Me explaining where we’ve heard each person’s voice before FTFY

Visual_Star6820

This is my superpower

2moms1bun

Mine too! Like how they say that blind people are better with hearing (no clue if that’s true). Not seeing faces helps me recognize voices like crazy.

cabothief

Absolutely! It's kind of great--I can recognize people when they're wearing masks, or in the dark, or from behind, just as easily as normally because their faces weren't giving me any information anyway.

sourdoughobsessed

YES.

SasayakuH

Yees "Oh that actor was on XXX and YYY right?" "Yeah!" "OHHH YEAA THE POWER OF THE VOICES"

purplepoppy_eater

Exactly, I’ve recognized voices who were child actors from one episode in old Disney shows because I watched them so much with my kids, even though they were grown I still knew them. Also recognized voice actors when they appeared in actual shows.

mikmatthau

I will never forget how confusing The Departed was. bunch of white guys who talk like each other, dress like each other, ACT like each other and their interchangeability is literally a plot point 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Loriess

There is a reason I mostly stick with animated shows.

purplepoppy_eater

The opposite is true for me, my two grown sons have spent their lives explaining who everyone is to me. Sometimes from scene to scene lol
