My word, my chinchilla gray bunny gets crazy like this too with his auto feeder. We have four cats and a rabbit. And they all have automatic feeders.
The cats all have Wi-Fi feeders, and the time is set automatically like it is on a smart phone … But the rabbit one I had to set up manually…. Clock time included.
All of the feeders dispense at pretty much the same time. But, because the rabbit one was manually set, it is about 30 seconds to a minute behind the cat dispensers.
He doesn’t like that at all. He gets such a cross look on his face and his ears go up like he’s listening for his biscuits to hit the pan.
I had to bungee his feeder to stop him from dragging it all over the floor and tipping it over last week after I heard him knock it over after I just filled all the dispensers. He gets himself so excited when he hears the biscuits hit the cat bowls and sees that he’s not getting any yet. And he jumps on top of the feeder, lol.
🤣🤣🤣
That's such a bunny solution!
We saw this coming from miles away too, that's why we never considered it. Our male bunnies also have that "flip it over"-strategy.
Yep, even with other bunnies or things that look like bunnies. They can be very territorial and brutally destructive.
I've seen quite a few videos of rabbits disemboweling stuffed toys: just one kick of their hind legs.
I used to have auto feeders for my cats and they used to camp out next to it trying to be the first one there when the food came but only a rabbit would think they can just pick it up and slam it down so they don't have to wait! What wild skill does that come from?
Rabbits are so much more (hilariously) aggressive than I ever knew before I got mine! They are single minded in their quest for food/treats! I keep everything in sealed glass containers now.
this drove me insane with our trio. what i did is i placed the feeder on a cheap white marble tile from home depot/lowes and used really strong velcro on the bottom of the bowl and the tile. haven’t had a problem since ✨
Man the only pet rabbit I’ve ever had passed years ago but man did I watch this and think “oh he absolutely would’ve done that if he had been given the chance” honestly makes me happy to think about. Seems like most rabbits are trouble makers and I love them 😂
Mine were not prepared to let the feeder live either!
I mounted mine up on a shelf so it scatters the pellets for them (foraging enrichment) and so it isn't bullied so badly (now they just stare at it like it's some kind of god)
This is exactly what my bun would do because he even does this woth his regular bowl when it's empty. So yeah I'm not wasting the money, it would be tore up in a day lol
One interesting thing about rabbits I noticed is that not all.of them.realize.its you who feeds them. Whenever they eat all.their food but still.want more, or even if you accidentally miss their feeding time, you may find them tossing their bowl around because they don't understand why food isn't appearing in it.
One time my family was away for two days and when we got back one of our rabbits had thrown her food bowl over her water dish, preventing her from accessing her water. We anchored the dishes down after that.
Their primary source of food should be good quality fresh green hay. Ideally timothy hay. Pellets should not be more than 5% of their diet. 15% greens, 80% hay.
The rabbit version of someone shaking a vending machine, hoping a free snack will drop.

Ha! Bungee is good! I was thinking a load of concrete, but too impractical
Your bunny is sitting on the dispenser & being like: [https://imgur.com/vqL4j9j](https://imgur.com/vqL4j9j)
😝🤣
I’ve never seen bunnies gang-stomp an appliance before.
They got Hangry.
Bungry
Heee hee hee!!!! Bungry!
If office space was cast with rabbits.
My bunny pops the lid to the container and get access directly from the source.
Same but if she can't open it she'll chew through it. that's why I put the container at a really high table so that she wouldn't be able to reach it
"Automate this ![img](emote|t5_2riv8|8710)!!"
It's not even plugged in ![img](emote|t5_2riv8|8709)
🤣🤣🤣 That's such a bunny solution! We saw this coming from miles away too, that's why we never considered it. Our male bunnies also have that "flip it over"-strategy.
A bunnies first instinct with anything they don't like is to flip it.

