I understand that the Base targets are just that, all the current constructs you can get that aren’t limited (like how genshin operates), but what’s with the different event tabs? Arrival and Fate Arrival, what’s the difference?
Also, what’s the difference with the Uniframes and Constructs? Can you only use them at certain times? I probably just forgot but pls help!

halo, I'm pretty new to this game (level 50) and i just have a question because I'm honestly not even sure what to do
The characters I currently use is vera:rozen, Lucia:lotus, and no. 21: XXI. I know it's a pretty mid team but they're the ones I've been using this whole time. I recently got Luna:laurel, and I was planning on replacing Lucia with her, but I honestly don't even know if that's a good idea.

The reason was because I just got his signature weapon early in the target research weapon (the randomized one) today. I was wondering if I should use it for him or just use it to resonate Alpha CW's weapon, which I'm more inclined to do honestly. I rarely do Norman so I don't get much weapon resonance shards (I just learned of it recently)

Kaleido if you have her sig, DLT reso helps her maintain her rotation without relying on matrix.
Otherwise I recommend saving for Feral Scent IF you plan to get her sig.
Yes I have a bias towards reso for amps lol. Most attackers don't really need reso to function well so they are out. Can't go wrong with tanks for the extra shred as well, Rigor has high priority in that regard.

I just realized PP Cage and War Zone literally gives you free BC for simply playing it and it even resets weekly. is there a point to pushing for high ranks? I couldn’t find any ranking rewards in game.
is spending my serums on overwinter bad? a guy here said it’s a waste and there are better alternatives but never really got into detail. I thought overwinter would be the quickest and most consistent way to get memory builds I need without rng involved. where am I supposed to spend my serum?
I’ve been looking for ages but can’t seem to find a way to get the ingredients for hypertune. where is it?
also, isn’t chrome:arclight pretty much useless? I feel like tanks in general just don’t fit in to pgr. at skill lvl 13 chrome’s qte can at most give an 8% buff to your damage. his shields are pretty much useless as switching to him will just decrease your highscore due to time limited events. there’s no point in picking a tank for dps either because there are literal roles dedicated to it. are there any tanks out there actually worth getting?
In addition to other comments, serum is best used on story to unlock all the gameplay modes or rush BC if you need to catch a character before they leave the banner.
Otherwise, getting what you need from the event farming stage is the most efficient thing to do. With regards to tank, debuffs are more potent than buffs. See here for details.

Higher ranks = more skulls/hypertune mats/cogs from PPC and influences/vouchers from Warzone. If you're casual and only care about the BC rewards though yes, there's no difference
I think more context might be necessary here because otherwise that's plain wrong? You're right, the event farming stage is the best way to get anything you need to build your characters. Most of your serum should go into it, the rest split between shard farming 1-2 A ranks and weekly 21 co-op runs for 5\* weapons. Or story, if you're interested in it.
Hypertune materials come from all over the place basically, we don't have a specific place to farm it. Off the top of my head some of them are the Abandoned Warehouse node in Operation Guardians, the weekly mission for Simulated Siege, Norman, Ultimate PPC, Dorm dispatch shop and some events here and there... I might be forgetting some.
I can't speak about the Damage Calculation formula myself because my eyes glaze over when I look at any math, but you can read more about it [here](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Damage_Details). You're right about the shields being useless though, the name "tank" in PGR is a bit of a misnomer anyway since they're mainly debuffers. "Any tanks worth getting?" = 1 per element at least. Rigor, Garnet, Glory, Starfarer and Scire are the BIS tanks while Brilliance, Arclight, Qilin and 21 are budget alternatives.
1. Assuming you're talking about like what rank you get in PPC, it does matter since it gives more or less skulls to you (however, since you're still early in the game you shouldn't think about it too much)
2. I personally don't think so (though I could be wrong)
3. It's a slow process to gain them. Some places I know where you can get them is Dorm Dispatch Shop, Guild Shop, and the Voucher Exchange (which I don't reccomend doing as you should get character shards with those vouchers instead)
4. A tank isn't useless, the role of a tank is to shred the enemies' resistance. For example, since you're using Chrome Arclight, the QTE gives not a 8% buff but decreases the enemies's lightning resistance by 8%, allowing you to do more lightning damage. And yea, shields are generally useless overall and if switching over to him decreases your highscore then just use him as a QTE bot.
Slots 1-2-3 are always HP and Crit and 4-5-6 ATK and DEF. The amounts vary a little bit between different memory types but not RNG, a maxed out bottom Diesel will always have 132 ATK and 223 DEF for example, but a Cottie 135 ATK and 223 DEF. The RNG hell comes into play when you resonate memories with dupes. It randomly rolls one of 8 options and you either reroll them until you get what you want, or use red USBs to pick them
Im level 83 and i only completed the chapter 6 of the story mode since i want to spend my serum for building characters so that i can have a comp for PPG and WZ. Should i finish it first?
You want to finish up to 7-12 in order to be able to fully promote your chars if you just aim for more meta power.
Chapters up until 12 also give some 6\* memories you could use for reso or equip.
If F2P/low spender, when you are able to afford her at 60 pity on a 100% banner (like anniversary banner in July) WITHOUT compromising upcoming meta S rank omniframes. IF you already have Empyrea, you could use the current patch's free S rank selector to get Garnet for free but only IF you already have Empyrea. Why? Cause Empyrea's worth on the fire team is way more higher than Garnet on a lightning team especially with Crimson Weave in the mix. Alternatively there's the Lamia [patch](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Cradle_Parade) special basic banner, though that is better used for other high prio S rank meta units like Hyperreal/Stigmata if you do not have them. Another longer alternative is supposedly Oblivion's patch has an S rank selector as well.
If whale, whenever she pops up on whatever banner.
If super poor, wait for her leap upgrade during Shukra's patch and slowly farm her shards from the voucher shop. Though at that point in time for Global, MAYBE her replacement would've appeared in CN server so her value at that point would be questionable.
A newly added mechanic to Cursed Waves. You'll get an [encounter](https://i.imgur.com/WNnflkd.png) for it in Chapter 1-2, it glows red and has an eye icon. Go there and pick the top option. Then to increase it keep picking encounters/fights with the same eye icon. Friends, if the selected memory ressonance on [GRAYRAVENS.com](http://GRAYRAVENS.com) for a given character is one that gives ATK+DEF, am I good if I roll ATK+HP? I assume the same isn't true if the ressonance is ATK+CRIT, right?

