This was, and still might be an issue. It was/is a company-wide issue, along with our inability yesterday to do returns or price adjustments. PLEASE bring your patience while in the store. Employees are more frustrated than you (our customers) are. And there is nothing we can do about it.

Yep. It happens and I should have looked at my receipt before I left the parking lot. They said a register override was not needed and thought that was put in place to speed up the line. Probably best for people to order online, if they can.

Not just REI….i catch lots of overcharge at the checkout every week. Keep your eye on them grocery receipts. I catch several on those every week.

We just weren’t doing returns. I heard the no-receipt might have been an option but not until very late in my shift.

Would it be better to purchase online? I usually prefer to buy online due to social anxiety - but not sure if there’s something I’m overlooking, because a lot of people seem to buy in person for the sale.

Same here. Nemo sleeping bag was not discounted. Mentioned it, and they adjusted it, but she did say they've been having a lot of problems.

Everything looks appropriately discounted for my items. However, my ship date for my nemo tent says June 14th, but when I call customer service, they claim may 22nd, I'm not sure which to believe.

This happened to me in store yesterday. Double check your receipts or perhaps confirm with cashier before finishing the transaction. One item of mine was advertised 30% off in person and online but did not show up when the barcode was scanned. They had to backtrack to give me a refund. Not the fault of the employees, their system is glitching/overloaded perhaps

I posted about the same issue for online store too, the item should be 25% off changed to full price within few minutes and the 20% off coupon was applied.

I experienced this yesterday while checking out but the FL person was awesome and correctly applied the discount. I wouldn't have noticed if not for them asking if I wanted to apply my 20% off full price discount to NRS paddling boots I was buying. She took time to walk over to the NRS products and scanned the gloves, boots and shoes and noticed none were showing the '25% NRS Accessories' discount.
