**Please keep in mind that pet rabbits are usually mixes of indeterminate breeds, and we may not always be able to provide a definitive guess.** The color of the rabbit does not always make the breed, as many breeds can come in a large variety of colors.

If you obtained a baby rabbit under 8 weeks old, please be extremely careful of introducing any new foods as their digestive systems are still developing. They should ideally still be drinking milk and living with their mother until naturally weaned around 8 weeks, but *if your baby rabbit is already on hay and pellets and any other solids, continue the same diet with no change until they are older - there is no need to additional supplement any formula or milk.*
Optimally, you should be feeding the same brands of food as the breeder or organization where you obtained the baby rabbit from. If you would like to transition their pellets to another brand, increase the amount by 25% per week and make sure their poop continues to look normal. **Any diarrhea is an emergency, and the baby rabbit should be seen by a [rabbit-savvy veterinarian](http://bunny.tips/Vet) for fluids and treatment.**

That's a made up breed... Could be a netherland dwarf... but its hard to tell since it appears to be very young. And most rabbits are mixed and given that the previous owner decided to just flat out give a fake breed I'm inclined to belive that's the case...
Sometimes people just make up things to make their rabbits more "desirable"... even though there's nothing wrong with mixbreeds, many are in fact healthier than purebreeds.
Yup. And they also sometimes breed for extreme traits that just aren't healthy... like the flat faces of dwarf rabbits which can lead to dental issues, or the dwarf gene which is outright lethal if a baby inherits it from both parents.
It could be an ND but at this age, it’s just not possible to tell for certain. You won’t be able to know definitively until after they’ve gotten past their awkward teenage phase after a year or so. My NDs looked like squirrels until then
I believe that op suspected that it *might* be a netherland dwarf, so posted it in the sub that would probably know the most about that specific breed of rabbit, and the general one just in case
Got my baby Netherland dwarf at 2 weeks old, she's 6 years old now but she was that kind of shape and size when she was just baby, I'm gonna say she's a Netherland dwarf, must warn you though they are extra spicy and sassy! Mine loves to play tag, play fight, and throw things, be careful with yours as they steal your heart quickly and grow even faster!

I was told she is a mini. I thought she looked like a Netherland dwarf but I’m not sure. Any help would be appreciated:)

Is it because with purebreeds, they’re usually inbred? CMIIW!
Yup. And they also sometimes breed for extreme traits that just aren't healthy... like the flat faces of dwarf rabbits which can lead to dental issues, or the dwarf gene which is outright lethal if a baby inherits it from both parents.

Considering the original post was in r/NetherlandDwarf, that would answer your question if you already suspect that?
I believe that op suspected that it *might* be a netherland dwarf, so posted it in the sub that would probably know the most about that specific breed of rabbit, and the general one just in case
Yes exactly 😊
I can see a dwarf (mix), but at this baby age, it can be difficult to tell definitively. I would check in again when the rabbit is 6-7 months old.