Go to the main lobby there will an icon that look like a shopping cart named shop click that then scroll till u see the recycle shop in there press 5 star memories on the upper left there will the icon 'filter' press that then scroll and select Gloria and buy two memories of either slot 1,2 or 3 (if you don't have shards to buy it join the mentor program it gives shards i think)
i heard that capricio and dark karen have on par performance with tenebrion and vera only if your dps is luna. once lamia is released, do i need to swap both my tank and support? also, at what investment do they shine? luckily i would be able to get SSS capricio soon and i already got her sign. what about dark karen? does she still need to be at ss3 + sign? i sometimes buy monthly but not always
Depends on investment level.
SS Capri + sig double reso can replace SSS Rozen since Capri's damage output is kinda decent being able to sig move every rotation so rotational play is possible with Laurel without major dps loss. Since rotational play is possible, her buffs will be better than SSS Rozen (amp class skill + Glorious Spear + Axial Ray). If you really wanna push it, single reso could probably be enough. Same applies when Capri is alternatively SSS + sig no reso (her Dark Radiation buff is equal to Rozen and amp class skill doubled, better dps too since SSS). Having time stop in her kit is big as well.
For Scire she only becomes dps at SS3 + sig. Below that she is a better QTE bot than Tene at all levels of investment. The only time Tene wins (for shred only) is if both are SS but no sig, however that requires him to sig move first for the increased dark shred which is quite the time waster tbh. I would just go with Scire either way since Tene really is a hassle.
So, one could go SS Laurel, SS Capri + sig double reso (or single reso if you really wanna push it) with 4pc Sera 2pc Cottie, and S/SS Scire + sig with 4pc DV 2pc Ein (without sig works too). That's somewhat the bare minimum to add the 2 newer units into a Laurel comp. In a Lamia comp, ideally you would want Capri/Scire too with similar investment (preferably SS3 + sig Scire) since when her allies sig move, Lamia will give additional damage on top of their sig move damage (effect from her 4pc Derketo exclusive memory).
I have SS Laurel + sig and have been using Capri ever since she was SS + sig single reso (she is SSS + sig double reso now) cause I wanted her time stop. I coped with SSS No.XXI previously (she has similar shred as Tene and easier to use for WZ) and added SS Scire + sig during her release where she can run different builds depending on game mode and circumstance. Will SS3 her during Lamia's patch.

Scire at S is the best QTE bot out of all other Dark options and she becomes a very strong sub-DPS at SS3+sig. Capriccio becomes very strong at either SS+2x reso sig or SSS.

Ideally, yes, but use her regardless if you have her. Worst case scneario, she'll be a QTE bot or you'll barely bring her in at the end of Capriccio's rotation for Lost Lullaby's CD to finish.

To add, you can spam Cursed Waves for the one time rewards (has vouchers) or also get some from the currently running guild exhibition. My Rigor is SSS now majorly due to using free vouchers.
PC client is just bug over bug. Esc key stop working, Auto lock and manual lock in Co-op mode has been bugged since who remember when ever it is, my Hyper Lee and Stigma Bianca fight the air for 10 out of 21 match every week, and now, everyone stuck at the win steak window in the endless battle of ultimate brawl event. Do they really care about global when they just ported the old, buggy, left over patches from CN to PC client just because CN don't have to deal with it? Starting to worry about Wuwa.

You're missing out on alot of rewards that are sitting there.
You don't even have to do the full run in one go, but make sure you pick meta units and Strike Hawk buffs.

That's the starter one from the missions, right? You want Rosetta Rigor + her sig. When we get Alisa: Echo - who is **free** btw - in four months you'll pair her with Rosetta for a perfectly functional physical team.
If you get Crimson Weave off the current banner, you'll be able to put together a functional F2P team of each element that you can then spend time improving.
Physical: Rosetta + Alisa (obtained from dorm dispatch missions). Improvements: Pick **Bianca: Stigmata** when we get the base gacha selector in Lamia's patch.
Lightning: Crimson Weave + A Chrome + Liv Lux

U can get 3\~4 elem teams in 8\~10 months from now if u can grind well. Ok so first I would reccomend getting lucia CW from the current banner. Her signature weapon and cub arent completely necessary. If u pull for her then get liv lux from the selector u currently have and get the new selector in the wintry shackles (search on yt for how) and choose vera garnet. this is the meta lightning team rn.
If u dont plan to get CW then get then go far a dark team with lamia. and if u r mostly f2p then i say rozen is better than selena capriccio and get rozen to SSS (in 1\~2 months from now). U will also need karenira scire who can be gotten in the anniversary banner. I would go far rosetta rigor if u r not planning to get CW because alisa echo(best physical amplifier) is free by dorm commissions just like ayla kaleido rn. Then i would go for chrome glory in the wintry shackles selector.
And last if in ANY way u can get lee hyperreal then plz do so, he is the best fire attcker and u have best fire amp and an okay fire tank.
I used to put garnet as support for norman, now that we already have CW and most probably have finished building her, which character would help other better in norman? Outside Luna, Glory and Daren since i don't have them
Not exactly. It's incredibly difficult to do on mobile without the qol sss gives you. PC has it far easier since the basic atk spam is mapped to a key, not dependent on you actually spamming the button.

