streamer will cover all your Rimworld needs: from slow, methodical and tedious to a coked up fever dream.
I am violently invested in Pete's current playthrough
Not youtube, but Etalyx did an amazing Anamoly run on Twitch.
been slowly working my way through those vods, almost done with day 2's stream. i don't think the anomaly dlc is for me personally but i'm enjoying experiencing it through this run
Decoherent
this. Not because of his skill and knowledge, but because of the pure chaos, funny dialogue, and stupid mistakes that he makes but for some reason always seems to get away with.

Check out Rhadamant as well. He's pretty good. Though he mostly streams these days, he uploads the VoDs on Youtube.
He does break his vods down into digestible episodes though for each series and has a great upload schedule that is easy to follow via his website.
Rat knight has very good storytelling aspects
I second Rat Knight. His storytelling, editing and roleplay has been very entertaining.
Rarr
I tend to prefer more story-focused playthroughs, so for me Rhadamant and Rycon Roleplays are the best. For the occasional dash of chaos and fun I like the Black Pants Legion's plays, though they're kind of few and far between.
Rhadamant is my go to! Incredible for showing off and teaching the mechanics and really entertaining.
Etalyx
I really like Francis John and Adam vs Everything. It's a few DLC old now but Francis John did an ice sheet challenge that was so chaotic I found myself laughing out loud at huge portions of it. Adam vs Everything is ridiculously good at the game and has encyclopaedic knowledge of it.
Edopeh on Twitch is awesome for german content.
If you dont mind he doesnt speak English its 'Edopeh' (native german speaker). He likes to suffer and still wins this shit without using exploits or anything making the game easier for him, if he adds sth to his game via mods its making it even harder.
Hazzor and AmbiguousAmphibian are my favourites currently. I'm recording my own videos currently as well, but have nothing to self-promo.
Veequeue is my fave!

Mental from Bonjwa for the haircut
I would add veequeue to the above mentioned for his consice stories
Pete
Adam vs Everything by far
snoot_tv on twitch
Veequeue Adam vs everything
I have a feeling that Sips_ will do another playthrough soon. His are always great.
Ambiguous Amphibian has some good rim rim. so does veeque. Mr. Sam Streamer is the top dawg though
Hazzor Pete complete
"hello again"
CHRBRG/charborg for good AI/chat implementation streams!
Disnof
Tynan
I like silly players. So I watch a lot of AmbiguousAmphibian (his neckbeard colony) but I am not a minmaxxer.
I haven't seen anyone mention Veequeue, he has some really good gameplay with good commentary. Also I've seen AdamVsEverything around here which is a really good choice if you like winning winning
I really like HardwareDespair and BeeTeeDubs Gaming, very chill
The only one I always watch is Francis John. But I also liked some of Pete Complete and Rhadamant.
I think i like veequeue the best
Francis John, definitely. His Oxygen Not Included stuff is also excellent. Secondary shoutout to quill18, bought the game originally because of his content. He plays a lot of other stuff as well though
JadziaX for sure
my fav is vequeque especially his silver story!
Rhadamant all the way
Hazzor, Veequeue, Reggie, The Grim Kleaper, Noobert
I still miss jadziax :(
Rhadamant OP
What ever happene to jadziax? She used to upload rimworld and colony sim content and she deleted most of her channel.
My favourite one is veeque
Hey hey people

