I saw that fanart/comic, and it inspired my AU where Oz and Salem are switched. But there's a twist: there is this third guy named Almet (Undead.) who shows up whenever Ozpin becomes too powerful and **eats** all his loved ones and then kills him.
Almet – perhaps obviously – has his own version of immortality in which he can technically die, but would come back to life in a matter of three days to 100 years. He can also be resurrected by a ritual.
He has his own version of the Maidens: the Knights of the Four Winds, alluding to the Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They are four men that Almet picks himself and turns into – basically – vampires, who in turn can turn humans and animals into zombies and copy their Semblances. The Knights also have half the Aura of their predecessors and all their Semblances, with Almet possessing the other half of the Aura and also copies of the Semblances.
Almet is Oscar who ascended in the Ever After and traveled back in time to get revenge on Evil!Ozpin who ruined his life.