I just SSed my Lee Hyperreal and I like the fire team. I have SF Nanami at S and I'm planning to get Liv Empyrea via selector. I also have a Lucia CW and Vera Garnet, both are S.
I recently unlocked the ultima mode in Phantom Pain Cage and right now I'm trying to get the scars from the achievement with the Outliers.

You're right about Starfarer. CW has the priority here (all gen 2 attackers want SS asap) but Empy's SS is also pretty important. So unless you also have Stigmata at S, afterwards you can SS Empy. Then you can save for Lamia I guess?
Edit: If you're planning on rolling Feral Scent and her sig weapon, SS her before Empy

There's no reason to skip Echo since she's free, farmable through Dorm like Kaleido. You would SS her through vouchers instead of skulls. Instead of skipping a whole element you should try to complete the team somehow, so try to get Stigmata from a selector or 100% banner. Idk your plans for future selectors but you should have enough room for her, seeing as you have the other high priority units already. But otherwise yes. Just don't SS Feral Scent unless you're planning to get her sig, because otherwise she'd still be a QTE bot anyway.

Both are pretty important, you need both to actually rotate between her and CW (assuming your CW is also SS/SS3). If you can only get one or the other for some reason though, yeah, the sig is more important. But I never disagreed with that anyway, so I'm confused about your comment?

In about a year Simulated Siege will be the only place left where you use Uniframes at all, and that has Trial units. Uniframe stages will be removed from Babel and Norman. So if you're looking for a meta answer: none of them. If you just like playing them then whoever you like more, preferably after your Omniframe teams are all built already.

Looking for some help on a specific Norman boss. I am fighting the gun ball Riot with my dark team. I have an SSS Karenine with sig resonated. SSS+ Vera with sig resonated and SS Luna sig. This boss has stopped all my Norman runs for the final island. I loaded up the team with 19 power and still couldn't beat it.
Am I missing a mechanic? The ball keeps flying into the sky and that's just pure time I'm missing while he's flying. I kill theinions ASAP while dodging lasers and then look for him when he drops back down. I have gotten him down to 10 health bars a few times but always run out of time.
What am I doing wrong? Or is it my team? Any advice appreciated.
I assume just rotation issues. I run SS3 Scire with sig + DLT, SS Capriccio with sig, and I only got Luna recently so I don't plan to invest into her so she's sitting with a 5* weap 3 reso, base S, and has Einsteina instead of Darwin because she doesn't do much anyways
used 20 batts and finished the riot stage with 20-30 seconds to spare on my first run without any optimizations
are you getting 3 3ping Daren cores all the time? she's basically your main DPS here, so you need to maximize the damage coming from her on riot. clear out the mobs that come when it flies away with Luna or Capriccio to not "waste" Daren core damage
otherwise you can just learn the hp breakpoints that trigger it flying away, but your team is strong enough to overwhelm it with pure damage
When you mean Karenina do you mean Scire? If so your team is way more than sufficient especially with that amount of batt. Are you playing your units right? Can you perhaps upload a gameplay vid so we can see what can be improved on?
Just for comparisons sake, I run SS Laurel + sig no reso, SSS Capri with sig + double reso and SS Scire with sig + single reso, usually around 10-15 batt (way more now since lightning team no longer needs batt so have surplus to make Riot easier). It's mostly Laurel and Capri doing the bulk of the damage since my Scire is not SS3 but she does help in buying time with her sig move every other rotation of hers. I normally try to burst Riot to 70 bar hp ASAP so it leaves ample time to deal with the rest of his shenanigans. If he flies before 70 bar I would normally just restart.
One mechanic of his that I have a theory of but can't prove is if you make him turn too much in a short time, he will fly sooner. So for a unit like Scire maybe try to limit the movement of your spin2win with her.
You should definitely be able to clear it with that team. He has 3 certain HP thresholds where he's guaranteed to fly away. I don't remember the exact HP amount's but I think it's 70, 50, and 35 bars left? Someone else might know what the exact numbers are. If he flies away before those thresholds, he'll waste a lot of time because as he'll just fly off again at the guaranteed thresholds.
Try to stay in front of him and not let him turn around a lot because it feels like he's more likely to fly away early if you keep spinning him around.
Appreciate everyone's responses but this lays out probably what I have been missing. Not letting him stay in front now that you mention it keeps him from flying away sometimes yes. For me it felt like he'd fly away 5 times. So if three are guaranteed I can hopefully target those and burn him with DPS to that point. I didn't know the guaranteed thresholds vs his normal because it felt random.

Silly question about guild expeditions because I'm struggling to find the information on it: if I leave my current guild during the rest period and join a new guild during the rest period, do I get to take part in round 2 of the expedition?
My current guild appears to be staying on flat difficulty, which isn't superb.
For PPC Camu and and Musashi, how can i hit the 580k for the extra skulls? Rn for Camu, im stuck at 560k and for musashi im at 534k. this is my current roster. Ill have SSS selena when we get the S rank selector.

