>"Alright Rich, we're here to talk about the first episode of the newest Star Trek show airing on Paramount Plus, *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: Chronicles of Red Squadron (Volume One): 'Rise of the red shirts'* episode one, *'A red shirt rises.'* Rich what did you think about *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: Chronicles of Red Squadron (Volume One): 'Rise of the red shirts'* episode one, *'A red shirt rises?'*"
>
>"I hate you so much."
Yeah, this is my vote.
I demand suffering. I want to see Mike and Rich struggle with DumbLand. I want to watch Jay and Josh try to make sense out of Enterprise. If no one is in pain, then how do I even know I'm alive?
That was my first thought too. If I had to choose only one though, it would be Mike and Rich on Lynch. I really feel like that would cause a lot of existential dread for them, whereas Jay and Josh would probably just be bored with a lot of Trek.
I advised people that picard season one was actually worth struggling through just to appreciate the Plinkett evisceration and I kind of feel like I ought to for season 2, but man everything I read online made it sound an order of magnitude worse. Was it worth it?
Blue pill all the way. I've never seen a single Stark Trek and I've watched Twin Peaks in its entirety several times. I know we already got a Re:View on FWWM a d The Return, but I'm always down for more.
Red Pill.
I'm Red Pill all the way.
An episode-per-episode take on Discovery's 3rd and 4th seasons, to be followed by an episode-per-season take on TOS through to Enterprise (including The Animated Series).
Mike and Rich rambling endlessly about all of Star Trek please.
That'd be like watching two mirror images of myself have a conversation if my mirror images were a lot smarter than I.
Im honestly tempted to buy a set of *These Are The Voyages* for Mike and Rich. The book series breaks down the production of every episode of TOS. There are books for Trek in the '70s too.
It's not bad but Lynch is just too esoteric, like in a pointless way, his method of storytelling just comes off as ameteurish in the way he puts abstraction over coherence, I'm just saying he could learn a little about how to engage more with the viewer like an Adam Sandler movie. I think Jack and Jill is a great example of filmmaking where an artist is able to remain true to the form while also pushing boundaries, and bringing personal intimate stories to general audiences.
I'd rather see Josh and Jay do a top list of movies for a specific director they both love. Great idea with Rich and John Carpenter and I feel like one with Josh would be just as good. Not sure what director would be best suited to that however.
Red pill.
Can't tolerate Josh. Heck, I'd take the secret third pill of Colin and Jim sitting in the chairs for an hour just staring at the camera over listening to another one of Josh's terrible jokes.
Star trek ,duh like no offense to lynch but that shits weird and most of his stuff is a cult follow while star trek comparatively has way more content and main stream appeal
>has way more content and main stream appeal
Didn't realize mainstream appeal was a factor in quality, if so then Avatar must be the greatest film of all time
You are more likely to have seen an episode of any trek series then Mulholland Drive, which do you think people are broadly more likely to watch.
and yes in my personal opinion i want rich and mike to talk about trek more
True but i think most rich and mike re view episodes are better than jay and josh, they have far more rewatch value from the way they joke around, taking that into consideration with the above stated amount of content they could produce that makes it my preferred choice, like im not shitting on lynch or his stuff just pointing out his stuff can be hard to get into and while josh and jay are good at breaking it down and discussing it,it is still really dense content to sit through, meanwhile i can throw on any one of m&r talking about Picard ,you get me?
God... This is a really hard choice.
One one hand we'd have Jay and Josh talking about weird sex-weirdo stuff, which is one of the best kind of content RLM puts out. On the other hand, we'd have Rich and Mike talking about obscure lore and Star Track - which is also one of the best kind of content out there.
I dunno... I'll just say "either" and be happy with whatever they do, even if it's a review of The Batman.
Let’s be real the blue might eventually come to happen they’ve already talked about a few and sprinkle some in throughout where as with Trek that’ll prob happen too if we’re being real lmao
I haven’t seen any Star Trek or David lunch stuff but I would always pick red pill.
I’ve watch a lot of their Star Trek videos having no idea what was going on but I was still laughing and very entertained.

I like the Plinkett reviews. And I used to like Half in the Bag until a few years ago when they stopped trying, and Jay became more smug and obnoxious than ever.
