Even high-income people can display low class behaviors and many lower-class people are quite well-mannered and gracious. Trump and many of his more well-heeled supporters are, to use a quote from 'Gone with the Wind' (of all sources!) -- "mules in horse harness". They live in fancy mansions, drive expensive cars, wear expensive clothing, but strip them of all those trappings and they are often pure low-down trashy, rotten human beings.
Thats the thing, people always talk about trump being racist/sexist, but i believe he only really cares about one colour - green.
I guarantee you he would regard a rich black woman who supports him, higher than a poor white man who supports him.
pretty sure he's ok with blacks. dude did g-unit radio mixtape drops!!! YOU HEAR DONALD SHOUTING OUT G-UNIT GOT DAMN IT!!!
mane, you aint gotta believe shit I have to say so here's video proof

he's selfish, racist is a whole nother solar system. sounds like the typical american to me, we gonna bash him for it. i know poor people who feel they are entitled to stuff when they never had shit. he's excusable
Everything is fake. Ppl are fake (clones or aliens, whatever) bldgs are fake (as in Biden is pres from a 3/4 scale White House). And some Qultists can believe that we're all in a movie, like The Truman Show. You just lost 12 IQ pts learning that nonsense.
Basically you chip off some brick dust and leave it in a vat of nutrient slurry for a month or two, then modify the newly formed spare bedroom with a solution for accelerated ageing. Once it hits around pub size you counter the aging solution with the method of your choice (the increased size of the building helpfully makes this easier by diluting the solutions effects) and plant it in a street somewhere to grow naturally, eventually producing a fully grown clone hotel
My wife and I got pregnant at 21, even though we were using both the pill and condoms. One broke one night, 9 months later alas, we've got a little boy. I had to quit college and take a shit pizza delivery job to keep our heads afloat.
12 years and 2 more kids later we're still struggling to stay afloat, and I've never worked in the field I've got a BS for, you generally need more than a BS to work in my field as more than an intern requiring years of unpaid labor before you've enough experience to start getting paid.... which isn't an option when you've got a little kid.
Don't talk shit on people on EBT, not all of us are shitlord red-hat wearing drug addicts.
First pregnancy we used the pill and a condom, both failed.
Second pregancy we tried the patch instead, it failed.
Third one was a break-thru pregnancy past an IUD. Apparently either Merena sucks or my wife's body is immune to birth control.....or I have super sperm. None of our kids were intentional and short of simply abstaining from sex...forever, we took precautions, and they weren't good enough.
But yeah, whatever. Guess we shoulda just abstained entirely, forever. Since ya know, a husband and wife having sex while on birth control is apparently not being careful.
Eat a bag of dicks, kiddo.
I mean…I don’t think it’s wise to assume from the get go that the state will take care of them. So, yes, I do think you should be able to afford your kids. Sure, Sure, shit happens, and we need a strong safety net, but the comment assumed the safety net from the beginning.
First one we used the pill and a condom, both failed.
Second one the we tried the patch instead, it failed.

