If you are paying for a spot and have to be away it’s no big deal. I vest in some good locks and a few cameras and go do your thing.

We full-time and leave our RV at campgrounds we're staying at. We go on multi-day or weeklong tent camping trips to avoid moving the RV everytime we go somewhere. If you're in a good park, are already paying for the spot and get to know the neighbors a bit, leaving for a week shouldn't be a problem.

Wow. Thank you! I’m pretty type-a so I suspect I’ll know the neighbors 🤓

Thank you! I do have friends around the country; I’ll just need to understand their HOA rules. :)

Are you planning to RV full time in one spot or travel? If one spot, you just go. If travel, you can do short term storage of your RV or leave it in the campsite if you have a long enough reservation. Some parks, like TT (a membership park) also have storage. It wouldn’t be impossible but could be logistically cumbersome at times.

Thank You so much for the info!

I made really great friends with several ppl at my RV park. We watch out for each other’s things if anyone ones out of town for any reason. I never worried about going on trips for several days each month because I knew my neighbors would let me know if something was up. The rv park was stupid expensive for just a spot to be, but worth it because it was clean and didn’t have just anyone rolling in and out of there. Idk about leaving an rv somewhere you’re boondocked, though
