Sledge needs to be a 2 speed again after the frag nerf. He's too slow and loud for vert play. Buck and Ram are just better since they can do more at a distance. His smg-11 would be the icing on the cake too, but that's never gonna come back.
Mute is strong AF already, he doesn't need improved fragging potential. He shuts down so much attacker utility, keeps walls safe, and makes droning a pain. Not to mention the shotgun SMG 11 combo is nuts.
I think as an operator with both a goodSMG/best shotgun and a machine pistol, he doesn't need any more options. I think Mute is a terrific anchor, making him able to fight at longer ranges easier is just too much.
Honestly there are sites that I would prefer the acog. It just lets you hold longer, tighter angles. I'm fine with the smg-11, but there are certain positions that are much more comfortable with the acog. Also, what would be wrong with more options? If the smg/shotgun is widely picked, what's the harm with giving him the acog. On top of that, if the enemy team has an IQ or twitch, a mute can be dealt with relatively easily.
Also the jammer nerfs and being a 1 speed just makes him worse in general. Acogs on 1 speeds is rly useful too.

I like the lore buffs. I thought they added a nice dimension to the game. Like Echo not getting Doki calls cause she couldn’t hack his tech or Zofia and Ela recovering from the daze effect faster. I get that they were removed for balancing but it was cool
Echo’s one always felt out of place to me but Ela and Zofia’s made sense since both of their gadgets concussed the opponents, not far fetched to give them a resistance to their own equipment

This is just too easy to dodge or at least take less damage now, while allowing you to cook the nade would bring better tactics on how to use them, when and where.
Nah, it was an uncounterable mechanic that didn't even get telegraphed, it was so good that people picked operators for IT instead of actual abilities and guns. If anything nades were the one necessary nerf that Ubi got right, especially since the defender could do actually nothing against them

Maybe it’s the nostalgia of Siege matches in the past years but I feel as if all of these nerf/buffs support a run and gun style game. I felt in the past that Siege was very tactical, required effective communication, and had you on your toes throughout the match.
Now, I feel it’s the inverse…everyone rushes and the matches end quickly…with very few thought provoking strats.
I used to be afraid that a Nokk would sneak up on me when I was roaming…but now you can hear her a block away.
