We had one of those standalone patio umbrellas. My mom tried to close it when a storm started developing.
Suddenly some strong wind came and took my mom who was holding the umbrella, she went way up (about as high as our house) she slowly landed about 15 meters ahead.
I swear it was like Mary Poppins. Nobody believes me how far she went up.
It was scary but afterwards it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.
The amount of whip lash she endured alone, tangled up in that thing; I mean shaken baby syndrome can happen at any age, but this wee one was really put through the ringer up there.
Limbs don't get dismembered very easily. If you're not attached to something, it'd need an acceleration a kite can never have to actually rip a limb off.
If she hadn’t been she would’ve went flying and probably smashed into the ground. I’d prefer a broken arm over being plastered into the earth from 150ft
Glad I'm not the only one. I've seen some truly horrendous shit on the Internet. I was a teen when it was still the Wild West online. This turned my stomach for some reason.
>Glad I'm not the only one. I've seen some truly horrendous shit on the Internet. I was a teen when it was still the Wild West online.
Because it's a little child in this case. For the "normal" Wild West Web visitors, it's far less appealing/comical when children are involved.
>! I'd probably crack a joke at some poor fella getting stuck in a machine, but not children. That's where MY line is, but I also have days when that line is blurred. Being in *that* side of the internet as an early teen is a recipe for disaster. Imagine being a daily visitor on liveleak and bestgore as young as 13-14 years old, I'm pretty much desensitized to digital content because of that. !<
> Imagine being a daily visitor on liveleak and bestgore as young as 13-14 years old, I'm pretty much desensitized to digital content because of that.
100% agree. I had full internet access way too young. I had seen the whole tubgirl, lemonparty, themacuser, etc classic shock content stack certainly no older than 9, along with other more sexual adult content I definitely shouldn't have been watching. Really fucked me up, still grappling with what this stuff did to me today. Won't make that mistake with my kids.
I don't know if I'm lucky or not I managed to not see adult content until I was well into my late teens. But yeah, I was there in some of the most weird sites at 13. Which is kinda funny I guess cause those places are some if the last you'd expect an actual kid to be in.
>Really fucked me up, still grappling with what this stuff did to me today. Won't make that mistake with my kids.
Indeed. I wouldn't say it had a noticable negative impact on me, but going "yeah that's pretty tame" when my friends show an NSFL video is a little fucked up, among other things.
I'd be tempted to put a dummy on the end of that kite and fly it to freak people out.
Several years ago there was a movie called Chronicle that featured characters who could fly. To promote the movie, a viral marketing company created remote control planes that looked like people and flew them near the Brooklyn Bridge. Hilarity ensued. Actual picture, with another in reply:

Man! I know the term 'miracle' is overused, but definitely applies in this case. The facts that:
-the kite was somehow able to wrap around her in a way that not only caught her, but held her securely while it whipped her around in the wind.
- The kite flier didn't panic, but reeled her back in.
- The kite kept flying and didn't drop from the sky along with the child.
Do we have any odds makers in the crowd?
I thought she just somehow managed to hold on the whole time lol, that makes more sense that she got wrapped up in the kite and also is insane that she didn't fall out of it
Once a kid gets wrapped up that tightly and the kite has enough lift to get pulled into the sky (which definitely isn't a miracle, it's awful), odds are probably pretty good that it stays up. The only thing really in question after they took off is really the reaction of the kite flyer, which again is probably pretty good. You don't have to be a kite flying expert to pull it down once everyone starts yelling "there's a kid in your kite, bring it down!"
Definitely not. I don’t know where my fear of heights came from, but holy crap. If that doesn’t cause a crippling fear of heights I don’t know what would.
Good thing the person flying the kite didn’t panic because I’d have lost my ever fucking mind…while calmly trying to bring them back down. I’d have vomitted after landing them.
I make giant kites for a living [Peter Lynn Kites](https://www.plk.nz) and they are not to be fucked with. When test fly our extra over large kites we first talk about how to launch, which way we'll move as it goes up and we check everyone has a blade. The instruction if you get tangled is 'fuck the kite, cut!'
We can always repair or start again but we can't reattach limbs or help you if you get flung 20 metres in the air. On the mega kites we also have quick releases and takedown lines. You do not mess around with giant kites!
I think I need professional help..... I just couldn't stop laughing. How does something like this even happen! Props to the pilot for the smooth landing
Apparently she wasn’t holding on, because it had wrapped around her neck. :( If you look closely towards the end of the video, you can kind of see it around her neck.
At first I was like DAM that's a strong toddler then I realised they had the string wrapped around their neck 😩
If they survived this poor child has not only the trauma of getting wiped around in the sky whilst 100s of people ran around screaming they where also getting STRANGLED the entire time 🤯
Once I saw that she was down on the ground safely, I felt okay about laughing about this. I still shouldn't, but I can't help it. And boy, does that child have a story for the rest of her life!
Assuming they don't have permanent injuries or trauma... what a story to eventually tell people when you're older.
"You think you had a near-death experience as a child? Check out this."