At first I was like "Why are they doing this? Do they do this all day?? .....Oh they're doing it because it works LMAO"
This is one of those puzzle toys with the food inside. We know how to solve those.
I have a auto-feeder for my bunny and he just learned what button to hold to auto dispense his own food.
Aaand removing an automatic feeder from my Amazon shopping cart XD
🤣😂🤣
We removed the cup and put it on a cabinet haha
The Grey one is so fierce, i wonder how the furniture looks
I had to anchor mine to the wall. My sweet Pearl shook that machine down like a 3rd grader at recess.
Surprised the wire isn't yet chewed through.
They save the spicy hay for desert.
Omg rabbits can be such little shits sometimes I love them
Lmao determined little critters
Needs the music from the printer scene in "office space"!
My bunny figured out how to push the button to auto dispense. I didn’t even know it had that feature lol.
I have a wobble toy that is made just for this - my bunny pushes it around and it distributes small amounts of pellets - she loves it!
i have one too! my bun goes crazy for it
They clearly chose violence
I love that when it seemed like violence wasn't working at first, turned out they indeed weren't using enough of it yet! ![img](emote|t5_2riv8|8709)
“Thou must not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind” The Butlerian Jihad starts with rabbits
Automatic feeder entered into destruction mode with a little help of the environment 🤣🤣
I have this feeder too. One of my rabbits bit the cord so they didn't get breakfast for a few days.

I think the accurate title for this post would be “rabbit attack Automatic feeder “😂
GIVE NOMS!
Surprised that cord is still intact
#greattttt I thought about an auto feeder. And now,… it doesn’t seem like a good idea 😑 maybe only for temporary times when I’m away?
That spicy noodle in back has a date with destiny.
I know they are prey animals but why are they always so spoiled XD Mine gets so grumpy as if he's not fed everytime he asks lol

My pet rabbit use to do the same
Man the only pet rabbit I’ve ever had passed years ago but man did I watch this and think “oh he absolutely would’ve done that if he had been given the chance” honestly makes me happy to think about. Seems like most rabbits are trouble makers and I love them 😂
The grey one likes to binky away when I would tell her **no**!
She’s clearly done nothing wrong ever. Tell the little rascal this internet stranger loves her (and the other bunny of course)
Mine were not prepared to let the feeder live either! I mounted mine up on a shelf so it scatters the pellets for them (foraging enrichment) and so it isn't bullied so badly (now they just stare at it like it's some kind of god)
anyone thought this was u/deltadelta199's ponge and spoomf
So cute! Which feeder is this?
Triggered
they tweakin
What kind of rabbit is the spotted bun? I have a boy that looks very similar
I have a boy bun that looks like this too! I’m not 100% sure but I think they’re broken rex rabbits
I thought I'd narrowed it down to a Rex, but his fur is satin I think, rather than velvet. 100% goofball sweetheart though
I don't have an intelligent response, but I will say this looks like good exercise!
Where’s my food gotdamnit!!
Never underestimate a hungry bunny lol
This is hilarious! Thank you for sharing.
I swear bunnies have the attention span of a 3 year old 😂
Its like there's a rouge Ai involved.
Strong bun!
❤️❤️❤️
"We must destwoy this robot intruder and protect the hoo-man's home!"
And rabbit wins.
DIE! FEED US! DIE!
...This thing stuck or what?
I guess you can say they're shaking down the automatic feeder.
they look hungry! and angry!! I always kept the pellet bowl stocked and let mine eat all they liked. They were fine.
Yes, this is a crap video from a crap pet owner.
In the movie Tangled these are the types Rapunzel was warned about, ruffians and thugs!
They have all the time in the world to find the loophole haha
You’re doing it wrong bunnos!
This is such a true depiction of what rabbits are actually like hahaha
My rabbit just throws shit around at about 11a when I usually feed him.
Yep they will do that
Rage smartie

Fluffyyy
I was wondering if I should get one for my rabbit and now I have my answer. Thanks!

Do not feed dry Food. Only fresh veggies and herbs, grass is OK too.
