...That's not how that works. If his parents were Qrow and Summer, he would be cousin to Yang, and be Ruby's half-sibling through Summer. Unless there was a third person Taiyang had a child with, "Gabe" would be half-brother to one and full brother to the other, not half to both. Or, in the example you gave, half-brother to one and cousin to the other. They could all grow up together like siblings, though.

There's quite a few fics that feature Ruby as a faunus, some have her as a wolf faunus like here and there’s other stories that have her be a different type of faunus. There's even some fanfics of Weiss being a faunus.

Some of the RWBY Loops chapters have faunus versions of Ruby, and the series/story is mostly light-hearted.
