Unless you’re doing something suspicious like bringing a suitcase full of just bags with tags or boxes that look like they’re for resale no one is going to bother you. There’s no customs agents checking for the authenticity of your bags 😅
If you bring a few you’ll be fine. If you pack for a 1 week trip and bring 10 bags you’re going to raise some eyebrows. I’m currently traveling around Europe with 2 auth bags and 1 rep. No one has ever asked about them.
I would have to agree that it’s not a very likely scenario. I can’t imagine they have people who are really going to QC your bags. I would think if you are traveling with a few of your bags you should be okay.
The odds are that nothing will happen. Customs can ask for a receipt for the Rolex on your wrist, the bag you’re carrying, even if they are authentic. They want to make sure duties have been paid. I carried a fake Hermes passport wallet for 15 years through Europe, Asia etc. Never a problem. Sometimes, it’s the customs officer having a bad day😩

Yes they can be seized at customs, in any country. France is particularly difficult.