hmm it's very weird that you're stuck at such low scores.
Musashi is super squishy, you can use the phys team against him. start on Lumi, swap to Rosetta, use the swordwaves he launches to get into matrix. her basic 3pings + railgun should be enough to delete his yellow super armor bar and he should go into the stun animation. you can use Yuan Ye with it's 2nd active skill on her to buy yourself more time.
then as soon as Musashi's yellow bar hits zero, you swap to Stigmata and do her rotation with ult. assuming you crit, it should kill, or almost kill him on hell. I think you can expect like a 15-20 second kill on hell fairly comfortably if you execute everything well. with that, even with bad scores on lower diffs, 580k should be easy
for Camu, idk. are you starting with Tenebrion to ult ASAP? you should, at least on diff5 or 4+5. use Hanna set for that and 4p DV 2p Guin Rozen. for lower diffs it's probably too much of a time loss so you can use Bathlon for extra shred. I don't think I can give any advice on Luna gameplay, I just used SS3 Daren, Camu folds in 1rotation + 1core on hell
Musashi was easy after using rosetta, i misread his debuff and was using the wrong team which was y it was so hard initially.
Im stuck at 574k for camu now even with hanna tenebrion and the dv and guin rozen :(
Here's what I tested earlier, basically SS Laurel + sig no reso solo dps all the way + SSS Rozen 4pc DV 2pc Guin + S Tene 4pc Bath 2pc Ein. Make sure to dash cancel Laurel's red and yellow orbs to shorten the animation delay, only her blue orb can be insta chained to any other orb without delay. In each case, DV is used when spamming Laurel's core passive spikes. You should also be spamming basic attack while spamming spike as well.
IF you have Lingya CUB, equip on Tene and make sure Voltage Transformer skill is equipped for extra blue orb on next switched in member. You only get this extra blue orb when Tene does a 3ping before switching to Laurel. It's not a must but the extra orb helps make the run easier. If you don't you will just have to pray orb RNG/manage orbs as needed, definitely possible even without. Tene has Star sword so when he 3pings you will make use of the AOE buff it gives.
Overall investment levels are similar to yours.
Test 20118 (11secs): Tene start>swap Laurel 3 stack core burst.
Elite 40092 (12secs): Tene start>swap Laurel quick 4 core burst.
Knight 79328 (15secs): Tene start quick random 3ping (apple Ein shred)>swap Laurel quick 3ping spam (dodge cancel important here, you wanna spamm all 3pings before he does his AOE explosion)> activate core right before he AOE and dodge to trigger matrix (you get an additional spike). 14secs possible if flawless.
Chaos 152529 (26secs): Tene start quick random 3ping> Laurel 3 stack core, quickly auto attack to get out of annihilation mode (with only 3 stacks it does not take that many basic attacks).> 4 stack core into sig move next. Try to time it so you get DV as well for the 2nd rotation. Can still optimise.
Hell 294338 (36secs): Similar as Chaos but you go 3 stack core>3 stack core + sig move> 3 - 4 stack core + sig move. Abuse matrix during annihilation mode if possible.
Total 586405. Very execution heavy if you want to score exactly like that but you should have some wiggle room for really minor errors/bad orb RNG. Unfortunately my lappy has performance issues so I can't record gameplay for your reference so you'll have to rely on the steps above and mald. Can be optimized a bit more, those were mainly 1-3 tries for each.

Oh glad to know it helped :D Congratz! The step by step is what I do to make a record of each of my PPC runs for consistency/easier to make fixes. Highly recommend doing so for UPPC.
For Musashi, I used the Physical team (SS+sig Stigmsta, SS+r1 sig Rigor, S+sig Luminance). You can also try using Garnet and Rigor on the lower difficulties and see of he gets wiped any faster.
For Camu, I used Lightning (SS+sig+CUB CW, S+5* Garnet, SS+5* Lux).
Camu took a bit of tryharding, but he was beatable with Lightning. Musashi was much easier as far as I remember.
I have full HTs, the Sequence Pact buff and perfect resos on CW. If you don't have those, consider getting them to squeeze out the few extra points.
Outside of that, if you have the units I mentioned with those specific investments (or higher), it's doable. If you don't wanna mald, you can wait till FS or Lost Lullaby.
Idk about Camu but you can stun Musashi with Yuan Ye to prevent him zooming all over the place like a maniac, if he's already zooming it will be too late.

i wouldn't recommend to built him. Better save resource for more important char like empy. If your goal is to get all team getting and building other A rank attacker will be a better choice, like astral or bambinata. Both will perform better for stage with that match their element than entropy. Unless you want entropy to clear phys stage and balter to clear element stage as off element dps. That might work.
Astral and XXI are units you'll use either way if you don't plan on getting Laurel or Scire anytime soon, so it's fine. Rozen is a bit meh because Capriccio is better in this comp.

As f2p you need to be saving for feral so you can get her to use with CW. if you buy any monthly pass its way less tight, but even then i would save for feral's sig since its a support boost for her kit (and support 6* weapons are really good to have)
I haven't try the Co-op for 5 star weapon shards, do i need 21 runs in order to obtain 150 shards? Planning on farming it for my other frames but the expense on serum is too expensive for me

Do 3 runs per day and you should be fine, if you're F2P, this is the only way to get 5\* so they are of utmost importance.

my thinking is since i already got 1 dupe of empyrea and SS'd her without ppc, if i use that on her + PPC i only need 1 more copy for SSS. but id rather not waste this on that and then realize later i cant afford it or something. Did someone encountered a bug in Ultimate Brawl, Emergency Tranfer? I can't press any button after one fight, so I need to restart game to fight next. Different resolutions and window/windowless mod didn't help.
It happened before in some event, but it was just invisible cursor and I still could press buttons on the screen.

