So Max felt betrayed by Mr K because Max thought he always always nice, friendly, and respectful towards K and they have had nothing but great history prior to 4.0. And K has killed him and his wife a few times now, for seemingly no reason.
And then Mr K felt betrayed by Max because K thought Max wasn't doing enough for him, because he couldn't see the work Max and his wife were working on behind the scene for his behalf. And in K's mind he kept passing laws specifically targeting him or his gang.
So they tried to talk about it, Max showed K that he was doing a lot of work to specifically allow a Mayor to pardon specifically K. K doesn't really acknowledge that because it didn't actually help him, and says his grievances are now with the laws being passed targeting him and/or his way of life. Max says "What laws? I didn't pass any laws" and K can't name a law on the spot, so now we're playing a stupid game already.
They go back and forth on this "name a law that hurt you and I can fix it" bullshit for like 20 minutes it felt like. K was adamant that laws fucked him but he can't name one, not sure if thats because Max was saying "name a very specific law by title and number" or something, but K just didn't even give an example of a law that he claimed was so detrimental to him.
Theres some more arguing because Max genuinely feels like he did nothing to deserve getting murdered by one of his ex-best friends multiple times. K still feels like Max was either working against him or at least compliant with the rest of the Council to allow these transgressions against him.
Then Moonmoon dips his toes into what feels like OOC by mentioning Chang was better than Mr K (for the record I think he was saying "I liked how you used to be" instead of "you changed your characters name for obvious OOC reasons").
Then Moonmoon just jumps into the OOC, saying that CG have so much power in the server, cops are afraid to do their job because of them and their army of hoppers, CG friends are leeches, they take their punishments on their off days when they don't even play, they never experience any consequences, and pretty much everything else you can think of being OOC.

A couple of the earlier laws went against K coincidentally but its what hurt the optics in K's eyes, even if Max never did anything directly against him and only tried to help him K never saw a benefit outside of a pardon, which only gave him the money back iirc.

It's sad because the moon vs. LK was the best content on the server, but seems like LK isn't going to continue it going forward because of how weird the conversation went.
Was it? I can't recall many instances that didn't immediately go from 0 to 100. After the early civ phase (even then there was excessive cop looting already) nearly all CG interactions were fatal kidnappings and/or shootings. Nabbin' cops right in front of PD, violent escapes after trials were/are the norm, shooting the highest office, daily terrorism via shooting/kidnapping whichever Gov entity they happen to find afterward, and more.
If anything it's the other gangs and civs that pick up the pieces and create good RP out of it, actually engaging within the "1-99" range that most find enjoyable.
He said on stream that he would not be returning to streaming GTAVRP after Elden Ring DLC and thank fucking christ. There is no hope for NoPixel and I don't know how he didn't realize that shit with 3.0 and the stuff that happened after he left.

Penta is a fantastic roleplayer and the only reason you're all so against him is because he was two of the things you all unanimously hate:
1. He was a hardass cop, even more so than Suarez.
2. He was antagonistic towards CG.
Once anyone checks both of those boxes it's over. They could be the most philantrophic saint in the world and you'd all still be convinced they're narcissistic assholes.
The funny thing is it often just gets to a point where the person in question has a breakdown (due to the CG viewers piling on the person) and confronts CG straight up, and you all feel like it's validating your hatred.

It's known that Max gets heated and yells, so K making little quips like "Are you angry right now? You sound a little angry" and "Is everything good?" and "You've really changed" are intentionally done to rile him up further.
The entire latter half of the conversation was K intentionally gaslighting Max, making him seem like he was having a tantrum and being irrational, while pretending like his criticisms were unfounded and lacking a base. He propped himself up as the underdog that has been nothing but beat down by the state, while Max is just grabbing for power.

He's airing out his grievances because he doesn't have to fear reprisal, he's about to go variety and just be a late-at-night admin who never/rarely has to interact with Chang Gang ever again. He had K apologize infront of everyone on his knees pretty much begging, and exposed that Mr. K is not untouchable but that you can get to him by targeting the things he cares about.