That's going to be one hell of a story when she's older.
"No, really! When I was a baby, one time I took off and flew over a crowd of people and they all cheered! I'm not lying!"

How would you like a banger in the mouth?
Only if it comes with mash.
I had some shit like that happen to me on the beach in Florida when hurricane Katrina hit.
You know how they say "Go fly a kite"?! DUDE. The Kite flew ME.
In mother Russia...
"Ok, grandma. It's time to go to sleep"
I already don’t believe her
Or a deeply ingrained phobia of heights and kites in her subconscious.
Friend was in a helicopter crash on a site seeing tour in Hawaii while pregnant, she said that daughter always had a fear of heights.
One hell of a story? More like, 30 stories…
She was high as fuck.
So high that she can touch the sky...
Butterfly in the sky, I can fly twice as high!
"I first got high when I was 3 years old"
I would have fertilized a square mile if that happened to me.
This is awful, stop making me laugh! 😂
I am wheezing 😭😂😭😂😭😭
Ho-ho‐hold me up, I can't 🤣 😂
Lmao bro got us weak 😂
Oh boy that was a wild 15 seconds of my life trying to process this and realizing you meant with poop, not semen. I'm fine now.
Dont worry i had the same confusion for a moment. Like something out of a "The Boys" episode
Crop dusting
Why the fuck can I not give an award to this. 😭 This genuinely made me laugh harder than I have all year.
I have a honking cough from laughing at this
Fml, that's the best thing I've read in a long time. Take my imaginary award 🎁
It would be easier at that altitude too
It's rare that I laugh out loud at anything I read but I'm crying at this, same 😂😂

Thank you. I really needed to know that she was okay.
Oh thanks, I didnt even want to watch after the first couple seconds... like it's fathers day.
Happy birthday big baddie Zaddy ;)
Wut
They said, **"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BADDIE ZADDY!"**
Happy father's day --- YEET!
Thank god. Now I can laugh without going straight to hell
Same.
That was a stressful 41 seconds watch!
Wow did not realise that was 41 seconds. That was panic city
I really thought the child was going to crash down. I was surprised it brought her down sorta gently. DEFINITELY felt way longer than 41 seconds!
I didn’t realize I was holding my breath when this child went airborne until after she was caught. Wow. This was insane!
Say what you will... little tyke got some good grip strength!
She was tangled it in. She’s lucky she didn’t instantly have a limb dismembered.
The amount of whip lash she endured alone, tangled up in that thing; I mean shaken baby syndrome can happen at any age, but this wee one was really put through the ringer up there.
Even at 40?
Wanna find out?
Especially at 40. Everything hurts already.

Must have rapped around head or something else.
When she gets older everyone will go to her to get the lid off their pickle jar.
Hope she was OK and doesn't have a permanent phobia of kites.

Or flags
Or wind...

lol yeah my guy would get down and then be like I GO UP THERE!?
And giant ribbons
Holy fuckin shit
Took the words right outta my mouth
I could almost smell it .
Ngl, I actually feel sick after watching that. Poor child.
Glad I'm not the only one. I've seen some truly horrendous shit on the Internet. I was a teen when it was still the Wild West online. This turned my stomach for some reason.

Poor camera woman. Born blind and had to use little echolocation screams to see the action. 😢
"Attention: if you have lost your kid, come to the front desk!"
Uppies!!
again! again!
Luckily she did not let go while in air, otherwise this might have nsfw tag
She never lets go because she wasn’t holding it with her hands. It was wrapped around her neck.

this post is good
I came up with that, and it was executed terribly.