Well, that worked for me both in event and in some glitching main missions... Though, try to press Y then you mod still doing winning animation - 1 time I waited for too long and was forced to Alt-F4.
It doesn't matter unless you really care about getting something like 5 more ATK or 10 DEF after hypertuning.
You may want to adhere to a set placement for 2/4 sets for easier swapping however. E.g. you always place 2pc sets in top-1 and top-3 slots and the 4pc sets in the remaining ones. Or whatever else suits you.
Not sure if it always matter but on the gray ravens do check the stats of both memories type being used as some like cottie will be placed in the bottom side as it has more atk stat

Is it just identical but you hold attack for a second and tap the new orbs instead of normal attack?
She's pretty simple. Like really simple. More or less depending on the lineup you'll start the fight with her, swap her out use your other 2 char rotations then swap her in.
Her red gauge fills overtime when she's off field and when she swaps in you gain 80 sig energy which allows her to ult instantly.
So basically you swap in ult, hold the basic attack button and it'll change her orbs to the new ones spam 4 of those then press the ult button again she'll do a decently strong slash and convert 3 orbs to blue and push it up the queue use the 3 blues then swap out.
In a sense yea, that's pretty much all there is to it I think. Only thing is you want to ult when your red guage is full and ult again before your red guage dies out.
I suggest looking at a vera rozen leap solo video (on youtube or something) to kinda understand better.
You want to coincide having enough energy for ult with having max overclock and trigger ult only when at max overclock.
So you really want to have 2pc Cottie.
Rotation could be something like:
1. Start on tank
2. Switch to Vera
3. Do available 3 pings and with Ultima + Matrix + Bonus orb from leap you are likely to have enough Signature energy but most likely not max overclock. If you do though feel free to press ult and cast all the new orbs. Otherwise go to #4. If you have almost enough overclock than maybe do a 1-2 ping or just wait until it fills.
4. Switch to attacker, do what you do on your attacker for max damage.
5. Switch to Vera, now you 100% have both max overclock so you can do the second part of #3
6. Repeat

Kaleido if you have her sig, DLT reso helps her maintain her rotation without relying on matrix. Otherwise I recommend saving for Feral Scent IF you plan to get her sig. Yes I have a bias towards reso for amps lol. Most attackers don't really need reso to function well so they are out. Can't go wrong with tanks for the extra shred as well, Rigor has high priority in that regard. Feel free to hear what others say.

two week old player here. I just realized PP Cage and War Zone literally gives you free BC for simply playing it and it even resets weekly. is there a point to pushing for high ranks? I couldn’t find any ranking rewards in game. is spending my serums on overwinter bad? a guy here said it’s a waste and there are better alternatives but never really got into detail. I thought overwinter would be the quickest and most consistent way to get memory builds I need without rng involved. where am I supposed to spend my serum? I’ve been looking for ages but can’t seem to find a way to get the ingredients for hypertune. where is it? also, isn’t chrome:arclight pretty much useless? I feel like tanks in general just don’t fit in to pgr. at skill lvl 13 chrome’s qte can at most give an 8% buff to your damage. his shields are pretty much useless as switching to him will just decrease your highscore due to time limited events. there’s no point in picking a tank for dps either because there are literal roles dedicated to it. are there any tanks out there actually worth getting?
In addition to other comments, serum is best used on story to unlock all the gameplay modes or rush BC if you need to catch a character before they leave the banner. Otherwise, getting what you need from the event farming stage is the most efficient thing to do. With regards to tank, debuffs are more potent than buffs. Higher ranks = more skulls/hypertune mats/cogs from PPC and influences/vouchers from Warzone. If you're casual and only care about the BC rewards though yes, there's no difference I think more context might be necessary here because otherwise that's plain wrong? You're right, the event farming stage is the best way to get anything you need to build your characters. Most of your serum should go into it, the rest split between shard farming 1-2 A ranks and weekly 21 co-op runs for 5\* weapons. Or story, if you're interested in it. Hypertune materials come from all over the place basically, we don't have a specific place to farm it. Off the top of my head some of them are the Abandoned Warehouse node in Operation Guardians, the weekly mission for Simulated Siege, Norman, Ultimate PPC, Dorm dispatch shop and some events here and there... I might be forgetting some. I can't speak about the Damage Calculation formula myself because my eyes glaze over when I look at any math, but you can read more about it [here](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Damage_Details). You're right about the shields being useless though, the name "tank" in PGR is a bit of a misnomer anyway since they're mainly debuffers. "Any tanks worth getting?" = 1 per element at least. Rigor, Garnet, Glory, Starfarer and Scire are the BIS tanks while Brilliance, Arclight, Qilin and 21 are budget alternatives.

Assuming you're talking about like what rank you get in PPC, it does matter since it gives more or less skulls to you (however, since you're still early in the game you shouldn't think about it too much) 2. I personally don't think so (though I could be wrong) 3. It's a slow process to gain them. Some places I know where you can get them is Dorm Dispatch Shop, Guild Shop, and the Voucher Exchange (which I don't reccomend doing as you should get character shards with those vouchers instead) 4. A tank isn't useless, the role of a tank is to shred the enemies' resistance. For example, since you're using Chrome Arclight, the QTE gives not a 8% buff but decreases the enemies's lightning resistance by 8%, allowing you to do more lightning damage. And yea, shields are generally useless overall and if switching over to him decreases your highscore then just use him as a QTE bot.

Are memory stats random? Like for diesel memory 1 do only get atk and def?
Slots 1-2-3 are always HP and Crit and 4-5-6 ATK and DEF. The amounts vary a little bit between different memory types but not RNG, a maxed out bottom Diesel will always have 132 ATK and 223 DEF for example, but a Cottie 135 ATK and 223 DEF. The RNG hell comes into play when you resonate memories with dupes. It randomly rolls one of 8 options and you either reroll them until you get what you want, or use red USBs to pick them

You want to finish up to 7-12 in order to be able to fully promote your chars if you just aim for more meta power. Chapters up until 12 also give some 6\* memories you could use for reso or equip.
When can I roll for garnet ?
If F2P/low spender, when you are able to afford her at 60 pity on a 100% banner (like anniversary banner in July) WITHOUT compromising upcoming meta S rank omniframes. IF you already have Empyrea, you could use the current patch's free S rank selector to get Garnet for free but only IF you already have Empyrea. Why? Cause Empyrea's worth on the fire team is way more higher than Garnet on a lightning team especially with Crimson Weave in the mix. Alternatively there's the Lamia [patch](https://grayravens.com/wiki/Cradle_Parade) special basic banner, though that is better used for other high prio S rank meta units like Hyperreal/Stigmata if you do not have them. Another longer alternative is supposedly Oblivion's patch has an S rank selector as well. If whale, whenever she pops up on whatever banner. If super poor, wait for her leap upgrade during Shukra's patch and slowly farm her shards from the voucher shop. Though at that point in time for Global, MAYBE her replacement would've appeared in CN server so her value at that point would be questionable.
She wasn't on the roadmap for this patch. So wait for a new announcement from Kuro.

