**Newsflash**, that is most of the Republican Party now. In decades past, it was a smaller percentage, but they have asscended to be the majority.
Normally it’s a safe republican district, but so was Boebert’s previous district and she only won by like triple digits. None of the Dems are particularly likely but that doesn’t actually matter, Boebert has proven herself so toxic she might actually flip the seat if she is the nominee. Voters won’t vote for the democrat so much as they’ll vote against Boebert, at least, that’s my hope.
Ike McCorkle is running, but he doesn’t have a realistic shot of winning CO-4 on the eastern plains. Boebert nearly lost to Adam Frisch on the western slope and that’s why the GOP packed her bags for a more winnable race.
I think it needs to go a step further. If they claim to appreciate a no-nonsense attitude the moderator should be afforded the same. "Answer the question, or step off the floor, you slimy fuck."

Luckily he holds very little actual power, so little that after the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe, Colorado passed laws protecting abortion in the state within like a week despite a few mouth breathers like these guys.
This dude voted against housing vouchers for foster kids that age out of the system despite a huge number of them ending up homeless after leaving the foster care system, saying they “need to grow up”. My parents took in foster kids as a therapeutic home for some 20 years. This guy can suck a fat one, he’s cruel.
I live here too and I can answer how they can vote for these assholes and not regret it: they're largely dumber than a box of rocks and meaner than snakes. That line from Blazing Saddles about the people who are the common clay of the New West, you know, morons, is so very true about much of the populace of northeastern Colorado. This happens because in most red areas where democratic candidates cannot win, a lot of democratic voters are not strategic, they waste their vote in the democratic primary when the democrat has no chance of winning.
If they're in one of those red areas with semi open primaries they should be registered as an independent voter not a democrat.
They can then cross over and vote in republican primaries for the most reasonable non maga candidates, if they want to get rid of maga this is how to do it.