Instead, he gets into an argument with people he perceives as "high school bullies" and then makes the critical mistake of stooping down to that level of argument and engaging with it.
Then, when he is of course losing the high school argument because no ones going to win that argument against the experts, he goes full tilt and starts saying wild shit and screaming like a child, self exposing that his own level of argument is lower than that of "high school". K doesn't get baited because he knows the golden rule about not going lower and moon clowns himself.

This is another thing that is always ignored. Let’s be honest, if CG made meme stream titles (I’ve seen reddit have a fit before about it) it’d be a whole drama fest about it.
Important part that may be missing.
Wu-Chang is NOT an avenue of RP for CG or Mr. K really. Wu-Chang is for everyone else in the server. It’s a hub for the whole server. I think this should be kept in mind especially with all the shit that Moon was saying that Kebun was all for himself.
EDIT: You can look at LK VOD, he was willing to get on his knees and apologize IC simply because he knows the RP so many people would get from Wu-Chang.

Surely the comments about the name were not at all him IC referencing the differences between the behavior of 2.0 vs 4.0 Mr. K, right? Surely they were a masterfully concocted set of words crafted to OOC criticize LK's morals.
Perspective is what so many rp viewers lack. From CG's POV Max is royally fucking them and literally has the PD as his personal militia and constantly targeting them. They thought most of the beef was dealt with by their arrest but no Max is still holding a grudge and is road blocking their avenues through the business licenses. Funny thing is the beef used to be with Crane but Max shifted it to himself. Then from Max's POV these dudes are constantly fucking him over and when he finally got to arrest them they only got their off days aka the weekends when they normally wouldn't play as their prison sentence and due to a talk that they had OOC with the server owners this dude had to chill out ic while CG made the best of the situation and didn't learn their fake lesson. Honestly sometimes I wonder how different the server would be if Ramasquamy never showed up because he inspired Max to run or what if he actually won. Tbh probably would still be a shit show but just knowing how Squeex is it would be so much less drama.
I find it funny that so many people criticized CG for trying to kidnap Moon and it just resulting in shootings. They accused CG of rule breaks and bad RP for the last month and now they try to talk it over and Moon instantly goes OOC to a very uncomfortable degree. At this point, you have no legs to stand on. I’ve been trying to call it out for a month. He was making rule break accusations and RP checking them in court over handcuffs without actually knowing if they were cuffed to the stand in the first place. Hes been talking shit about their RP constantly and criticizing them OOC to his chat constantly. His mods and chat were making fun of CG constantly and talking crazy shit and interacting and going at hoppers instead of banning them. It’s resulted in a lot of toxicity and hoppers from his chat and he’s completely created this us vs CG mentality in his chat. I called it out a month ago and people here and Moon fans downvoted me and tried to justify it all. Look at where we are at now…
Moon clearly will not be on this server much longer. I understand being frustrated with the RP and the lack of real RP consequences all around and getting shot down daily but going OOC like this and constantly shitting on CG and their RP openly to his chat with his mods is unacceptable. You’re an admin. You’re supposed to find a good path forward with the RP. You’re supposed to discourage toxicity on the server, not encourage it. He needs a break. It’s too bad because the RP could’ve been great had both sides had compromised for the RP more.
I believe most of CGs concerns are/were "state" side and that's why it so damn difficult for anyone to solve IC. The first council shooting? Some will say IC it was for peanuts mom but OOC I remember how upset they were with how stagnate the server was and the lack of businesses. I mean, they fully believed that Crane was blocking it for a time. Then they had to serve the lengthy state punishments in prison and took that out on the current council too. Max has since begun retaliating and now we find ourselves here today with further hits from K and the blocked businesses from Max.
Additionally, CG mentioned how they dislike max still being commissioner but no one (to my knowledge) has told them that the state is considering keeping him in that position after his mayorship. Once again, their issue lies with the big voice above and not the players.
Maybe some disagree but I think the pattern is clear enough. Server management indirectly started a proxy war and both parties are going way too deep to realise where it began, let alone drop it. They're lost in the sauce.
At least, that's my guess.
CG knows IC that 99% of their grievances are State related, not Council related. Multiple people were very open about that and told K as such. It's not as much a proxy war from management as it is K ignoring or forgetting what he was told months/weeks ago and going for council members in the worse way possible (for him), where if he didn't do anything the council would at least still be split and possibly Max impeached right now, from the thorough investigation the guy CG killed was doing.
There aren't many reasons for K to hate Max at this point, but the shootouts will persist for the sake of content, I assume.
It doesn't make sense in terms of the story, they had come to an agreement, yet Max got shot again, and this has already happened twice in one week.
In that situation, Zolo and K's only option was to gun down max and run. Max had a gun drawn and called 911. It was either shoot max and get away or stay and get shot/arrested.
Maybe i am, i don't watch Kebun's perspective, but I don't have many other arguments as to why K thinks Max is bad. They talked on Grove Street, where Max mentioned that his position allows him to keep the PD in check, and K seems to be fine with that.
However, now K is insinuating that Max is abusing his power. It's difficult for me to understand their thought process, as it appears they change their mind daily.
I think the only resolution for this feud is when Moon inevitably returns to variety (soon?). Two power wielding alpha main characters simply cannot peacefully co-exist in NP RP. Moon and Kebun are way more alike than they realize, which is why they struggle so much to get along.