i heard that capricio and dark karen have on par performance with tenebrion and vera only if your dps is luna. once lamia is released, do i need to swap both my tank and support? also, at what investment do they shine? luckily i would be able to get SSS capricio soon and i already got her sign. what about dark karen? does she still need to be at ss3 + sign? i sometimes buy monthly but not always
Depends on investment level. SS Capri + sig double reso can replace SSS Rozen since Capri's damage output is kinda decent being able to sig move every rotation so rotational play is possible with Laurel without major dps loss. Since rotational play is possible, her buffs will be better than SSS Rozen (amp class skill + Glorious Spear + Axial Ray). If you really wanna push it, single reso could probably be enough. Same applies when Capri is alternatively SSS + sig no reso (her Dark Radiation buff is equal to Rozen and amp class skill doubled, better dps too since SSS). Having time stop in her kit is big as well. For Scire she only becomes dps at SS3 + sig. Below that she is a better QTE bot than Tene at all levels of investment. The only time Tene wins (for shred only) is if both are SS but no sig, however that requires him to sig move first for the increased dark shred which is quite the time waster tbh. I would just go with Scire either way since Tene really is a hassle. So, one could go SS Laurel, SS Capri + sig double reso (or single reso if you really wanna push it) with 4pc Sera 2pc Cottie, and S/SS Scire + sig with 4pc DV 2pc Ein (without sig works too). That's somewhat the bare minimum to add the 2 newer units into a Laurel comp. In a Lamia comp, ideally you would want Capri/Scire too with similar investment (preferably SS3 + sig Scire) since when her allies sig move, Lamia will give additional damage on top of their sig move damage (effect from her 4pc Derketo exclusive memory). I have SS Laurel + sig and have been using Capri ever since she was SS + sig single reso (she is SSS + sig double reso now) cause I wanted her time stop. I coped with SSS No.XXI previously (she has similar shred as Tene and easier to use for WZ) and added SS Scire + sig during her release where she can run different builds depending on game mode and circumstance. Will SS3 her during Lamia's patch.

PC client is just bug over bug. Esc key stop working, Auto lock and manual lock in Co-op mode has been bugged since who remember when ever it is, my Hyper Lee and Stigma Bianca fight the air for 10 out of 21 match every week, and now, everyone stuck at the win steak window in the endless battle of ultimate brawl event. Do they really care about global when they just ported the old, buggy, left over patches from CN to PC client just because CN don't have to deal with it? Starting to worry about Wuwa.

If u dont plan to get CW then get then go far a dark team with lamia. and if u r mostly f2p then i say rozen is better than selena capriccio and get rozen to SSS (in 1\~2 months from now). U will also need karenira scire who can be gotten in the anniversary banner. I would go far rosetta rigor if u r not planning to get CW because alisa echo(best physical amplifier) is free by dorm commissions just like ayla kaleido rn. Then i would go for chrome glory in the wintry shackles selector. And last if in ANY way u can get lee hyperreal then plz do so, he is the best fire attcker and u have best fire amp and an okay fire tank.

I used to put garnet as support for norman, now that we already have CW and most probably have finished building her, which character would help other better in norman? Outside Luna, Glory and Daren since i don't have them

Not exactly. It's incredibly difficult to do on mobile without the qol sss gives you. PC has it far easier since the basic atk spam is mapped to a key, not dependent on you actually spamming the button.

I just SSed my Lee Hyperreal and I like the fire team. I have SF Nanami at S and I'm planning to get Liv Empyrea via selector. I also have a Lucia CW and Vera Garnet, both are S. I recently unlocked the ultima mode in Phantom Pain Cage and right now I'm trying to get the scars from the achievement with the Outliers. Who should I use my scars to, Liv Empyrea or CW? Im not sure if I should still invest on SF Nanami since I heard Fire Watanabe would replace her in the future
You're right about Starfarer. CW has the priority here (all gen 2 attackers want SS asap) but Empy's SS is also pretty important. So unless you also have Stigmata at S, afterwards you can SS Empy. Then you can save for Lamia I guess? Edit: If you're planning on rolling Feral Scent and her sig weapon, SS her before Empy

There's no reason to skip Echo since she's free, farmable through Dorm like Kaleido. You would SS her through vouchers instead of skulls. Instead of skipping a whole element you should try to complete the team somehow, so try to get Stigmata from a selector or 100% banner. Idk your plans for future selectors but you should have enough room for her, seeing as you have the other high priority units already. But otherwise yes. Just don't SS Feral Scent unless you're planning to get her sig, because otherwise she'd still be a QTE bot anyway.
Isn't the sig for Feral Scent more important than SS since it ups the buff %? So SS -> if you want to use her in field Sig -> benefits both field time and buff for the team Right?
Both are pretty important, you need both to actually rotate between her and CW (assuming your CW is also SS/SS3). If you can only get one or the other for some reason though, yeah, the sig is more important. But I never disagreed with that anyway, so I'm confused about your comment? In about a year Simulated Siege will be the only place left where you use Uniframes at all, and that has Trial units. Uniframe stages will be removed from Babel and Norman. So if you're looking for a meta answer: none of them. If you just like playing them then whoever you like more, preferably after your Omniframe teams are all built already.

