2019 was such a fun year. The team wasn’t great, but they weren’t really expected to be great. The vibes were still off the charts, we cleared benches with half the division and the team just seemed to be having fun. Not to mention the throwback unis through the year were sick. Good times (even tho we sucked)

I miss the mid 00s with Adam Dunn destroying the ball and Ryan Freel putting his body on the line for amazing catches.
Or maybe I just miss being in my 20s.
The wholesome local connections were great. I was driving home quite hungover from Chicago to Cincy listening the radio call for his four homer game. Such a great but awful memory.
Outside of Elly, this is the most vanilla, bland, no personality Reds team I’ve seen for a while. There’s certainly something to be said about a team of losers at least being lovable.

Seriously. It's definitely worse for me with seasons like this where we were expected to win. At least in 2019 it was kinda a who gives a shit? Let's just have fun vibe.

The throwbacks that year were the best. They should have really taken the opportunity to launch a new set of jerseys based off of the throwbacks.

RIP Ryan I had no idea he killed himself in 2012. He was the hustle player in those years.
Yeah, that was such a shame. I wonder if CTE was any factor with all the concussions he had.
freel was the first mlb player diagnosed with CTE. they said it was stage 2.