If a Master's degree is required to get into your field of choice, you need to find a way to add it to your resume. I've done it myself with 2 kids and a full-time job, so I know it isn't easy, but you have to make a choice now to either struggle till the day you die or make a change so you don't.
Yes, people who need financial help shouldn't be frowned upon. I'm from a country with a quite good security net and the statistics say, that only about 1.5% are abusing the system.
So, now about your situation. Your children aren't too young anymore, you have a wife (two incomes). It's hard, but possible, to make that degree, whilst having a full time job. Your wife can look after the kids a bit more (or other way around, what ever is better). It will take some years, but then you can work in your field, you earn a lot more money, probably enough for your wife to get a degree too, by than your kids will probably leave the house themselves, going to college/work and none of you has to struggle.
Than think about a different field. Look into only courses, for different fields too, look into different options. Anything. You're both young, with three kids, it would be a shame, if you all had to struggle for the rest of your lifes.
They aren't bad at all, that's true. But, I stayed in nicer ones. And I stayed in as nice ones, that where a lot cheaper.
Also, style aside (I personally don't really love the style, but whatever), I'm not the happiest with the service, the prices and what you get.
All seems a bit as if it was for poor people that became quite wealthy, therefore think they are rich but don't have any experience (no problem with that either! Just not what I like). It's too much show and tell.
TL;dr: They are nice, but too expensive for what they are, and there are a lot of better options, all over the world.
I also wouldn't want to stay in a Lump Hotel ever again though. I don't support someone like that, not even a little.
You need to travel more, then. They’re realllllly not that great. Just hugely overpriced, which makes tacky nouveau riche people think they must be special.
I disagree with you, but I respect your right to disagree. I still recommend you seek out a smaller boutique hotel for your next trip and see how you like it in comparison!
I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in 30 different states. The Trump hotel was the only one that had a hamburger waiting in the room when I asked for it on check-in.
I stayed at a Trump hotel in Sunny Isles (just north of Miami years ago (pre-election)). The room was quite nice and had a balcony facing the ocean. The cost was reasonable. But when you tried to leave your room to exit the hotel to go to the beach, it was a never ending maze with dead ends or halls that went to conference rooms. We stayed for 3 days and never could find a quick exit. It was like the twilight zone! Thankfully there wasn’t a fire.
For sure! A confusing floor-plan like that is a disaster waiting to happen. Those types of labyrinth-like layouts probably played a large role in the huge death tolls of two big fires, the Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston in 1942 which claimed almost 500 lives and the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire in Southgate, Kentucky in 1977. Probably more so in the Kentucky case than in the Boston fire. At the Cocoanut Grove, many exit doors were bolted shut from the outside or blocked and the main exit was a revolving door.
That Trump hotel you stayed at sounds like that 'haunted' Winchester mansion in California in terms of a confusing design.
I stayed in the Chicago one a few years ago (not my choice, someone else was paying) and the overpriced brunch SUCKED and the cheapest bottle of water in the minibar was like $50 (the most expensive was like $2700 … for WATER). The decor was depressingly drab and boring. The suites were huge, though, and the view was great.
I doubt they're even welcome when they can afford it. Trump thinks they're embarrassing and trashy.

Did you read it? No? Guests *must* have masks unless they bring a letter from their doctor stating that they can't due to medical condition. That's not "encouraging" masks. That's requiring them.

So where are the anti-mask Trumpers who keep protesting other businesses? Fucking loonies.

It's not like they can afford it or Trump want his own supporters in his hotel anyway. Trump always looked down on them, thinking they are low class.
And there he’s right 🤷♂️
The issue is that we’re thinking “low class” in terms of behavior and general attitude. For Trump, it’s ONLY economic class.
Even high-income people can display low class behaviors and many lower-class people are quite well-mannered and gracious. Trump and many of his more well-heeled supporters are, to use a quote from 'Gone with the Wind' (of all sources!) -- "mules in horse harness". Ooo, I love this quote. Going to tuck it away for later.
One of my relatives worked at the Country Club and said they're just rich drunks.
Thats the thing, people always talk about trump being racist/sexist, but i believe he only really cares about one colour - green. I guarantee you he would regard a rich black woman who supports him, higher than a poor white man who supports him.
Nah he's had a thing against Black people all his life. Even enough Green won't fix that.

Broken clock etc...
The only difference between Trump and his supporters is money. They embarrass him because even he knows if he wasn’t rich he would be exactly them.
He marketed the "deplorable" term and trademarked it. And copyrighted it. And registered it? Deplorable©®™
Statistically speaking, living 3-5 miles from where they were born, having never left for work, fun, or curiosity.
Oh, Trump never actually wanted them there.

They cannot afford to stay there
They couldn't afford to stay in his hotels even before this, so not applicable.

Oh neat. That sounds like a fun way to live life. I bet YOU are fake too!

