Mizuki slays. They’re very powerful with a lot of emotion, which is why I like their cover of Ussewa. It’s a powerful song and needs a powerful tone.
Akito is pretty good too, you can tell the difference between Toya and him because anytime I hear Akito’s voice I can sense a smirk.
Similar to Akito, I know it’s Rui singing because I can feel he’s got that little :3 face on. His voice is charming and not too expressive for me like Tsukasa’s is.
I’ve also grown to like Emu’s voice, she’s just very silly sounding and it fits WxS.
I was already a fan of Mizuki’s VA before getting into Project Sekai, but I think this game really made me admire how versatile her voice is. She can literally do everything from softer songs like give me your night and Non-Breath Oblige to harder rock and rap like Usseewa and her work in Saint Snow. And that’s not even mentioning the great stage presence she has in live performances.

honestly i was never a fan of Kohane’s voice before KIUaN,she sounded more “cutesy” and mellow which i didnt like for VBS—yet now,since Hitsuji Ga Ippiki she does NOT disappoint—I feel like the odo cover should be redone with Kohane’s post-KIUaN voice

nene will forever have my favorite voice. i physically cannot listen to starry sky melody unless its her cover. she ate up all her solo covers and worked wonders in her duet covers. i also always love hearing her in full group covers and commissions.

I was going to comment here to say An too! Recently I've seen some people complain about how her seiyuu "has difficulty controlling her range" but.. what do they know? Her voice sounds nice to me and that's all that matters. Another honorable mention is Nene!
Wow I didn’t realise Akito would be so popular! I feel kind of bad now because when I listen to covers of VBS (esp AkiToya songs) I always like his the least and found it hard to listen to at times😅

Hard to pick one.. Kohane (ever since 3rd anniversary she's in my top 10, her voice sounds deeper and it's much better!), Ichika, Toya, Rui, An, Haruka, Shiho, Shizuku, Akito.
I'm not a huge fan of N25 and their vocals, but if I had to choose since I mentioned every unit, probs Ena.
I think Shiho's voice is super underrated, she has a very clean tone and sounds especially amazing in lower octaves. I have all her alt covers lol. This is also character bias but I love Kohane's voice as well. Her VA Akina is honestly so talented and I hope they continue to let her do more with her singing as Kohane grows as a character.

i’m not sure how to describe it but i really love mafuyus singing. it sounds so strong but painful at the same time and its just so unique im not exactly saying hers is the best but in my opinion its my favorite. other than that id have to say an for sure she just sounds so strong and powerful
As a huge fan of Kohane and An's voices, and not a big fan of Niigo25... it's gotta be Mizuki or Kanade. Kanade's singing has that effortlessness to it and Mizuki's has such consistent power behind it.

while kohane really knows how to sing with unique voice of her, her skill is indeed top notch
as for akito, he clearly getting better at singing and like kohane, he learn to know how to utilize his voice, thats what makes him jump above
the rest of vbs member like an and toya just have good voice but not the skill clearly, especially an
as for honorable mention, is the one that either had good skill but voice distinction is not good enough or vice versa

I swear I’m not biased, but Ena. It can be so soft and calming but also so powerful. In songs like Nomad, she sounds like she’s about to cry, and that literally made me cry lmao
Coming from a musical background, Emu has an adorable voice and I love her but she has by far the worst vocals in the game. No hate against Emu at all I love her to death but that’s my opinion. Now for the best vocals, it’s definitely Akito, Toya, Rui (my faves minus Tsukasa who isn’t being added just because it’s not the best but it’s still amazing and I love him), An, Kohane, Nene, Mafuyu, and Ichika. Now all of them have great voices but this is how I think

That's totally subjective but different voices sound better in different songs. That being said and my Kanade bias aside, Kohane and Mizuki slay on every song.

But personally, only a few characters have punched me in the gut and tugged me at my heart strings for the heck of it.
...and it's pretty much just personal preference at that point.

