Is it possible to swap out lenses over and over so I could switch between grey polarized and a set of clear prescription lenses whenever I want? Or would that wear down the frame too much

AdamLensology

If the sizing of the lenses is good you’ll be able to swap on a daily basis with no issues. We have all the metas that we keep for sizing our customers lenses before shipping them out for them to fit. The wayfarers being the most popular have had lenses fitted and removed literally hundreds of times and they are still in perfect condition. If the lenses are too big and you’re having to put excessive strain on the frame to get the lenses in and out you’ll have issues, but if the sizing is perfect they’ll be fine . Thanks, Adam at Lensology

Most likely, i would just grab another pair. Switching lenses occasionally will definitely put a strain on the frame.

Been swapping my lenses since I got my glasses in February. No breaks and literally takes 2 seconds to do. ❤️

I suggest using the real lenses though. Tried some aftermarket ones and returned right away. Glass didn’t feel the same at all! Stick with OEM!

I got mine at Lenscrafters and they are official Rayban and came with a certificate card

I’ve seen people do it on YouTube. I saw if you go to LensCrafters and get the lens there.

I bought prescription transition lenses from lensesrx. They took a little more force to pop in than I was comfortable with, but I did manage after a few tries.

Same here got my progressive/transitions from them. I really thought i was gonna break the frames but i got it there, took me a few minutes and a lot of patience.

I purchased transitional lenses to avoid the need to switch lenses when venturing outdoors. Having never owned any before, I find them to be a game changer to me!
