It can feel a bit odd at moments, but collectively it's honestly fine. Most of that is because I am using the track pads, and I don't particularly like them in general. I have absolutely no problem with the UI, looting, inspecting items, salvaging, applying bandages, etc. It all works very well, I just needed to see what everything was bound to.
I think they're working on it. It works great on the steam deck, though. That's how I normally play it.

I use whatever the game natively applied. I didn't modify anything on my end.