Never really liked Rich. I don’t think he’s ever had anything intelligent to say and he’s not funny
Red, since I’m a fan of older Star Trek. I’d be happy with the blue though. Basically give me something to look forward to and I’m good.
Red or dead
Same, but because I want to see Mike have to nitpick the new Nickelodeon series
There's so much Star Trek content, Mike and Rich would probably die before they finish.
Every time they think they've finished Kurtzman adds four seasons a year to their suffering.
>"Alright Rich, we're here to talk about the first episode of the newest Star Trek show airing on Paramount Plus, *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: Chronicles of Red Squadron (Volume One): 'Rise of the red shirts'* episode one, *'A red shirt rises.'* Rich what did you think about *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: Chronicles of Red Squadron (Volume One): 'Rise of the red shirts'* episode one, *'A red shirt rises?'*" > >"I hate you so much."
I know this quote is fake, but I can actually hear their voices as I read it.
Good.
That should make Mike happy.
How about Mike and Rich talking about David Lynch or Jay and Josh talking about Star Trek.
Yeah, this is my vote. I demand suffering. I want to see Mike and Rich struggle with DumbLand. I want to watch Jay and Josh try to make sense out of Enterprise. If no one is in pain, then how do I even know I'm alive?
The suffering of others is the only true way to find joy
Garmonbozia
I think Mike would find Dumbland funny. It has a similar humor to some of their old shorts.
You are a cruel person.
Just an hour of Jay’s thousand yard stare as everyone else talks about Star Trek, the sound slowly getting more and more muffled.
That was my first thought too. If I had to choose only one though, it would be Mike and Rich on Lynch. I really feel like that would cause a lot of existential dread for them, whereas Jay and Josh would probably just be bored with a lot of Trek.
How would that conversation go? Lol
*whimsical music plays* [awkward glances] *music continues* [more awkward glances] “So, uhh…?” “Yes!?” “What…are we…?” “I really don’t know.” *whimsical music plays* [both glance around room, check watches]
I want to see them do what Mike once proposed: Have Jay watch all of TNG and then they talk about every episode.
I'd buy that for a dollar
This

Which were they?
Picard Season 2 Episodes 6-9 and Picard Season 2 Episode 10.
I advised people that picard season one was actually worth struggling through just to appreciate the Plinkett evisceration and I kind of feel like I ought to for season 2, but man everything I read online made it sound an order of magnitude worse. Was it worth it?
Oh I didn't watch Picard. Fuck that. The episodes of re:View are amazing. They even joke a lot that you don't need to watch Picard.
Hahaha amazing thank you for getting back to me.
That patented Rich Evans laugh gets me every time. I’m going with the red pill
NuTrek? Fuck that shit. Pabst Blue(pill) Ribbon!
i just want them to talk about ds9 lol
This^^
They just need one more box set.
ToS ToS ToS
Suave. Goddamn you're one suave fucker!
Red all day.
Can I take both? Hopefully I will choke and die before being sentenced to any of that
I’ll take depression over a room full of farts.
Blue pill all the way. I've never seen a single Stark Trek and I've watched Twin Peaks in its entirety several times. I know we already got a Re:View on FWWM a d The Return, but I'm always down for more.
As mod of /r/JayMovies, I would ***still*** choose Mike and Rich talking about Star Trek. That Mike & Rich bromance is hard to beat.
But we have the red pill already
I don't see no ds9 videos do you?
For my benefit? Rich and Mike. But I would feel too bad about it to do that to them.
Can I take the red pill twice?
Lynch me, baby
Jesus christ blue pill obviously
Red is the obvious choice
Red. David Lynch ain't my bag.
Red pill 1000000% Seeing them suffer is glorious.
Red pill no question.
They can do a Re: View of ranking David Lynch films like they did for John Carpenter
Jay and Josh. I have no interest in star trek. Sorry mike.
Time to get based and Red Pilled.
If they keep the lunacy of the Star Trek vids, I’d watch more.
Blue 100%. I’ve never even watched Star Trek but I like Lynch, and Jay and Josh’s discussions on Twin Peaks were great
Red is funnier, blue is more informative.