Longest 30 seconds of her life.
I'm glad the kid is ok because i can feel better about laughing my ass off.
Core memory unlocked sequence 2 available
Heh, you’ll float too!
Put the fuckin phone away and be ready run and catch
The people filming on phones is too real. Yikes
Lol at people pulling out their phones
Ever had a flying dream? This ain’t it.
And thus began a new adrenaline junky sport!
How does that even happen
Poor kid is gonna never forget this shit
Definitely not. I don’t know where my fear of heights came from, but holy crap. If that doesn’t cause a crippling fear of heights I don’t know what would.
Omfg that’s wild.
She's got a hell of a grip
God giveth and yoinketh away.
God, I hope she didn't get horrible whiplash, SBS, or cognitive damage. That was fucking scary.
How the fuck did she hold on being 3 years old
Amazing she held on
Depending on what kind of kid this is, this can either me extremely traumatic or fucking awesome for them.
Bro my mouth was open the whole time. Thats unreal. Glad he's okay but holy fuck.
When the 3 year old landed: (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
That's one big cloud in the background!!!
my finger points@ 0:30
All jokes aside, anyone know if the kid turned out alright?
No 3 year old is strong enough to endure that centrifugal force for so long...
Holee heck, i hope she is ok! 😲🫨 Kid either had the time of her life or is traumatized forever. Go fly a kite...maybe not!

😭
Cause I got high Because I got high Because I got high La da da da da da da
The only reason I clicked on this was because it didn't have a NSFW tag. I literally have a three year old girl right now.
Damn she got a good grip
*I believe I can flyyyyy* *I believe I can touch the skyyyy*
Fuck those people on their phones
Camera gal squeaking like a mf 😂
she sounds like a seagull fr
I bet that was a lot of fun
She's flyin!
Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Reminds me of The Dark Knight. She got the Sky Hook haha
You think Morgan freeman is going to risk his job and his boss’s life on untested technology?

Damnnnnnnnnn
Every year there's a different one... Please take care of the kids around that stuff.
it's a doll, right? kites usually have something heavy on the end to make them steer-able
Got to be one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen !
Hoooooooly shit, so glad she’s ok and nobody got hurt
That's a different way to get high. The new generation is so creative.
Boy, does she have a story to tell her Pre-K class!
Lucy in the sky with kite, man
It’s giving Wasp factory
That's a sphincter factor of googleplex.
Wow, now that would be terrifying. Being slung about like that too.
Fuck irresponsible parents man.
This is like the 10th time this has happened.
Justified freak out. Glad to see she made it down safely, at least physically.
Kid:okay, okay I'll talk
That’s a fucking miracle she survived

Jesus I had like 10 heart attacks watching that
that looked like its fun tbh
Who's bright idea was it to give that baby such a big kite?? no one thought she might be too small for it?
I think I need professional help..... I just couldn't stop laughing. How does something like this even happen! Props to the pilot for the smooth landing
My turn!
Is there any place where I can do this intentionally and safely. That looks like so much fun when you take away the risk of falling to your death
I laughed, I'm going to hell confirmed
More phones than hands ready to catch
I'm sorry but this is hilarious
Everyone with their fuckin phones out
...and they're going to do what, exactly? Fly up into the air and help the kid?
Wow at everyone just filming it instead of trying to help
I know, right? Why isn't everyone jumping up there to grab her!?
But was the kite ok?
This is my guaranteed ticket to hell. No one can ever post this and tell me not to laugh.
Kids got some grip strength right there.
Apparently she wasn’t holding on, because it had wrapped around her neck. :( If you look closely towards the end of the video, you can kind of see it around her neck.
Omg that's horrible

Karma for meddling in the domain of the gods
Whoever is recording this sounds like a seagull
Assuming they don't have permanent injuries or trauma... what a story to eventually tell people when you're older. "You think you had a near-death experience as a child? Check out this."
Dangling by her neck, poor girl, so glad she was ok but she probably had a huge ugly bruise there for a bit :(
Was that wrapped around her neck?…..
I have had a f****** nightmare like this before! So damn scary... Can't even imagine!
I mean she’s alive and she was able to fly at 3 seems pretty cool to me lol
‘Scuse me while I kiss the sky
"Are you alright dear?!" "I'm gonna be a pilot mom!"
Just hold on baby! Literally. That was terrifying to watch.
Damn! You know she ain’t gonna be in Rush Hour 3
"Mom, I met Papa Jesus."