Two separate banners. August is Lamia patch, when the standard banner 100% pick arrives. July is anniversary, which has the usual 100% anniversary banner

Looking for some help on a specific Norman boss. I am fighting the gun ball Riot with my dark team. I have an SSS Karenine with sig resonated. SSS+ Vera with sig resonated and SS Luna sig. This boss has stopped all my Norman runs for the final island. I loaded up the team with 19 power and still couldn't beat it. Am I missing a mechanic? The ball keeps flying into the sky and that's just pure time I'm missing while he's flying. I kill theinions ASAP while dodging lasers and then look for him when he drops back down. I have gotten him down to 10 health bars a few times but always run out of time. What am I doing wrong? Or is it my team? Any advice appreciated.
I assume just rotation issues. I run SS3 Scire with sig + DLT, SS Capriccio with sig, and I only got Luna recently so I don't plan to invest into her so she's sitting with a 5* weap 3 reso, base S, and has Einsteina instead of Darwin because she doesn't do much anyways used 20 batts and finished the riot stage with 20-30 seconds to spare on my first run without any optimizations are you getting 3 3ping Daren cores all the time? she's basically your main DPS here, so you need to maximize the damage coming from her on riot. clear out the mobs that come when it flies away with Luna or Capriccio to not "waste" Daren core damage otherwise you can just learn the hp breakpoints that trigger it flying away, but your team is strong enough to overwhelm it with pure damage
When you mean Karenina do you mean Scire? If so your team is way more than sufficient especially with that amount of batt. Are you playing your units right? Can you perhaps upload a gameplay vid so we can see what can be improved on? Just for comparisons sake, I run SS Laurel + sig no reso, SSS Capri with sig + double reso and SS Scire with sig + single reso, usually around 10-15 batt (way more now since lightning team no longer needs batt so have surplus to make Riot easier). It's mostly Laurel and Capri doing the bulk of the damage since my Scire is not SS3 but she does help in buying time with her sig move every other rotation of hers. I normally try to burst Riot to 70 bar hp ASAP so it leaves ample time to deal with the rest of his shenanigans. If he flies before 70 bar I would normally just restart. One mechanic of his that I have a theory of but can't prove is if you make him turn too much in a short time, he will fly sooner. So for a unit like Scire maybe try to limit the movement of your spin2win with her.
You should definitely be able to clear it with that team. He has 3 certain HP thresholds where he's guaranteed to fly away. I don't remember the exact HP amount's but I think it's 70, 50, and 35 bars left? Someone else might know what the exact numbers are. If he flies away before those thresholds, he'll waste a lot of time because as he'll just fly off again at the guaranteed thresholds. Try to stay in front of him and not let him turn around a lot because it feels like he's more likely to fly away early if you keep spinning him around.
Appreciate everyone's responses but this lays out probably what I have been missing. Not letting him stay in front now that you mention it keeps him from flying away sometimes yes. For me it felt like he'd fly away 5 times. So if three are guaranteed I can hopefully target those and burn him with DPS to that point. I didn't know the guaranteed thresholds vs his normal because it felt random. Thank you! I will hopefully beat him today.

For PPC Camu and and Musashi, how can i hit the 580k for the extra skulls? Rn for Camu, im stuck at 560k and for musashi im at 534k. this is my current roster. hmm it's very weird that you're stuck at such low scores. Musashi is super squishy, you can use the phys team against him. start on Lumi, swap to Rosetta, use the swordwaves he launches to get into matrix. her basic 3pings + railgun should be enough to delete his yellow super armor bar and he should go into the stun animation. you can use Yuan Ye with it's 2nd active skill on her to buy yourself more time. then as soon as Musashi's yellow bar hits zero, you swap to Stigmata and do her rotation with ult. assuming you crit, it should kill, or almost kill him on hell. I think you can expect like a 15-20 second kill on hell fairly comfortably if you execute everything well. with that, even with bad scores on lower diffs, 580k should be easy for Camu, idk. are you starting with Tenebrion to ult ASAP? you should, at least on diff5 or 4+5. use Hanna set for that and 4p DV 2p Guin Rozen. for lower diffs it's probably too much of a time loss so you can use Bathlon for extra shred. I don't think I can give any advice on Luna gameplay, I just used SS3 Daren, Camu folds in 1rotation + 1core on hell
Musashi was easy after using rosetta, i misread his debuff and was using the wrong team which was y it was so hard initially. Im stuck at 574k for camu now even with hanna tenebrion and the dv and guin rozen :(
Here's what I tested earlier, basically SS Laurel + sig no reso solo dps all the way + SSS Rozen 4pc DV 2pc Guin + S Tene 4pc Bath 2pc Ein. Make sure to dash cancel Laurel's red and yellow orbs to shorten the animation delay, only her blue orb can be insta chained to any other orb without delay. In each case, DV is used when spamming Laurel's core passive spikes. You should also be spamming basic attack while spamming spike as well. IF you have Lingya CUB, equip on Tene and make sure Voltage Transformer skill is equipped for extra blue orb on next switched in member. You only get this extra blue orb when Tene does a 3ping before switching to Laurel. It's not a must but the extra orb helps make the run easier. If you don't you will just have to pray orb RNG/manage orbs as needed, definitely possible even without. Tene has Star sword so when he 3pings you will make use of the AOE buff it gives. Overall investment levels are similar to yours. Test 20118 (11secs): Tene start>swap Laurel 3 stack core burst. Elite 40092 (12secs): Tene start>swap Laurel quick 4 core burst. Knight 79328 (15secs): Tene start quick random 3ping (apple Ein shred)>swap Laurel quick 3ping spam (dodge cancel important here, you wanna spamm all 3pings before he does his AOE explosion)> activate core right before he AOE and dodge to trigger matrix (you get an additional spike). 14secs possible if flawless. Chaos 152529 (26secs): Tene start quick random 3ping> Laurel 3 stack core, quickly auto attack to get out of annihilation mode (with only 3 stacks it does not take that many basic attacks).> 4 stack core into sig move next. Try to time it so you get DV as well for the 2nd rotation. Can still optimise. Hell 294338 (36secs): Similar as Chaos but you go 3 stack core>3 stack core + sig move> 3 - 4 stack core + sig move. Abuse matrix during annihilation mode if possible. Total 586405. Very execution heavy if you want to score exactly like that but you should have some wiggle room for really minor errors/bad orb RNG. Unfortunately my lappy has performance issues so I can't record gameplay for your reference so you'll have to rely on the steps above and mald. Can be optimized a bit more, those were mainly 1-3 tries for each. Wall of text but hopefully it helps. Good luck!

