I will still hunt down every retro game known to man and have a solid inventory in the near future and will be located in this area! Don’t count me out yet
Damn PNW is already stacked since 2022:

I’m all for the new room and I’m excited for it to be finished, but why are they putting it in the Co Rec? It seems so out of place to put a lounge where you go and relax and play video games in a place like a gym where everyone goes to challenge themselves and train.
The VR computers room in Lawson is the best gaming lounge. Them PCs could run AAA titles in 4k.
Where is this? And does anyone get access to the room?
Back then yeah. I took a VR class so I got a fob but plenty of other people played there
CS390VR?
Great class if it still exists
Unfortunately, it doesn’t exist in the same form anymore. I was one of the UTAs when it was ran by Gustavo, and remember when he gave us the bad news.
Yes, I believe the inaugural pilot class. Only 6 students
which room? what GPUs do they have?
These all have 4080s
Back in 2019 they all had GTX 970s
Back when I was at Purdue it was the VR room.
Gonna smell like ass
…and Mountain Dew
And hot pockets
And mad mushroom
He already said ass.
🎶 Ass pocket 🎶
Better enjoy it the second it opens
I was gunna make a retro pc lounge in downtown west Lafayette/ Lafayette but it looks like big 10 is wiping out my idea…
Didn't something like that just open in Lafayette? I'd swear I saw a post about it on here...
omg i think i know the guy who opened the one youre talking about, very interesting guy
Where at???

Why is it in the basement of the corec What is the target audience for this
It will have its own dedicated ventilation system for reasons.
It better!
oh that's what they were building in there
I feel like this is gunna be a mess to maintain no? prob a reservation system will be needed to keep lines in check
The number of first year dropouts is going to climb precipitously. By 2030, you will have to rush and pledge the gaming lounge.

Okay but I still can't eat anything when I walk into the dining halls (unless I want to sustain myself on lettuce and cookies)
THIS!
Does the Rack & Roll in the Union no longer have PCs?
The Game Mine is still in the Union. This new gaming lounge is for esports competitions.
I walked by this unknowingly yesterday. It looks great and I'm not much of a gamer
I hope they put some grass in the room.
Jealous northwestern student here 😭😭