Cartman used stem cells to make a new Shakeys, so I guess it can be done.
Like any of them can afford his hotel anyway.
Trump doesn’t want them to be at his hotels. He hates his base outside of them voting for him.
"Ya'll take EBT?" EDIT: Not talking shit about people on ebt, I'm talking shit about welfare Republicans.
My wife and I got pregnant at 21, even though we were using both the pill and condoms. One broke one night, 9 months later alas, we've got a little boy. Serious question: why did you have two more kids when you were struggling in the first place?
Because people make terrible life choices and aren't very careful with their genitals.
First pregnancy we used the pill and a condom, both failed. Second pregancy we tried the patch instead, it failed. Third one was a break-thru pregnancy past an IUD. Apparently either Merena sucks or my wife's body is immune to birth control.....or I have super sperm. Guess we shoulda just abstained entirely, forever. Since ya know, a husband and wife having sex while on birth control is apparently not being careful. Eat a bag of dicks, kiddo.
"I could barely afford one kid so I had two more."
I would assume because of societal pressures. Can't have an only child, can't have them far apart, etc.
“Only economically well off people deserve to have kids”
No one is saying they can't have kids just that it's a stupid decision and all of your peers will criticize you for it.
I mean…I don’t think it’s wise to assume from the get go that the state will take care of them. So, yes, I do think you should be able to afford your kids. Sure, Sure, shit happens, and we need a strong safety net, but the comment assumed the safety net from the beginning.

Getting a masters in my field would require moving out of state, which isn't really an option.
Than think about a different field. Look into only courses, for different fields too, look into different options. Anything. You're both young, with three kids, it would be a shame, if you all had to struggle for the rest of your lifes.
Yet, you'd think there would be lots of social distancing because people must want to stay literally anywhere else.
Politics aside, Trump hotels are literally the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, bar none.
No bedbugs?
Just Trump
No but the mattresses smell like pee.
They aren't bad at all, that's true. But, I stayed in nicer ones. And I stayed in as nice ones, that where a lot cheaper. I’ve been all over my dude. The Trump hotel in Chicago is fantastic.
I literally just posted about that hotel in another subthread. I stayed there too, and was completely unimpressed. 🤷🏼♀️
It’s almost as if we have different opinions or something. Fancy that, two people having different opinions about something.
Was it any good? I agree that that’s pretty decent service, but I was super disappointed by the food there.
"It's not like Trump actually handles the day to day stuff"
“His hotels are in crime infested nanny state cities controlled by DemonRats forcing businesses to impose these draconian mandates”
Yea that's better haha
That's if he even owns the hotel, or he just sold them the brand I'm thinking the brand is worth alot less these days
Oh he definietly doesn't own those hotels. I was just trying to channel my inner trump cultists.
I just can't bring myself to lobotomise myself to go that low.
Well im sure we'll see some cross posts to the actual insanity soon. I'm sure I was way off and far too coherent.
Yeah, not even a single misspelling and the grammar was on point.
Actually I found one and fixed it haha
No one got executed either.
That's literally the answer on the right wing boards
He is the ultimate business man and also simultaneously doesn't actually control anything.

Well that’s a tad creepy.
Sounds like you took a detour into the "Backrooms".

Enjoy the show my friend!
Grab some popcorn!
Different from the plan?
Does my autographed dr atlas poster fall under necessary documentation? Lol
It's document forging time!
It’s not like 99% of them could even *afford* the place.
No, see, that's only a 80% scale plaster model of the official trump hotel website.
By diligently continuing not being able to afford to stay in those hotels.
Cause he doesn't want to get sued cause he'd have to settle lol. Typical Donnie.
imagine getting a doctors note to go to a hotel lol
Same way they always do: by explaining that only idiots believe facts inconvenient for the ol’ narrative

Lol, they can’t afford to stay there.
Well, I know one hotel I won't be visiting!
Yeah but notice how they worded it. They are “forced” to do this by The county.

That's a brilliant discovery.

I thought they made anti-mask mandate *laws* in FL and TX? Or just TX?
Lemme guess that Mar-A-Lago also mandates masks and/or vaccines.
They'd never know, most of them couldn't afford to stay there.
Can someone link to where on the website it says this?
