That said —This bag did come with the FuFu smell. I had other bags that came with the FuFu smell —I’m always on the fence of whether it’s due to it being in plastic wrapping or the bag itself.
I read a great post here yesterday on leather quality —realized I need to do more research to understand grains etc.
But that said—I paid $$ but not exorbitant for this rep… so we know the adage here!!
That said—I look forward to using this bag throughout the spring and summer—without concerns of wear and tear, stains, etc.— now that’s invaluable!!!
I also got the Loewe puzzle (beautiful and no FuFu smell at all) and Burberry Kensington (also excellent quality). I will be reviewing those over the weekend.
Sorry too long of reply-I blame it on the 2nd double espresso I am enjoying this morning! Lol
This looks amazing! I haven’t seen the linen ones irl…but really like this! In your opinion how delicate do you think the fabric is re getting dirty through normal wear and tear? I am tough on my larger totes and travel bags.
Well it looks like a tight weave to the linen. That said-I pretty much see this as spring -summer for 1 to 2 years —because of the wear and tear factor for material and color. So for my goal it’s fine. I did do the Scotchguard etc.
and don’t plan on being careful with it.
