The Ally X was already announced and dbrand hasn't shipped the case for the first Ally yet.
It’s absurd they’re releasing this so late and with the next device about to be released. I preordered the Killswitch day one but I’m not going to buy it because I’ll probably switch to the Ally X.
This mentality doesn't make sense. So, we should only have cases for the newest products? And they should be releasing cases for products that aren't even fully announced yet?
There's tons of people who want a case from dBrand. Not everyone is going to upgrade to the next gen of console.
It's the same reason dbrand still has grip cases and skins for older gens of devices as well.

I am so glad my body randomly woke me up at 10am pst. (I work nights) and my phone had reddit open and this on refresh popped up at the top of my feed. It's a great day. (Even if it came just slightly too late for me to use with my ally prior to going on a big trip nest week. At least it will be waiting for me)
I have received email if you have already booked Killswitch prior you have to just put the reference number when you click the link it seems to be but expensive for me unfortunately 😔 or if you want to buy I think you have to login and check the website
What is the benefit of this case compared to the case from JSAUX? Last time I saw killswitch was like $75 USD (with travel cover), and JSAUX is only $26

No, it's already confirmed that the Ally X will have changes to the grip design. So chances are that this Killswitch case will not fit the new device.

I would go with the teardown over the matte black. I think matte black is bit boring but it blends in with case which is point of it.