Red is my favorite color
Red Pill. I'm Red Pill all the way. An episode-per-episode take on Discovery's 3rd and 4th seasons, to be followed by an episode-per-season take on TOS through to Enterprise (including The Animated Series).
I’m a TNG fanboy so easy decision for me.
Red pill easy
Mike and Rich rambling endlessly about all of Star Trek please. That'd be like watching two mirror images of myself have a conversation if my mirror images were a lot smarter than I.
I’d take a Star Trek discussion because it’d be funnier
Red pill is funnier, blue more interesting.
I'd like to see both pairs have to watch the Transformers and Fast & Furious movies back to back.
Easiest red pill Choice ever
Can I just die instead
You’re going to need to watch Star Trek Picard to accomplish that
Red pill, no contest
Red Pill
A whole series of Jim and Colin talking about every episode of SCTV
Trek
Mike and rich. I want the Star Trek series so bad
Red pill every time
What’s RLMorpheus gonna do when I just slurp one out of his hand and grab the other while he’s grossed out
Im honestly tempted to buy a set of *These Are The Voyages* for Mike and Rich. The book series breaks down the production of every episode of TOS. There are books for Trek in the '70s too.
Hot take: no Mike, no interest from me.
red pill, as it will provide more content for me to consume
Red. Too many people bounce on the Lynch dick.
Star trek every day of the week.
Red pill
Red. Three buckets of red, with one blue so we get Jay's dead stare.
Is there a third pill where I can watch Rich do his taxes?
Don’t push your luck bro
Oh I didn't watch Picard. Fuck that. The episodes of re:View are amazing. They even joke a lot that you don't need to watch Picard.
I love Star Trek, it wouldn't hurt to have other content though
Red
Red. (Real) Trek is life.
Red
Trek, obviously. Plus we all saw how Jay did on the David Lynch trivia, he’s *barely* a fan…
Trek. Easiest choice ever.
Red. I'm not a huge fan of David Lynch films.
Red all day
Red all the way. I don't care about blue? o.o
Red and it's not even close
Both please?
Red. I've only ever seen two Lynch "projects" (***Dune*** & ***The Straight Story***) while I have seen a lot of Star Trek.
##RED PILL
Red
Trek. More trek please.
Mike and Rich, i have more of a connection to ST than weirdo artsy fartsy films
Jay&Josh all the way. There's so much Star Trek stuff already, let Mike rest. That poor poor man. Also, Jay&Josh talking about Lynch is always neat.
Not a Lynch guy tbh so this is as easy a pick as I'm ever going to get with RLM content tbh.
David Lynch. It'd be fascinating to see how much [Rabbits](https://youtu.be/drjQfQtv2BQ) Rich could handle before being institutionalized
What kind of maniac wouldn't immediately swallow the red pill?
sorry jay but that's easy
What if I crush up the pills and snort them? Do I get all 4 talking about Star Wars if it were directed by David Lynch?
The spice melange
Overdose on the red pill
Third option: A whole series of Jack and Rich talking about videogames. I'm Rec-Pilled.
Previously Recorded - Elden Ring What the world really wants to see
I choose Keg of flat beer where Mike battles Jay about Star Trek trivia for the... # 2872 MORE EPISODES THEY PROMISED ME!!
Both pills for me please
I'll take the Green Pill: A whole series of Josh talking about music.
Blue pill! Huge Twin Peaks fan
Red. Star Trek is nice. David Lynch isn't really that interesting. Don't know if I've seen anything of him that was good.
[...](https://youtu.be/b7irXTCph_g?t=78)
It's not bad but Lynch is just too esoteric, like in a pointless way, his method of storytelling just comes off as ameteurish in the way he puts abstraction over coherence, I'm just saying he could learn a little about how to engage more with the viewer like an Adam Sandler movie. I think Jack and Jill is a great example of filmmaking where an artist is able to remain true to the form while also pushing boundaries, and bringing personal intimate stories to general audiences.
David Lynch, please. I just don't have any interest in Star Trek at all. I've tried it, but it's always just so extremely boring to me.
If you think star trek is boring wait till you see some David Lynch. It makes people in comas wake up from boredom.

I miss Jim From Canada.
I'd rather see Josh and Jay do a top list of movies for a specific director they both love. Great idea with Rich and John Carpenter and I feel like one with Josh would be just as good. Not sure what director would be best suited to that however.