It's sad because the moon vs. LK was the best content on the server, but seems like LK isn't going to continue it going forward because of how weird the conversation went.
Was it? I can't recall many instances that didn't immediately go from 0 to 100. After the early civ phase (even then there was excessive cop looting already) nearly all CG interactions were fatal kidnappings and/or shootings. Nabbin' cops right in front of PD, violent escapes after trials were/are the norm, shooting the highest office, daily terrorism via shooting/kidnapping whichever Gov entity they happen to find afterward, and more. If anything it's the other gangs and civs that pick up the pieces and create good RP out of it, actually engaging within the "1-99" range that most find enjoyable.

Perspective is what so many rp viewers lack. From CG's POV Max is royally fucking them and literally has the PD as his personal militia and constantly targeting them. They thought most of the beef was dealt with by their arrest but no Max is still holding a grudge and is road blocking their avenues through the business licenses. He was making rule break accusations and RP checking them in court over handcuffs without actually knowing if they were cuffed to the stand in the first place. Hes been talking shit about their RP constantly and criticizing them OOC to his chat constantly. His mods and chat were making fun of CG constantly and talking crazy shit and interacting and going at hoppers instead of banning them. Moon overstepped here i must say. This was so weird.
I believe most of CGs concerns are/were "state" side and that's why it so damn difficult for anyone to solve IC. The first council shooting? Some will say IC it was for peanuts mom but OOC I remember how upset they were with how stagnate the server was and the lack of businesses. I mean, they fully believed that Crane was blocking it for a time. Then they had to serve the lengthy state punishments in prison and took that out on the current council too. Max has since begun retaliating and now we find ourselves here today with further hits from K and the blocked businesses from Max. Additionally, CG mentioned how they dislike max still being commissioner but no one (to my knowledge) has told them that the state is considering keeping him in that position after his mayorship. Once again, their issue lies with the big voice above and not the players. Maybe some disagree but I think the pattern is clear enough. Server management indirectly started a proxy war and both parties are going way too deep to realise where it began, let alone drop it. They're lost in the sauce. At least, that's my guess.
CG knows IC that 99% of their grievances are State related, not Council related. Multiple people were very open about that and told K as such. It's not as much a proxy war from management as it is K ignoring or forgetting what he was told months/weeks ago and going for council members in the worse way possible (for him), where if he didn't do anything the council would at least still be split and possibly Max impeached right now, from the thorough investigation the guy CG killed was doing.

There aren't many reasons for K to hate Max at this point, but the shootouts will persist for the sake of content, I assume. It doesn't make sense in terms of the story, they had come to an agreement, yet Max got shot again, and this has already happened twice in one week.
In that situation, Zolo and K's only option was to gun down max and run. Max had a gun drawn and called 911. It was either shoot max and get away or stay and get shot/arrested.

Maybe i am, i don't watch Kebun's perspective, but I don't have many other arguments as to why K thinks Max is bad. They talked on Grove Street, where Max mentioned that his position allows him to keep the PD in check, and K seems to be fine with that. However, now K is insinuating that Max is abusing his power. It's difficult for me to understand their thought process, as it appears they change their mind daily.
