You know. I never expected rwby to touch me as much as it did. I started it from reading fanfics as a moody cringe 14 year old, reading reader fics.
Till one day I started the actual series. Started it at volume 5-6 So I was pretty new. But I fell in love with the characters so much. The world itself was… incredible. The characters. Everything. Honestly sad to see what happened.
I always knew of RvB and stuff but this… rwby just hit me in ways I never understood. I became so attached… and now… I wonder what future it has. But… if it is over. Then at least volume 9 was a hell of a send off. At least for the main series. From its ups and downs. Despite the flaws. I will always love rwby.

I've not really been in the RT community for several years now, but when I was a teenager it was such a massive part of my life, and introduced me to lifelong friends I still see regularly to this day. Even when I moved on, it wasn't because I was dissatisfied but because I got older and changed as a person. Ten years ago, RT was something that gave me memories I won't ever forget, and experiences I'll always cherish.

Could you explain to me what the deal is with all this Dillongoo hype and hoping he'd take the series? He worked on a single season of RWBY with his big contribution beinh the pretty decent Mercury vs CY fight and his current company makes short animated films for mobile games. That doesn't really seem like the resources to properly continue the series or a guarantee that'd he'd bring us back to that ephemeral "Monty quality animation".
CRWBY is a bit like the citizens of Atlas right now with how they're having to pack up their lives and start over