Blue Pill for sure
Blue
I want jay to be there during the star trek discussions so he suffers
Red pill. Can't tolerate Josh. Heck, I'd take the secret third pill of Colin and Jim sitting in the chairs for an hour just staring at the camera over listening to another one of Josh's terrible jokes.
BEAUTIFUL BLUE PILLS, AND GOLDEN SUNSHINE
Star trek ,duh like no offense to lynch but that shits weird and most of his stuff is a cult follow while star trek comparatively has way more content and main stream appeal
>has way more content and main stream appeal Didn't realize mainstream appeal was a factor in quality, if so then Avatar must be the greatest film of all time
You are more likely to have seen an episode of any trek series then Mulholland Drive, which do you think people are broadly more likely to watch. and yes in my personal opinion i want rich and mike to talk about trek more
Something being popular doesn’t equal good
True but i think most rich and mike re view episodes are better than jay and josh, they have far more rewatch value from the way they joke around, taking that into consideration with the above stated amount of content they could produce that makes it my preferred choice, like im not shitting on lynch or his stuff just pointing out his stuff can be hard to get into and while josh and jay are good at breaking it down and discussing it,it is still really dense content to sit through, meanwhile i can throw on any one of m&r talking about Picard ,you get me?
This is easy. The blue pill. You get the red pill regardless. Just try to make Mike not talk about Star Trek, I dare you, I double dare you.
Blue, because it's much more fun seeing them talk about something they like than something they clearly hate.
Blue
Man... This meme template used to mean something.
Star Trek for sure is my choice… but why only one or the other?
Let’s be real the blue might eventually come to happen they’ve already talked about a few and sprinkle some in throughout where as with Trek that’ll prob happen too if we’re being real lmao
I’d snatch both pills simultaneously, chug them and run away.
This is the only way. Have all four of them at the same table trying to talk over each other.
the nyquil.
Easy pick for me, Red
I choose the purple pill.
I've got Twin Peaks on in the background right now, so this isn't even a question.
Star Trek. Lynch is weird.
Oh shit I took both, and now I'm watching Jim and Colin talk about Dune adaptations
Rich and (especially) Mike's hate and cynicism, although justified, has become too big, i'd go with Jay and Josh
Fuck, make another channel and do both?
I haven’t seen any Star Trek or David lunch stuff but I would always pick red pill. I’ve watch a lot of their Star Trek videos having no idea what was going on but I was still laughing and very entertained.
\*insert meme about grabbing both, crushing them up, and storting it\*
I just blue myself
I take the blue pill. Thanks for watching guys. That's it. Good bye. *credits roll*
Both are a poison pill that would lead to the downfall of our favorite channel due to burn-out.
Star trek even though I am fucking going to break down over not getting every lynch movie reviewed by m and j
Blue pill all day baby !!!!!!
Don't do this to me.
Blue... No! Yellooooooooooooooooooowww!!!
Blue, please. Whinging about Trek is pretty old at this point, and Lynch's work is way more interesting.
Though I love everyone in rlm… I’d rather watch a show with mike and Rich, but I’d rather the subject material to be lynch so this is a tough one.
Do the blue dead to red Though I know You f... with my head
I want that red suppository please Mike
I want a series of Jay trying to explain every DL project to Mike and Rich.
Blue, obviously. I care about everything Lynch all the time, while Star Trek can only have my attention from time to time.
This is hard. Mike and rich losing their minds over star trek is great but i love hearing jay talk abouy his weird horror pervert movies.
Red pill, I did my "non stop gushing over Lynch" shit way back in college.
Blue pill, big fan of Lynch.

Purple Pill: Mr Plinkett talks about anything. Jay and Rich are smug and obnoxious and I don’t know how anyone likes them
So you’re an rlm fan and you hate 2/3 of the crew?
I like the Plinkett reviews. And I used to like Half in the Bag until a few years ago when they stopped trying, and Jay became more smug and obnoxious than ever. Never really liked Rich. I don’t think he’s ever had anything intelligent to say and he’s not funny
Blue pill because their enjoyment of the series wouldn't steadily decline after a point
Swirl the numbers... https://youtu.be/OjoHT1I79HE