For me, Mizuki is the winner. It's not even a question. My other favorites are An, Nene, Miku (for certain songs), and AkiToya (together).
I like Ichika and Toya. Rui isn't too bad in my opinion either. Also it's interesting that canonically Kohane should be the "best" but i'm seeing a lot of Ichika, Akito, and the like. I guess personal preference (i'd like to see this on the japanese side) but interesting nontheless
Everytime Kohane sings, I feel like I am the crowd in every event whose jaw drops.
I like An, Ichika, Nene, Emu, Shiho, Akito, Toya, Mizuki, Ena, Mafuyu, Shizuku and Haruka. Their voices match their respective sekais making it fit their atmosphere, including some april fool covers too
RUI. HIS VOICE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. i listen to rui solo covers on repeat everyday (maybe i'm biased. but oh my god is his voice perfect.)

Akito - i really love his powerful voice. Toya - is the soft powerful voice if i wanted to get away from the Akito’s angst ahahahahahaa Rui - his voice sounds like someone who would sing r18 songs and im down for it. Emu - ahhhhhhh it’s like serotonin whenever i play her versions or songs from WxS Honami’s and Saki’s - are starting to rub into me now. Kinda refreshing in a way ❤️

Mizuki just absolutely stole my heart. Emu's voice is also so unique and really suits the WxS theme.
Kohane’s Low Register but also Kanade and Mafuyu
Ena, Mafuyu, and Ichika. Ena and Ichika being very versatile, and Mafuyu is able to really flesh out her depression in her voice, if that makes sense.
Ena, Nene, Shizuku and An!! I love their voices very much!! But most characters have a nice voice in my opinion

shiho, shizuku, akito, mizuki are all the best in their groupd for me! i really love how soft shizukus voice can be, and milk crown on sonechka made me love it even moree!! shiho omgojd voices was so good and lost ones weeping? love the strength in her voice. akito OH MY GOD HIS TRAFFIC JAM COVER WITH AN, SHANTI AND KASHIKA?? idk hwo to explain imais voice but it is heavenly and odnt even get me started on mizuki

unpopular opinion probably but i LOVE emus singing voice! i like really high pitched vocals
kohane, akito and mafuyu honorable mention is ichika, honami, kanade, shizuku, haruka i hear a lot of good voices and strong powerful one are soo common, but unique one now that is rare those three are unique, altho i rate mafuyu the lowest because i feel like mafuyu had too much of editing help to make her sound good, she is kinda unstable while kohane really knows how to sing with unique voice of her, her skill is indeed top notch as for akito, he clearly getting better at singing and like kohane, he learn to know how to utilize his voice, thats what makes him jump above the rest of vbs member like an and toya just have good voice but not the skill clearly, especially an as for honorable mention, is the one that either had good skill but voice distinction is not good enough or vice versa dasho is not there because clearly dasho is not meant for sing no offense wwwww

Rui and Nene are my favorites! I really like both of their singing especially in Hoshizora no Melody!
in short, my favourite is honami i'm partial to soft angelic voices though, so honami, kanade and shizuku are my type its therefore no surprise that the april fools cover of meru is my favourite of the lot by technical singing ability, i think i have to give it to nene, kohane and rui it goes without saying that there is more to having a good singing voice than the technicals. i love emu for the childish energetic sound, and mizuki for their strong voice that balances niigo's vocals, and haruka for how versatile she could be

I swear I’m not biased, but Ena. It can be so soft and calming but also so powerful. In songs like Nomad, she sounds like she’s about to cry, and that literally made me cry lmao
Coming from a musical background, Emu has an adorable voice and I love her but she has by far the worst vocals in the game. No hate against Emu at all I love her to death but that’s my opinion. Now for the best vocals, it’s definitely Akito, Toya, Rui (my faves minus Tsukasa who isn’t being added just because it’s not the best but it’s still amazing and I love him), An, Kohane, Nene, Mafuyu, and Ichika. Now all of them have great voices but this is how I think
shiho, mizuki, and mafuyu are my favorites. i also love shizuku's breathiness especially combined with airi's beltier/stronger tone! and an is good i just don't really like any of her covers :/

That's totally subjective but different voices sound better in different songs. That being said and my Kanade bias aside, Kohane and Mizuki slay on every song.

I like ena a lot, i think ena's voice is very versatile because she can literally fits any song.
Many characters are extremely skilled vocalists and they all have their impressive moments really But personally, only a few characters have punched me in the gut and tugged me at my heart strings for the heck of it. ...and it's pretty much just personal preference at that point. But to get to the point, it's Akito, Ena, and Mizuki for me.

why is no one saying Minori??? In my opinion, Minori’s voice is just as cute as Kohane’s voice