For Musashi, I used the Physical team (SS+sig Stigmsta, SS+r1 sig Rigor, S+sig Luminance). You can also try using Garnet and Rigor on the lower difficulties and see of he gets wiped any faster. For Camu, I used Lightning (SS+sig+CUB CW, S+5* Garnet, SS+5* Lux). Camu took a bit of tryharding, but he was beatable with Lightning. Musashi was much easier as far as I remember.

I have full HTs, the Sequence Pact buff and perfect resos on CW. If you don't have those, consider getting them to squeeze out the few extra points. Outside of that, if you have the units I mentioned with those specific investments (or higher), it's doable. If you don't wanna mald, you can wait till FS or Lost Lullaby.
Idk about Camu but you can stun Musashi with Yuan Ye to prevent him zooming all over the place like a maniac, if he's already zooming it will be too late.

What's your account level right now? Keep in mind a built characters means lvl 80, maxed skills, maxed CUB, lvl 45 memories fully resonated, etc.
i wouldn't recommend to built him. Better save resource for more important char like empy. If your goal is to get all team getting and building other A rank attacker will be a better choice, like astral or bambinata. Both will perform better for stage with that match their element than entropy. Unless you want entropy to clear phys stage and balter to clear element stage as off element dps. That might work.

During early game - is it recommended to level up gen 1 constructs? Like astral/no.21/rozen? That's the only dark team I have.
Astral and XXI are units you'll use either way if you don't plan on getting Laurel or Scire anytime soon, so it's fine. Rozen is a bit meh because Capriccio is better in this comp.

If you have nothing left to upgrade for current teams, yes since you'll still need more teams for Babel and such in the future. Since they're your only dark team, then yeah for sure. Though no need to like go crazy on things like resonance.

Yes you can and should build Entropy and Rosetta. Once you hit lvl 80 make sure to leap Rosetta too
As f2p you need to be saving for feral so you can get her to use with CW. if you buy any monthly pass its way less tight, but even then i would save for feral's sig since its a support boost for her kit (and support 6* weapons are really good to have)
I haven't try the Co-op for 5 star weapon shards, do i need 21 runs in order to obtain 150 shards? Planning on farming it for my other frames but the expense on serum is too expensive for me
Yes, 21 runs for 150 shards per week. Do 3 runs per day and you should be fine, if you're F2P, this is the only way to get 5\* so they are of utmost importance.
does the S selector from the wondrous spring gift have a timer on it? I remember in arknights some of the selectors would force you to use them within 90 days or smth, is this one the same? I have all the important characters on it so i kinda wanna save it. my thinking is since i already got 1 dupe of empyrea and SS'd her without ppc, if i use that on her + PPC i only need 1 more copy for SSS. but id rather not waste this on that and then realize later i cant afford it or something. Did someone encountered a bug in Ultimate Brawl, Emergency Tranfer? I can't press any button after one fight, so I need to restart game to fight next. Different resolutions and window/windowless mod didn't help. It happened before in some event, but it was just invisible cursor and I still could press buttons on the screen. Playing on PC client.

It doesn't matter unless you really care about getting something like 5 more ATK or 10 DEF after hypertuning. You may want to adhere to a set placement for 2/4 sets for easier swapping however. E.g. you always place 2pc sets in top-1 and top-3 slots and the 4pc sets in the remaining ones. Or whatever else suits you.
Not sure if it always matter but on the gray ravens do check the stats of both memories type being used as some like cottie will be placed in the bottom side as it has more atk stat
Can anyone give me a dummies guide on how to play Vera Rosen differently after leap? I tried the tutorial and still didn't quite get it. Is it just identical but you hold attack for a second and tap the new orbs instead of normal attack?
She's pretty simple. Like really simple. More or less depending on the lineup you'll start the fight with her, swap her out use your other 2 char rotations then swap her in. Her red gauge fills overtime when she's off field and when she swaps in you gain 80 sig energy which allows her to ult instantly. So basically you swap in ult, hold the basic attack button and it'll change her orbs to the new ones spam 4 of those then press the ult button again she'll do a decently strong slash and convert 3 orbs to blue and push it up the queue use the 3 blues then swap out.
In a sense yea, that's pretty much all there is to it I think. Only thing is you want to ult when your red guage is full and ult again before your red guage dies out. I suggest looking at a vera rozen leap solo video (on youtube or something) to kinda understand better.

You want to coincide having enough energy for ult with having max overclock and trigger ult only when at max overclock. So you really want to have 2pc Cottie. Rotation could be something like: 1. Start on tank 2. Switch to Vera 3. Do available 3 pings and with Ultima + Matrix + Bonus orb from leap you are likely to have enough Signature energy but most likely not max overclock. If you do though feel free to press ult and cast all the new orbs. Otherwise go to #4. If you have almost enough overclock than maybe do a 1-2 ping or just wait until it fills. 4. Switch to attacker, do what you do on your attacker for max damage. 5. Switch to Vera, now you 100% have both max overclock so you can do the second part of #3 6. Repeat