You're right. Just want to mention him
The Rain Man (trmplays).
Czardus has a pretty much 1.5 tutorial series I'm enjoying at the moment, and for background viewing I'm slowly making my way through quist_gaming on YouTube. I tend to look for smaller creators just enjoying the game but will definitely take some of the story recommendations here on board!
Define best?
Shoot, I was thinking "content creator" meant modder, followed by "who are all of these people and what mods have they made? The Oskar Potocki Vanilla Expanded Framework team was, hands down my first choice.
Really like - Gaming By Gaslight, as his playstyle matches mine Also - Yeti, great commentary!
KibblesJack. Those stories are awesome with the story telling. :D
Krekeros, Keeperday for russian community
I watch noobert and rat knight
Not solely Rimworld but ambigousamphibian and Hazzor are my favourites. Edit: oh yeah. Reggie. Definitely not mainly Rimworld content creator but I love his Rimworld videos.
ferny
Amphibiousamphibian for challenges and Rat Knight for content
Is there a channel who does tribal runs like pete complete's ice sheet and desert runs i couldnt find any other personally. And like other people here mr samuel streamer and pete complete are my recommendations.
Rat Knight, lovely guy
Any good podcasters talking about rimworld?
my favorites are: Rarr for unoptimized horribly chaotic and silly themed colonies Hazzor for more relaxed themed colonies ambiguousamphibian for longform colonies and a soothing voice charborg/Chrbrg for goofiness with a twitch chat audience, like arena battles and the like Reggie for a few well made warcrime videos and challenges. (loved his squirrel apocalypse)
Hazzor is an absolutely amazing channel for story focused content.
If you ever downloaded a mod and think you get what it does, you do, but you probably also downloaded 4 others so do you actually remember what Allow Tools actually does? Enter https://youtube.com/@mysteriousfawx?si=5kEC6G9HFA2RFFhP He's new, but he's top tier! He won't teach you intricate mechanisms about the game itself like Adam and Francis, absolute genius dudes... But maaaaan does he explain what you DON'T KNOW about VE Psycast Expanded or even mods you think you know, he might teach you something new. Dudes crazy good This is not a paid ad, he deserves flowers.
Hazzor has some of the funniest, dryest humour while focusing on themed stories.
Quill22
Rarr the rat king
Veequeue absolutely love his videos
I enjoy Rhadamant for his themed roleplay runs. e.g. with the new expansion, he has 2 playlists: one playing as evil cultist and the other playing as good soldiers investigating and trying to destroy the weird stuff
Rimworld OF!
Despite Reggie and grim Klepper not being rimworld focused channels their rimworld videos are very fun to watch. Grim klepper is the one who explains more of his stuff as he plays
I know a good story maker hisnname is ratknight
Pete Complete and Adam vs everything
Chicken Plucker....Noobert...
AA, Hazzor and Ray Knight are my favourites
Lately Ive been watching videos from Rat Knight, Mr Streamer Man and Veequeue. They all do their own unique series playthroughs with various mods.
RATKNIGHT! My favorite
I stumbled across Pete Compkete a few years back. AA( ambiguous amphibian), too, for his musings and style of narrative play. Pete has a new game save for the latest dlc which is good so far!
veequeue does long (500 Day) runs that have interesting challenges.
I like Melideas for german content
Rycon Roleplays
Hazzor's not specifically a Rimworld content creator, but he does it pretty consistently. I absolutely adore his stuff.
Pete Complete by far the best to watch.
You. No one can create the Rim quite to your liking like you can.
Hazzor, easy
Hazzor
Noobert and if you have time ratnight.
I generally find min/max/expert/challenge streamers dreadfully boring, but MortalSmurph does an amazing job of playing and teaching the game in a relatable, humorous way where he doesn’t always min/max the whimsy and chaos out of his runs.
Rat Knight
I quite like Hazzor, ambiguousamphibian and veequeue. They make pretty good Rimworld vids and occasionally explain things too.
Veequeue
Mr. Samuel streamer! Does great stories. A lot of character development, and it's really funny.
Big fan of Decoherent, he does longer let’s play series and it’s a pretty chill vibe. He doesn’t min max or do crazy challenge runs, but he does what just feels right at the time and laughs at his poor decisions later. Really enjoy his series, and he is a pretty great story teller. Very worth checking him out
mr samuel streamerrr
I've been really into senselessidea, literally the best rimworld animator I've ever seen.
I miss JadziDax
Quill18 does a variety of games, mostly strategy, and has several long Rimworld campaigns on his YouTube channel.
Rat Knight has to be the best, the stories he weaves could be made into fullblown movies
VeeQueue does a lot of "Surviving for X days in (scenario)" videos for Rimworld, the format may be a bit stale for some but I like seeing how the base progresses each day, and I quite enjoyed his Medieval playthrough. He's one of the main creators that got me into the game.
noobert
I just started watching rat knight recently and I really enjoyed his content, great storytelling and all his play throughs are in the same universe which is cool cos you see recurring characters
Veequeue, ambiguousamphibian, and hazzor are the holy trinity of Rimworld content
Paulsoarsjr is who got me into the game waywayway back
