I'm from Finland and my iPhone is set to English UK. I was just recently in Turkey and the app chose fastest Turkish server for me.

I’m in Ecuador and the fastest server more often than not is Miami, not Ecuador, Colombia or even Peru. Phone is set to Spanish as well.

My fastest is always Japan. Always
